Victor Davis Hanson: Former intelligence chiefs fit perfectly into media advocacy culture

Evil minds that plot destruction,
Sorcerers of death's construction..
Former FBI Director James Comey and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper have lots of things in common.
One, they ran the nation’s key intelligence and investigatory agencies under former President Barack Obama. They were deeply involved in the “Russian collusion” hoax. And they participated in the surveillance of the Trump campaign and transition.

Comey and McCabe both signed applications for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrants requesting surveillance on Trump campaign aide Carter Page. A report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz criticized Comey and McCabe’s FBI for falsehoods and misrepresentations during its investigation of the Donald Trump campaign.

Clapper, Brennan and the FBI helped to disseminate the fallacious Steele dossier to the press and among government agencies.

Two, Comey, McCabe, Brennan and Clapper have all lied either under oath or in the public sphere.

Horowitz has said that he referred Comey for criminal prosecution for leaking classified memos he wrote about his confidential conversations with the president, but the Justice Department did not pursue charges. Comey signed FISA warrant applications that the inspector general has determined were misleading at best and at worst simply flat-out wrong.

In testimony before the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees, there were 245 occasions on which Comey claimed he couldn’t remember details or couldn’t answer questions.

Comey did not tell the truth when he said the Steele dossier was not the prime evidence that he submitted to the FISA court. He also lied about when he was briefed on the dossier.

McCabe was given a criminal referral for lying to federal investigators. His story about conspiring to catch Trump on tape in an effort to remove him under the 25th Amendment cannot be reconciled with the version of the account told by his apparent partner in...

MUST WATCH: Woman Loses Her Mind, Violently Attacks Reporter Over Impeachment

A disgruntled impeachment supporter attacked a journalist last night during an impeachment protest in Austin.

On December 17, 2019, Infowars reporter Savanah Hernandez went to an impeachment rally in front of the Austin city hall to interview demonstrators on why they’re supporting Trump’s impeachment.

She questioned one female demonstrator holding a “Dump Trump” protest sign on her opposition to Trump.

The protestor said, Trump “is on audiotape saying that he grabs people by the p****,” trying to rationalize the false rape allegations against Trump.

She then added, “Our president said that.”

Hernandez followed up by asking, “Did he say that while he was president?”

The protester responded, “It doesn’t matter.”

Annoyed, the demonstrator asked Hernandez, “Could you move that [microphone] three inches away from me?

However, the reporter said “if you want to speak to me into the microphone I need to put it that close to your face to hear it.”

The protester then said, “I don’t want to speak to you” and pointed out that she has a “really bad temper” after Hernandez continued questioning her.

Hernandez commented, “I’m still waiting for you to Google the facts you can’t seem to find.”

This was too much for the protester.

She then proceeded to charge at Hernandez and began shoving her.

Hernandez later posted a video of this attack.

She tweeted, “Tried to have a civil debate with some impeachment protesters here in Austin… I was attacked when a protester got upset because she couldn’t find facts on Google to back up her fake Trump-rape allegations. #DemocratsAreDestroyingAmerica #ImpeachmentEve”
This event was part of a larger set of Trump impeachment rallies held across the nation before the House impeachment vote that...

The 9 Most Terrifying Moments from the Democrat Debate:

Here are the nine most terrifying moments from Thursday night’s Democrat debate. You can basically sum things up this way: if the Democrats ever recapture power, illegal aliens will have more rights than American citizens.

Joe “Burisma” Biden

Joe Biden promises to kill “hundreds of thousands of blue-collar jobs” as a sacrifice to the gods of the Climate Change hoax:
Moderator: As president, would you be willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers in the interest of transitioning to that greener economy?

Biden: The answer is yes. The answer is yes because the opportunity — the opportunity for those workers to transition to high-paying jobs, as Tom said, is real.

This is fantasy. It’s unicorn stuff. Biden and Obama already tried this. Remember Solyndra — that $500 gajillion debacle?

Trump is finally getting these guys back to work, finally turning this country and all its natural resources into an energy exporter, and this aging lunatic wants to take us back into the Dark Ages of sun and wind power, and then turn blue-collar guys into computer coders.

And let’s not forget Biden is an idiot. With that answer, he just wrote Trump’s Rust Belt ads.

Andrew “I’m Over Here” Yang

What craziness is this?:

Well, first, we should obviously be paying to relocate Americans away from places that are hit by climate change. … Part of my plan is literally called “Move People to Higher Ground” because that’s what we need to do. And that’s literal and figurative.
Oh, joy, the government’s going to relocate us for “our own good.” And I’m sure it won’t all start with a Trail of Tears to remove Republican voters from swing states.

Demographics is destiny!

Bernie “Pull My Finger” Sanders

The Jew-hater strikes again:

We must understand that right now in Israel we have leadership under Netanyahu, who has recently, as you know, been indicted for bribery, who, in my view, is a racist — what we need is a level playing field in terms of the Middle East, which addresses the terrible crisis in Gaza, where 60 percent or 70 percent of the young people are unemployed.

So we’re going to relocate Americans for their own good and destroy blue-collar jobs, but the Jew-haters in Gaza are going to stay put and President Get Off My Lawn’s going to create jobs for them.

Joe “Burisma” Biden

Stop when any of this sounds familiar:

Here you have 160 million people who negotiated their healthcare plans with their employer, like many of you have. You may or may not like it. If you don’t like it, you can move into the public option that I propose in my plan. But if you like it, you shouldn’t have — you shouldn’t have Washington dictating to you [that] you cannot keep the plan you have.

The same Obama-Biden administration that has already serially lied to us about being able to keep our insurance is shamelessly getting the If You Like It, You Can Keep It band back...

Impeachment In A Nutshell....

Papadopoulos cryptic response after Italian official is 80% sure missing professor Mifsud, who sparked Russia probe, is dead

George Papadopoulos — a low-level former 2016 Trump campaign aide — denied reports suggesting that Maltese professor, Joseph Mifsud, is dead.

“Lil Joey Mifsud is not sleeping with the fishes. More to come,” Papadopoulos tweeted in response to rumors that his former European contact had died.

Italian newspaper il Giornale sparked the rumors of Mifsud’s death by speculating on Dec. 20:
“There has been no trace of Mifsud since 31 October 2017 and now, as highlighted on InsideOver, a tragic suspect is winding through the corridors of the Agrigento court: Mifsud may be dead.
A hypothesis that sources of the prosecutor believe “80%” true: “The chances that he died confirm by the court are very high.”

Joseph Mifsud, who’s originally from Malta, was a professor at the London Academy of Diplomacy. Before he disappeared in late-2017, he was reportedly teaching at a private university in Rome.

Mifsud mysteriously vanished after his name was raised in connection with Robert Mueller’s failed “Russia-collusion” investigation.

In May 2016, George Papadopoulos — then a low-level Trump campaign aide — casually spouted off a self-aggrandizing lie in a London bar that Mifsud had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton.

Papadopoulos later confessed that he lied, but his boast was one of the triggers that led to the Obama FBI’s fruitless investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign.

In September 2018, Papadopoulos pled guilty to lying to the FBI when he bragged that his European contact (Joseph Mifsud) “had dirt” on Hillary. Papadopoulos allegedly used that lie as leverage to raise his profile inside the 2016 Trump presidential campaign.

Papadopoulos was sentenced to 14 days in jail for lying to the FBI. President Trump reacted by trashing Mueller for wasting $28 million in taxpayer money to sentence Papadopoulos — a low-level former campaign aide — to 14 days in jail.

Legal experts say the miniscule 14-day jail sentence was a damning indictment of what a colossal waste of time and money Mueller’s “Russia collusion” investigation...

Democrats Be Like:

Nothing Is Real About Them, They Are False, Duplicitous, Bad Actors, And Just Plain Bad Liars.

This is What Happens When You Have A Fawning Press That Will Support And Defend ANYTHING The Democrats Do, And Attack And Criticize ANYTHING The Republicans Do.

Fuck The Fake Media.

New CNN Poll Finds Americans LOVE Trump’s Economy

A new CNN poll has found that 76 percent of Americans believe the economy is either “very or somewhat good”–the highest amount since 2001, when 80 percent felt the same way, the Daily Caller reports.

The number is up nine points since last year, when 67 percent of those surveyed approved of the economy.

The poll was conducted from December 12-15–in the middle of the Democrats’ sham impeachment efforts.

A whopping 97 percent of Republicans believe the economy is doing well, 75 percent of independents and even 62 percent of Democrats.

Democrats’ positive view of the economy is up 15 points from August of this year, when only 47 percent said it was in good shape.

The great news doesn’t stop there, though.

CNN writes:

Looking ahead, nearly 7 in 10 expect the economy to be in good shape a year from now (68%), the best outlook in CNN polling since December 2003. The new finding includes 63% who say things are good now and will continue to be good next year, while just 9% say they economy is currently good but will turn south in 2020.

Liberal actor Pierce Brosnan is also pleased with the Trump economy, and–to the surprise of many–recently praised the president for his handling of the economy.

In an interview with ITK, Brosnan said, “I think what he’s done for the economy is very good.”

“People are working, and that’s a step in the right direction. This country is part of my life,” he continued. “I’m an American citizen. I love America and America’s been very good to me. And I want to see happiness come...

Report: Prosecutor John Durham Looking into Ex-CIA Director Brennan’s Role in Russia Hoax

The federal prosecutor probing the origins of the Russia-collusion hoax has requested “emails, call logs and other documents” from John Brennan, former President Barack Obama’s CIA director turned NBC and MSNBC contributor, the New York Times reported Thursday.

Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor charged with conducting the review into the origins of the Russia collusion probe, “wants to learn what Mr. Brennan told other officials, including the former FBI director James B. Comey, about his and the C.I.A.’s views of a notorious dossier of assertions about Russia and Trump associates,” the Times noted, adding:
Mr. Durham’s pursuit of Mr. Brennan’s records is certain to add to accusations that Mr. Trump is using the Justice Department to go after his perceived enemies. The president has long attacked Mr. Brennan as part of his narrative about a so-called deep state cabal of Obama administration officials who tried to sabotage his campaign, and Mr. Trump has held out Mr. Durham’s investigation as a potential avenue for proving those claims.
Brennan is considered an ardent critic of the Trump administration.

Durham is also investigating whether Brennan “privately contradicted his public comments, including May 2017 testimony to Congress, about both the dossier and about any debate among the intelligence agencies over their conclusions on Russia’s interference,” the Times learned.

In October, Brennan told NBC News that Durham had expressed an interest in interviewing “a number of current and former intelligence officials involved in examining Russia’s effort to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, including former CIA Director John Brennan and former director of national intelligence James Clapper.”

At the time, NBC News reported that U.S. Attorney General William Barr had significantly expanded Durham’s review into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax investigation after “finding something significant,” without...

Trump Administration Aims to Make Fewer Criminal Aliens Eligible for Asylum

The Trump administration is proposing to bar foreign nationals convicted of drunk driving, gang-related crime, illegal reentry, and other illicit activity from winning asylum protection in the United States.

The Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced a proposal to expand the crimes that would disqualify a migrant from claiming protected status in the U.S.—marking the latest action by the White House to control the wave of asylum applications at the southern border. Despite a drop in border apprehensions, the federal government is still inundated with a backlog of asylum cases.

Those convicted of a felony under state or federal law, human smuggling or harboring, illegal reentry into the country, criminal street gang activity, driving under the influence, domestic abuse, identity fraud, and other crimes would not be eligible for asylum in the U.S. under the amendments.

“The seven proposed bars would be in addition to the existing mandatory bars in the [Immigration and Nationality Act] and its implementing regulations, such as those relating to the persecution of others, convictions for particularly serious crimes, commission of serious nonpolitical crimes, security threats, terrorist activity, and firm resettlement in another country,” reads the DOJ and DHS press release.

The proposed amendments, which must go through a comment period before being implemented, also seek to eliminate a requirement that immigration judges must reconsider some asylum denials.

The expansion of disqualifying crimes, along with the removal of many opportunities to appeal denials, allows the administration to more quickly process asylum applications. Every month, thousands upon thousands of migrants from Central America and elsewhere around the world reach the U.S.-Mexico border and lodge asylum claims.

The wave of applications has proven an enormous task for the Executive Office for Immigration Review. The U.S. immigration court system’s backlog of active cases surpassed 1 million by the end of August, an indication of how unprepared the government was at handling such a large docket of applications.

President Donald Trump, who has made immigration enforcement a major pillar of his White House agenda, has implemented policies aimed at curbing the flow of migrants. The administration has, for example, initiated a rule known asxpansion of disqualifying crimes, along with the removal of many opportunities to appeal denials, allows the administration to more quickly process asylum applications. Secretary Hillary Clinton and the Deep State: A RICO Criminal Conspiracy

We who elected President Trump understood our elected officials and the Deep State were sandbagging Trump and self-dealing public funds. It was no secret that President Trump is no angel, unpresidential, blunt, and crude, and a disruptor. Trump was hired to drain the swamp.

I watched this kabuki theater unfold over the last several years. Through my eyes as a shopworn gumshoe, I will explain what is happening. My investigative curiosity was first piqued by the ATF Fast and Furious scandal and continues through the recent House impeachment show trial. There is a common element running through all of these cons — the actions of an organized crime conspiracy. A group of people either acting alone or in concert with others committed crimes with a common purpose - a criminal enterprise as described in "CRIMINAL RICO: 18 USC. §§1961-1968 A Manual For Federal Prosecutors."

The players acted together – in the usurpation of power, the abuse of power by public officials, bribery, thefts by fraud including federal funds, money laundering, perjury and the obstruction of justice, the violations of fundamental of civil rights, aided and abetted in the commission of these crimes and or to conceal these crimes. Criminals will lie and can't keep their lies straight. Their methods and behaviors are the same, whether engaging in street crimes or elaborate white-collar financial schemes. The only difference is when more money is involved, the perps are more adept in concealing, covering up their sins, and hiding where the money went. Many of these scandals are well known to the American Thinker readers. I will focus my comments on Hillary's home brew sever and the Clinton Foundation as an example of how RICO can be used to prosecute the players.

FBI Director James Comey indicted Hillary Clinton for her home brew server at his press conference. Comey then egregiously concluded that there was no evidence of criminal intent purportedly “required” to prosecute. Comey bastardized the Federal Espionage Act in absolving Hillary Clinton. FBI's investigation of Clinton's emails was low-balled. There was never a real...

teve Bannon: Trump is an “existential threat to the Democratic Party,” which is why they “hate” him

“He’ll be exonerated by the Senate in front of the American people and the world,” Steve Bannon, former Trump White House chief strategist said on FOX Business’ “Trish Regan Primetime” on Thursday. “And then in November, he’ll be vindicated at the ballot box.” “It’s important for the history, the country, that Trump demand a real impeachment trial with witnesses . . . it’s important for the people that voted for President Trump, they believe in him. He didn’t...

Earth's Magnetic North Pole Is Moving Faster Than Ever, Leaving Scientists Baffled

Earth’s magnetic north pole is moving at unprecedented speeds and scientists are still unsure of why this is the case.

What makes these recent changes so interesting is the sheer speed at which they are occurring.

Some fear that the rapid movement of the magnetic north pole could cause problems for Global Positioning Systems (GPS), military operations, airliners, and other navigation systems that rely on pinpointing where precisely the pole is located.

Migratory animals such as birds, butterflies, and whales also use the magnetic field for directions.

The latest report from NOAA, the “World Magnetic Model” for 2020, shows the pole rapidly speeding in the direction of Siberia. However, the trajectory of the pole will likely change.

NGA in partnership with @NOAA and the @BritGeoSurvey, has released the World Magnetic Model 2020 update, providing more precise navigational data for all military and civilian planes, ships, submarines and GPS units.

NOAA’s National Centres for Environmental Information explained:

“Since its first formal discovery in 1831, the north magnetic pole has travelled around 1,400 miles (2,250 km).

This wandering has been generally quite slow, allowing scientists to keep track of its position fairly easily.”

As recently as 2000, the magnetic North Pole was clocked at moving 6.2 miles per year toward Northern Russia, but data for the next two decades shows the average rate suddenly increasing to roughly 34 miles per year in the same direction, while the latest readings in 2019 show it slightly decreasing to about 31 miles per year.

The World Magnetic Model predicts the average speed will slow down to roughly 25 miles per year from 2020 to 2025.

“The WMM2020 forecasts that the northern magnetic pole will continue drifting toward Russia, although at a slowly decreasing speed—down to about 40 km per year compared to the average speed of 55 km over the past twenty years.”

For the first time in recorded history, the pole has even passed by the Greenwich meridian—the imaginary line used to indicate 0° longitude and determine time zones.

Geomagnetic specialist Ciaran Beggan from the British Geological Survey (BGS) told the Financial Times:

“The movement since the 1990s is much faster than at any time for at least four centuries.

We really don’t know much about the changes in the core that’s driving it.”

The team of researchers that maintain the World Magnetic Model has updated it and released it a year ahead of schedule. The newly updated model shows the magnetic north pole moving away from Canada and toward Siberia https://buff.ly/2PWlyh1

The new model also confirms that Earth’s magnetic field is weakening. If this continues, scientists say the field could collapse entirely and flip polarity—changing magnetic north to south and vice versa—and the consequences could be dire for...
