ReplyDeleteOh, by the way? If the reel is in real time, it took him about four seconds from start to no bounce. You can figure how high he went. I'd have to crack books, for the formulas. The short way is time up equals time down, acceleration is gravity... his mass won't really matter (if needed, just add average of, say, 150 translated to metric) and air resistance is negligible (or that is how I would put it). So, two seconds falling at 9.8m/s^2?... gah... been too long. Still, you CAN figure how high he went. That won't guarantee death though. People have broken their necks falling a few feet (ropes have helped... or hurt?... but not required), others have fallen from heights greater than beyond terminal velocity (parachuters and the like), having their devices fail, and lived. So... Still, yeah... I'm voting dead.
