President Donald Trump announced Saturday at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that he will be signing an executive order protecting free speech on college campuses.

The president invited Hayden Williams, a conservative activist with The Leadership Institute, to speak on the CPAC stage. Williams was assaulted last month while tabling for Turning Point USA at University of California, Berkeley, but promised that students would continue to defend the president so long as he defended them. “These students do it because they have a love of our nation and freedom and, frankly, a love for you Mr. President,” Williams said of conservative activists on campuses.

Trump encouraged Williams to sue his attacker and UC Berkeley and revealed that he is planning to sign an executive order banning federal aid to colleges and universities that do not protect students’ speech.

“Today I am proud to announce that I will be very soon signing an executive order requiring colleges and universities to support free speech if they want federal resources,” Trump declared.

The UK knife-wave continues unabated. Police chief says knife crime spate is “national emergency.” The latest slaughter comes less than a week after 20-year-old Ché Morrison was stabbed to death outside Ilford train station in east London.

A total of 97 stabbings and a staggering 269 knife related incidents have been reported in Birmingham since January. While London continues to constantly hit headlines with its knife crime epidemic, the spotlight has recently shifting to the midlands, after the region began to give the Capital a run for its money. Last year was London’s most bloodthirsty, when more than 100 fatal stabbings hit headlines, triggering calls on Mayor Sadiq Khan to step in and take the tragic issue.

THE leader of an anti-knife campaign group has demanded politicians re-evaluate how they are dealing with the soaring knife crime epidemic in the UK.

Recent figures have shown that the UK has suffered its highest number of fatal stabbings since records began in 1947 and could continue to rise according to the founder of Anti-Knife UK. Anti-Knife UK is a nationwide campaign group aiming to reduce the amount of violent crime across the country which has reached critical levels in the last few years. Speaking to Express.co.uk, founder of Anti-Knife UK, Danny O’Brien has warned politicians need to act quickly to help solve the problem and also criticised London Mayor, Sadiq Khan.

Washington insiders have long speculated that special counsel Robert Mueller and the federal Southern District of New York must have had some pretty powerful evidence against Michael Cohen for him to turn so harshly against his former employer, President Donald Trump.

Turns out they may have been spot-on.

Prior to this week, few Americans had heard Lynne Patton’s name, let alone who knew who she was. Her identity was made known during the Democrat-run circus on Capitol Hill earlier this week involving “testimony” by POTUS Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, in which he lambasted the president as racist, bigoted, a tax cheat, and an all-around lousy person, according to The Gateway Pundit.

Ho-hum, nothing new there.

But what Patton, who is black and was hired years ago by the Trump family (she is now a ranking HUD official), knows about Cohen and his transformation into No. 1 Trump basher is more than intriguing, not that the “mainstream” media (MSM) will report it.

In a January Facebook post addressed, “Dear haters,” that didn’t get much attention at the time, Patton revealed that the reason why Cohen has turned so hard against the president: Mueller and his team threatened to put Cohen’s wife behind bars for 30 years, tying her to his crimes.

Patton wrote:

Many of you may already know that I considered Michael Cohen to be one of my very best friends. Countless people can confirm that we were virtually inseparable during my employment at Trump – and that he is, single-handedly – responsible for introducing me to the Trump family and effectively changing my entire life. I would be lying if I didn’t admit that my heart still breaks for him and for his family, with whom I had grown extremely close.

Continuing, Patton added that she “can personally confirm that the ONLY reason Michael Cohen ‘turned on’ the President of the United States is because Mueller threatened to throw his wife in jail for up to 30 years. Period.”

She explained that Cohen’s wife is the “co-guarantor” of a $20 million personal loan that Mueller and his team discovered that Michael secured in 2015 after falsely inflating the value of his tax medallions. The deal “effectively” made his wife “part & panel to the federal charge of ‘Making False Statements to a Financial Institution,’” a charge to which Michael Cohen pleaded guilty.
