Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Sowell is right, as usual. After all, Barry set out to "fundamentally transform" the entire country. Into what he never said plainly. But it should be clear to the most casual observer he meant Greece at best and Cuba at worst. Thanks to Barry's operational naivete and incompetence it now seems he will fail in his larger ambitions. And Reagan already proved the right growth policies can turn around a lousy economy. Now all we need is an actual political party out of which a Reagan might arise. Sigh.
