Since I'm retired now, I don't have to read resumes and interview college students. What the post about Berkeley and SF High School students is saying is what we've been learning from all Ivy League college stories. Do NOT interview students from those schools without lots more info. Do NOT think they're going to be better than any other unknown grad from someplace else.
ReplyDeleteSiGraybeard I am retired now also. Me and my wife met in college in the early 70s. We found issues when business moved us to NoVa from CA in the 90s and the HS was screwed up for our sons. We had to tutor our sons to teach them properly. The teachers, admin, or school board would not fix the problems. Our sons decided on Trade Schools when the each graduated and were earning well over 6 figures in 5 years.
