UCF’s new ‘Diversity Chair’: Trump supporters are not welcome on campus

University of Central Florida’s (UCF) Student Government Association (SGA) just appointed a diversity chair who believes that “Trump supporters are not welcome on our campus.”

The newly appointed Diversity Chair, Grayson Lanza, is a known progressive who has a history of making those with differing opinions feel unwelcomed.

Daniel Hanna, a UCF student who voted for Donald Trump, told the Knightly News about a run-in he had with Lanza during a Trump rally last year.

“When we started debating politics, I eventually said ‘you know the great thing about this country is we can both differ regarding political views but we can openly discuss it… Then I offered him a handshake.’ He said ‘I’m not shaking your hand, I do not tolerate you and you are not welcome here,’” Hanna recalled.
According to Florida Today, Lanza held a protest sign at the Trump victory rally in December which read:

"On Long Island, Trump to highlight violence from MS-13 gang to push Congress on immigration." -David Nakamura

David Nakamura at the Washington Post details President Trump’s efforts to eradicate the violent MS-13 gang in America’s cities. The President will be visiting Suffolk County on Long Island, which has seen a surge in violent crime from the gang – 17 murders in over 18 months – the Washington Post reports. The President will deliver “a very forceful message about just how menacing this threat is,” and highlight “the systemic consequences of our failure to enforce immigration laws over many years,” a White House aide told the Post. The President will use the speech to lay the foundation of his immigration policy – which includes arresting and removing violent gangs, bolstering the number of ICE and Customs Border Patrol officers, constructing a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, and urging the passaging of the sanctuary cities and Kate’s law in the U.S. Senate.

After the failed healthcare vote, Avik Roy in the National Review writes, “the GOP cannot simply `move on’ and give up on health care. Health care is the biggest driver of our debt and deficit, the biggest driver of growth in government, and one of the biggest drivers of economic insecurity for those in the middle class and below,” he emphasizes, noting healthcare reform isn’t “optional.”

Intelligence chairman accuses Obama aides of hundreds of unmasking requests

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is accusing top political aides of President Obama of making hundreds of requests during the 2016 presidential race to unmask the names of Americans in intelligence reports, including Trump transition officials.

Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), in a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, said the requests were made without specific justifications on why the information was needed.

“We have found evidence that current and former government officials had easy access to U.S. person information and that it is possible that they used this information to achieve partisan political purposes, including the selective, anonymous leaking of such information,” Nunes wrote in the letter to Coats.

The letter was provided to The Hill from a source in the intelligence community.

In March, Nunes disclosed that he had seen data suggesting Trump campaign and transition officials were having their names unmasked by departing officials in the...

FUSION GPS WERE PAID RUSSIAN AGENTS WHEN THEY CREATED THE DOSSIER

Fusion GPS, the company that paid to create a dossier on Donald Trump, was acting on behalf of Russia to abolish the Magnitsky Act. The dossier was compiled by a former British spy working for Fusion GPS and consisted primarily of gossip from Russian oligarchs. It ended up in the hands of the FBI thanks to never Trumper John McCain.

In other words, at the same time they were receiving money indirectly from a senior Russian government official they were paying to put the dossier together. They are smear merchants who worked as Russian agents.

Given Russia’s clear desire to abolish The Magnitsky Act and Hillary’s declared opposition to Magnitsky, it seems Russia and Hillary were on the same page. In fact, Hillary has a history of giving Russia what they want, including a uranium mine, U.S. technology, and abandonment of a missile defense system in Eastern Europe.

Ian Schwartz wrote this in realclearpolitics yesterday: At a Senate Judiciary Hearing today, William Browder, Hermitage Capital Management chief, testified the firm Fusion GPS was acting on behalf of Russia with their debunked dossier against ...

The Time has come for Republicans to Repeal and Replace

Larry Elder in Real Clear Politics acknowledges Republicans have a tough path forward in repealing and replacing Obamacare, but he also reminds us of the Democrats’ ultimate goal: a single-payer system. During the 2008 presidential campaign, former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama’s healthcare proposals: “I think while someday we may end up with a single-payer system, it's clear that we're not going to do it all at once, so I think both candidates' health care plans are a big step forward." As Mr. Elder points out: “In other words, Obamacare was just a steppingstone along the path,” noting it “was intended to fail.” It’s now up to Republicans to chart a new course.

Greg Ip at The Wall Street Journal writes on the insidious “myth of Trump’s do-nothing presidency.” As Ip notes, “(t)o gauge a president’s impact you have to go beyond the laws he signs to the vast authority he wields through departments and agencies that apply the law. On that score, Mr. Trump is on track to do a lot.” According to Sofie Miller of George Washington University’s Regulatory Studies Center, “(t)he latest update on regulatory actions released last week by the White House Office of Management and Budget contained 1,731 preliminary, proposed or final rules, down 40% from its peak under Mr. Obama in 2011 and a 17-year low.”
------------
In USA Today, Joseph Murray argues President Trump’s military transgender ban helps protect military readiness – that with “North Korea, Syria and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria posing serious threats, the U.S. military needs to be focused on defeating these enemies and not locker rooms, restrooms and re-assignment surgeries.”
------------
Emily Jashinsky in the Washington Examiner looks at a Military Times/Institute for Veterans and Military Families poll, which reported more than three-to-one service members were against an Obama-era policy to allow transgender individuals from serving openly in the military, with 41 percent saying it hurt military readiness, and only 12 percent saying it helped.

Developing: Pakistani IT Specialist’s Brother Held Meeting at Obama White House for Several Hours

Democrats are scrambling over the recent activity surrounding the Muslim Band of Brothers who worked for the DNC over the past few years as IT Specialists. This story must be really big due to the fact that the liberal mainstream media has not reported on it.
There is a complete media blackout on the story! Now we know why!

The fake news media cable networks have completely shut down coverage on one of the biggest scandals from the Democrat Party since former DNC worker Seth Rich was murdered.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz employed Pakistani IT staffers and brothers who were paid over $4 million dollars over the course of their employment even though they were accused of a cyber-security breach.

Imran Awan was arrested as he attempted to flee the U.S. after wiring approximately $300,000 to Pakistan. Fox News is the only cable network covering this huge scandal. When Imran Awan was arrested he was carrying ....

CIA Analyst: China Poses a Greater Threat than Russia

A senior CIA analyst has offered a rare public glimpse into American intelligence analysis of China. Michael Collins, deputy assistant director and head of the agency’s East Asia mission center, believes more attention should be focused on China and that recent public angst about Russia is distracting America from the threat posed by China.

“There’s been a lot of talk about Russia as a competitor, a country that sees the liberal international order as something they don’t necessarily subscribe to, that is actively engaged in trying to undermine US influence in various areas around the world, and that has [the] capability to do it,” Collins said at a security forum in Aspen, Colorado.

“I would argue China applies to all three of those as well, and increasingly has more power to do far more about that issue.”

Collins noted that while Russia has been creating problems for....

Last night in Youngstown, Ohio, the “town was on fire,” writes Salena Zito, in the New York Post. Preparing for the President’s visit, “By 1 in the afternoon on Tuesday, every main thoroughfare downtown was filled with happy people heading toward the Covelli Centre,” Zito reported. She interviewed Donald Skowron, a retired police officer, who said he was “very happy with the president’s performance so far,” and Dave Torrance who said the president is “doing the right things.” She offers insights into how the President connects with working class voters, and how he is offering them hope that once again, the American dream is alive.
