Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.

MOTUS’ Special Twilight Nocturne Lounge Event: Benefit Concert for Gerard
MOTUS’ Special Twilight Nocturne Lounge Event: Benefit Concert for Gerard
Welcome to a special edition of my wildly popular, Twilight Nocturne Lounge. Tonight we are holding a Special Benefit Concert in honor of and to raise money for Gerard Van der Leun, publisher of American Digest, Literary Genius, “Blog Royalty,” and very special friend of Team-MOTUS and Team-Dewey.
I was even able to get Lady M to lend a hand! She’s always pretty cooperative when we play hide and seek with the Cheetos.
After the photo-op, she cleared out her entire East closet to give me room to hold this event (plus I think she’s planning on getting an entirely new winter wardrobe – due to laundry and dry cleaning “shrinkage”- IYKWIM.)

FOUND: Investigators Say They Have Recovered Lois Lerner’s ‘Missing’ Emails
On Friday, the U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) reported to several Congressional committees that many of the allegedly “missing” emails to and from former IRS official Lois Lerner have been recovered.
Lois Lerner remains at the heart of the IRS scandal for her having overseen the IRS’ tax-exempt division that designated nonprofit statuses. Between the approximate years of 2010 to 2013, Lerner’s division harassed and suppressed the political activities of blossoming Tea Party and conservative nonprofit groups that sought to make a difference. The IRS spent years denying nonprofit statuses for conservative nonprofits while allowing left-leaning nonprofits no such scrutiny.
The IRS made continued requests in their investigations of Tea Party groups by asking for membership rosters, emails, copies of social media postings and making chilling requests such as demanding to know who were members, what was discussed at meetings, what kind of reading material was common amongst members and other intrusive measures to ascertain and obstruct the nature of nonprofit activity.
Lerner had been embroiled in controversy as Congressional investigators have sought emails sent within these years. However, Lerner maintained that she suffered a computer crash and that the “missing” emails were irretrievable.
While government officials have maintained that Lerner’s harddrive with the emails was irretrievable, they also soon revealed that they had “misplaced” the harddrive, thus prohibiting outside technicians to try and recover the emails.

What Will You Be Doing For The Riots?
I will be inside re-playing Fallout 3.
My gas tank is full, I have plenty of food, water, and ammunition.
I have 2 fully charged 12 volt marine batteries and solar panels if the electricity goes out.
While Rome burns, I will be fiddling with Nuka-Cola and a wide array of weapons to deal with super mutants and the enclave.
Obama’s Amnesty Speech Will Result in More Children Being Raped by Illegal Aliens
While Obama focused tonight’s much anticipated (and feared)
amnesty speech on protecting from deportation only those who were brought here illegally as children, and on the parents of the millions of this nation’s so-called ‘anchor babies,’ in reality…none of those folks were ever going to be deported anyway.
However, the White House address was really aimed at those who have yet to make the illegal journey to the United States, which is why the Obama administration asked CBS, NBC and ABC not to carry the prime time speech (the Spanish language network Univision, did carry it).
Though Obama included promises of strengthening the Border Patrol and deporting dangerous foreign criminals, in reality, he has had nearly six years to do both and has never made any serious effort to do either. In fact, Obama released 36,000...

The Emperor Of The United States Speaks Tonight Of His Amnesty Of Illegal Aliens...
Starting next month, we begin flying illegal aliens into the United States at taxpayers expense.
This is insanity.
Blatant racial hypocrisy: Death penalty off the table for black attackers charged in murder of white officer
The nation is walking on eggshells and the governor of Missouri
has declared a state of emergency as we await the ruling from a Grand Jury hearing regarding the shooting death of Michael Brown by Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson. It seems that the premise of our judicial system and individual rights of “innocent until proven guilty” has no standing in this case. And if the evidence is proven to support charges not being brought against Officer Wilson, why is it that we must fear riots? Recent pictures of the city of Ferguson make it look like folks are preparing for a hurricane.
However, in the midst of all this, there’s another interesting case, which clearly demonstrates the hypocrisy surrounding Ferguson.
As reported by Fox News “U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has taken the death penalty off the table for four people charged in the gang-related slaying of a reserve Virginia police officer. Federal prosecutors said Friday that the four co-defendants will instead face the possibility of life in prison for their alleged role in the killing of Capt. Kevin Quick.”
“The 45-year-old Quick of Waynesboro was reported missing Feb. 1. His body was found several days later in Goochland County west of Richmond. The Daily Progress reports that authorities say the three siblings and another man charged all belong to the Bloods gang set 99 Goon Syndikate. The four charged in May are...

22 Times President Obama Said He Couldn’t Ignore or Create His Own Immigration Law
With the White House poised to grant executive amnesty any day now despite the American people’s staunch opposition, on Sunday President Obama was asked about the many, many statements he made in the past about his inability to unilaterally change or ignore immigration law. His response was astonishingly brazen: “Actually, my position hasn’t changed. When I was talking to the advocates, their interest was in me, through executive action, duplicating the legislation that was stalled in Congress.”
This is a flagrant untruth: “In fact, most of the questions that were posed to the president over the past several years were about the very thing that he is expected to announce within a matter of days,” reported The New York Times. “[T]he questions actually specifically addressed the sorts of actions that he is contemplating now,” The Washington Post’s Fact Checkeragreed, awarding President Obama the rare “Upside-Down Pinocchio,” which signifies “a major-league flip-flop.” Even FactCheck.org piled on.
President Obama is once again trying to mislead Americans, but he can’t run from what he’s said over and over (and over) again. Not only are Americans not stupid – they can read:

President Obama is once again trying to mislead Americans, but he can’t run from what he’s said over and over (and over) again. Not only are Americans not stupid – they can read:
1. “I take the Constitution very seriously. The biggest problems that we’re facing right now have to do with [the president] trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all. And that’s what I intend to reverse when I’m President of the United States of America.” (3/31/08)
2. “We’ve got a government designed by the Founders so that there’d be checks and balances. You don’t want a president who’s too powerful or a Congress that’s too powerful or a court that’s too powerful. Everybody’s got their own role. Congress’s job is to pass legislation. The president can veto it or he can sign it. … I believe in the Constitution and I will obey the Constitution of the United States. We're not going to use signing statements as a way of doing an end-run around Congress.” (5/19/08)
3. “Comprehensive reform, that's how we're going to solve this problem. … Anybody who tells you it's going to be easy or that I can wave a magic wand and make it happen hasn't been paying attention to how this town works.” (5/5/10)
4. “[T]here are those in the immigrants’ rights community who have argued passionately that we should simply provide those who are [here] illegally with legal status, or at least ignore the laws on the books and put an end to deportation until we have better laws. ... I believe such an indiscriminate approach would be both unwise and unfair. It would suggest to those thinking about coming here illegally that there will be no repercussions for such a decision. And this could lead to a surge in more illegal immigration. And it would also ignore the millions of people around the world who are waiting in line to come here legally. Ultimately, our nation, like all nations, has the right and obligation to control its borders and set laws for residency and citizenship. And no matter how decent they are, no matter their reasons, the 11 million who broke these laws should be held accountable.” (7/1/10)
5. “I do have an obligation to make sure that I am following some of the rules. I can't simply ignore...
