The man who was mistakenly taken for dead passed out after drinking too much, local Khasanskiye Vesti newspaper reported Wednesday. However, it is not clear when exactly the incident took place. Khasanky Region is a coastal area in Russia’s Far East, which is home to some 35,000 people scattered over the territory of 4,100 square kilometers.

While I have no faith in our media or medical, I have less faith in theirs. Russia has never joined the 20th, let alone 21st, century. No matter how many revolts, they are still living, essentially, under tzarist rule. The more it has changed, the more it has stayed the same. The only real difference is that, whether more bureaucratic under communism, or emperor driven as now, it is no longer managed by bloodlines. The rest remains pretty much the same, though can be slightly better or worse.
ReplyDeleteTheir push to bring virtue to men has failed so completely they deny the many problems. They have destroyed any virtue their people had, completely broken the back of their independence, and produced... essentially, what our special snowflakes are becoming. Only, when the realization hits that no government can or will help, and it has stolen everything of value, alcohol (or whatever, to include antifreeze and else if that is all that is available), seems the way. In America it will most likely be the cheaper of drugs. Will be? I am thinking "is".
Bleh.
