Liberty Requires The Smallest Possible Government..

Like any organism, government struggles to survive and thrive. For government to thrive, liberty must be curtailed.

For liberty to thrive, government must be curtailed.

Which do you choose?

  1. It's even more than choice. The Republic was set up to keep the democracy from eating everything. I, personally, do not know how to strengthen the republic, or to keep balance. But I think what has been done, taking senators from states, removing the weighting of regions, and some other things, may have unalterably flawed the capacity of the republic to hold the democracy in check. Choices indeed. But if they all lead to one conclusion, with the mechanisms to do otherwise having been squandered, it ends up being no choice at all. Which is what I think happened. A near full reset back to constitutional norms is the only way. I don't see that happening.

Remember, North Korea, China, and Europe, all vote. North Korea even has 100% participation!
