Expert Says U.S. is on the Brink of “Mass Civil Unrest”

Has friends on Capitol Hill concerned about violence.
An expert with the United States Studies Centre says that America is on the brink of “mass civil unrest” that threatens to emerge out of anti-lockdown protests now taking place nationwide.

Demonstrations against coronavirus stay-at-home measures have exploded across the country over the last week after President Trump encouraged them on social media. The National Guard has been called out in some areas to deal with potential disorder.

Speaking to Sky News Australia, James Brown, a former Australian Army officer who commanded a cavalry troop in southern Iraq, said that the very specific mentality of Americans made them much more likely to rebel against lockdown measures compared to citizens of other countries.

“There is that part of the US political psyche that takes rights to a complete extreme,” said Brown, adding that “mass civil unrest” is an ever present possibility due to Americans sharing a “deep independent streak that believes the government is a nice-to-have not a must-have.”

The host of the show opined that if “anarchy” were to break out across the United States, “the government can’t bring the people to heel” due to the Second Amendment.

Brown said he had friends on Capitol Hill who were very worried about mass social disorder and a “gun battle on the streets.”

  1. Fear. And more fear, means more government. The Swamp elite love when The People are afraid.
Many worse viruses have encompassed the globe even just in the past several decades and we lost no rights, did not shut down our economy, and then leave the bill for our ‘rescue’ for our posterity to pay.
This virus scare is a dream come true for the Leftists and their power/money grabs over The People.
The People who fought and risked probabilities of death far higher than some small fraction of one percent and paid the ultimate price to defend our freedom and our lives are spinning in their hallowed graves.
We must get our rights back and start working again else we will leave our posterity only a massive, dream-breaking debt.

  3. The government has been operating under the illusion that they have the peoples consent to be governed.
    That situation is changing rapidly.
When it comes right down to it, the government couldn't do a damn thing about it if even a small minority of people decided they had had enough.
They are massively outnumbered and massively outgunned if it ever came to that and they are extremely aware of those two facts.

The interviewee in this article, he gets it, too. 'Cuz he's seen it.
What you're seeing on the newsnow? That's it.
TPTB are right to be nervous. WE know their names, where they live, what they've done.
WE THE PEOPLE are tired of this charade.

Re-read that again, here, I'll remove the hyperbole for you:

"There is that part of the US that believes the government is a nice-to-have not a must-have.”

The elected officials that still have a brain, are starting to see. Those pushing even harder do so for good reason - and that should tell you who we need to go after first.
The time to settle this at the ballot box or on the soap box has passed genyleman. The other side IS making their move RIGHT HERE AND NOW. THIS IS THE BALLOON GOING UP!
