Building The Hoover Dam


Hoover Dam penstocks and outlet pipes such as this one were fabricated from 45,000 tons of steel and welded into nearly three miles of pipe varying from 8.5-30ft (2.6-9m) in diameter.

    Sadly Detroit in 2013 is what seem to project 21st century......

  2. Great photo; bu Ohhhh, I get vertigo just looking it. Yikes! Those guy in the pic have 'you know whats' made of steel. I could not have been part of that group for all the money in the world.
