What's It All About?

  1. So very true. I do not wear a mask. Still hunting for one in Canada with a slogan I can get behind. (For when they bring out the militia). However, I do wear a scarf almost always, certainly when the temp drops. Those scarves work just fine; I have gotten rather saucy when in unpleasant mask territory; with Karen types. I simply refuse to engage with the crazies.

The other day I talked outside in lineup with a masked lady, nice convo actually. The moment I was in the bank she "reported"/complained to the "guard" outside. I said almost nothing, did not engage. However I tucked my flimsy silk scarf under the bridge of my glasses so it draped down my face. Turned to the woman and sweetly asked, (as I usually do), "Does this little slip of silk hanging off my nose make you feel any better?"

"Well you have to obey the rules. Dr. Henry says to wear them." By then I had simply nodded rather condescendingly and turned my back on her. I remember when standing in line was an opportunity for strangers to chat. Now they all play with their cells, check their covid apps, run out of oxygen. Maybe it is because I don't have the mask on?

Even my son in law, whom I love to pieces, is possibly the smartest man I know, said to me yesterday, "Well Dr. Henry says we should." This was in regards to my walking 30 feet from my car into the pool! Suddenly my grandson needed me so that ended the conversation.

These folks have no concept of the war they are in; that they are on a battlefield. That they are disposable pawns in a multi dimensional war being waged upon humanity and the planet we call home. Say that to them and watch the reaction as they come at you with the straight jacket and meds.
