What Is The Prerequisite To Killing People Who Disagree With You?

  1. Be careful with that question. In 1936, even 1938, maybe later, if someone had shot Hitler, they would have been considered a murderer, assassin, by the whole world. Instead, millions of people were murdered in his name. Same with Stalin, save that throughout his whole life, right until his party murdered him, anyone who killed him would have been considered an international criminal. When is it right to kill a dictator? That depends completely on who does the judging. The world, in general, is not a very good judge. Nor is history. Consider even Attilla the Hun.

On a personal level, it comes down to threat, threat avoidance, and... all else failing. If I had the health, I would be out of this country though. That's just the way of it. Even with as techy as things have gotten, it is not that difficult, with a few well placed calls and contacts to be everywhere and nowhere all at once. And, that is exactly what I would do. I don't see much political hope. But I am stuck. So...

  2. Oh, and some leaders who should not have been mistreated, and murdered, that castigated by history, were. Vlad, for example.
