New Study Shows Mask Mandates Had Zero Effect in Florida or Nationwide, But the Lie Continues

Obviously, no amount of evidence, data, trends, facts, studies, or science will ever convince most ‘public health officials’ that masks aren’t doing squat to stop the spread of COVID-19. Cases and deaths continue to spike (yes, many of these are super-sensitive PCR test-driven numbers, but still) despite the fact that well over 90% of the country are complying with their absurd mandates. Yet, predictably, the virus keeps going right on virusing, as highly contagious respiratory viruses, unfortunately, tend to do, especially once cold weather hits.

Nevertheless, those of us who are mask skeptics have a difficult chore in front of us. Given that most of the country is under a mask mandate of some form or another, we can point to spikes all day AFTER these mandates were put in place only to have our opponents simply say, “Look how bad it would have been WITHOUT masks!”

It’s a tough argument to counter given the fact that our overlords have sold masking as a low-cost, easy “solution” that’s totally worth it even if they “save one life,” or something (nevermind the health risks - let’s censor docs who talk about those!). So, how DO we prove that things wouldn’t have been worse without masks? One way is to look at data from the few free states remaining.

In Florida, for example, most counties have so far bravely refused to implement mask mandates while others, usually in high population centers, have done so. Justin Hart and the team at Rational Ground (follow them on Twitter here - it’s worth it) just released a comprehensive data analysis of masked vs non-masked counties in the state. A total of 22 of 67 counties in the state have implemented a mask order at some point during the period of May 1 through December 15. It may not sound like many, but these include almost all of Florida’s largest metro areas. To be more than fair, if an area added a mask order at some point during the outbreak, the study’s authors gave a 14 day period to allow time for cases to begin subsiding. “Cases were summed for both mandate and non-mandate jurisdictions and adjusted per 100,000 people for days the mandates were or were not in effect,” wrote the authors, describing the methodology used.

If masks did even close to as advertised, one would expect to see the counties that went maskless to be absolute dumpster fires next to the counties that implemented mandates, right? At the very least, the numbers should favor the masked areas by more than a percentage point or two. So, how did it go? Yep, it was the Mask Cult’s worse nightmare:

“When counties DID have a mandate in effect, there were 667,239 cases over 3,137 days with an average of 23 cases per 100,000 per day. When counties DID NOT have a countywide order, there were 438,687 cases over 12,139 days with an average of 22 cases per 100,000 per day.”

In other words, counties with mask-mandates in place actually did WORSE than those that refused to implement them. (Yeah, color me shocked.) The authors even accounted for population density in their analysis, suggesting that it didn’t have an impact on...

Eric Bolling Says Employees At Fox News Are ‘Nervous’ About Drop In Ratings

According to Sinclair TV’s Eric Bolling, a former host at Fox News, staffers at his previous network are worried by the change in audience numbers in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election.

Speaking at Turning Point USA’s annual Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida, Bolling explained why networks such as Newsmax and One America News Network had surged in popularity after the election on November 3rd.

“Here’s what happened guys, let’s be honest with you… on November 3rd — Fox declared Biden the winner in Arizona. MAGA-world went ballistic, they said ‘I’m not watching Fox News,’ they switched over and they looked and they found Newsmax,” Bolling said.

Bolling then sparked rapturous applause among the TPUSA event attendees when he said that “Fox lost about 40% of their audience. 40%. That’s a big number.” In recent weeks, Fox has disputed such claims, pointing out that while some programs have dropped a third of their viewers since election night, they still still atop the cable news ratings.

Bolling then continued to discuss those who remain at Fox News who are concerned by the growing popularity of competitors such as Newsmax and OAN.

“I have friends still there that say they are very, very nervous about it, they’re sucking wind on it and they don’t know how to turn it around.”

Fox News’ decision on election night to call Arizona for Biden “far before any other outlet” did indeed stir controversy, with the network “drawing the ire of many Trump supporters for other on-air decisions.”

Since election night, Nielsen TV ratings showed that many of Fox News’ programs experienced a severe drop in viewership. Between the dates of November 2nd and November 11th, viewership dropped by 40% for Neil Cavuto, 40% for Bret Baier — who hosted one of the presidential debates between Trump and Biden — 40% for Martha MacCallum, 36% for...

Football Club Demands Fans Who Booed BLM Undergo Re-Education Courses Before Being Allowed Back

Cambridge United football club is demanding fans who booed players taking a knee for Black Lives Matter undergo re-education lessons or face a stadium ban.

Yes, really.

After a handful of fans voiced their displeasure before a December 15 game against Colchester, the club reacted by launching an investigation.

“Each case has been looked at separately,” the club said in a statement. “Conclusions reached range from education and support without any ban through to bans to the end of the season with season tickets refunded.”

“Diversity and inclusion will continue to be at the heart of what we stand for as a football club and we will be making no further comment about the incident.”

According to the Daily Mail, “Other fans have been asked to undertake education around discrimination and equality” before they are allowed to return.”

In other words, fans will have to sit through patronizing lectures about “diversity” and Black Lives Matter and feign agreement or face a stadium ban.

The latest round of BLM insanity began after fans were allowed into stadiums for the first time since the start of the COVID pandemic.

Millwall supporters loudly booed players taking a knee, prompting a wave of...

WTF: Mainstream Media Urges Men to Freeze Sperm Before Getting COVID-19 Vaccine Due to Infertility Concerns

These vaccines do not seem safe.

The fake news media is actually telling men to freeze their sperm before getting a COVID-19 vaccine because it may cause infertility.

The University of Miami is conducting research into the experimental COVID-19 vaccine potentially causing infertility. They are conducting a study to determine whether or not the vaccine has these damaging effects.

“We’re evaluating the sperm parameters and quality before the vaccine and after the vaccine. From the biology of the COVID vaccine we believe it shouldn’t affect fertility but we want to do the study to make sure that man who want to have kids in the future to assure them it’s safe to go ahead and get the vaccine,” said Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, a reproductive urologist with U Health.

WPLG Local 10 News offered an ominous warning: “To protect fertility, some men may want to consider freezing their sperm prior to vaccination.”

Right-wing pundit Michelle Malkin brought attention to this troubling blurb in a Twitter post that is quickly going viral:

Big League Politics has reported on the many different problems coming from the expedited vaccines, whose makers are shielded from providing civil liabilities toward individuals harmed by the shots:
The US government has granted Pfizer and Moderna immunity from liability in case people develop severe side effects from their COVID-19 vaccines.

The Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act allows the Department of Health and Human Services to provide liability immunity for “certain medical countermeasures,” such as vaccines, except in cases of “willful misconduct.”

According to CNBC, someone who develops severe side effects from a COVID-19 vaccine can neither sue the FDA for authorizing the vaccine, nor one’s employer for mandating it.

And although it is theoretically possible to receive money from the government to cover lost wages and out-of-pocket medical expenses following “irreparable harm” from a vaccine, only 29 claims—6 percent of all claims—have received compensation over the past decade.

In short, don’t count on compensation for a COVID-19 vaccine gone wrong. And don’t count on seeing any of those “you may be entitled to financial compensation” commercials for it either.
These vaccines may end up causing worse health problems than the COVID-19 virus itself. Big Pharma will make out like bandits though so the truth will ultimately be swept under...

The Smartest Man In The World – IQ 200 – Is Convinced The U.S. Election Was Stolen.

Christopher Langan is well renowned as the Smartest Man in America and indeed perhaps the world. Now, he’s railing against the alleged election fraud that “delivered” the race for Joe Biden.

Langan, 68, tweeted this week: “Many citizens, including me, won’t accept cheating scoundrels like Biden or Harris as leaders. Best get ready for trouble.”

He also shared his view that there may need to be a second, what he calls “corrective,” election:

“Erasure or concealment of evidence is grounds for a second (corrective) election. There’s no way to legitimately certify an election in which crucial information has been deliberately destroyed, or in which corrupt officials and judges refuse to let the evidence be duly examined.”

In recent weeks, Langan has taken aim at Dominion Voting Systems and Black Lives Matter:

“SCOTUS leaves us with no option but to throw out the fake election and hold a real one to set things right. This new election must completely exclude Dominion, BLM, and other Democratic Party tools and gulls from any role in determining the outcome.”

His critiques of systems and governance in the United States is not limited to this election, either.

Ostensibly a Trump supporter, Langan rails against globalism in his Twitter feed:

“The judicial branch of the US government, like the legislative branch, is evidently totally corrupt, having been bribed, blackmailed, threatened, and cajoled into toeing the globalist line.”

And predictably, far-left outlets have tried to shut down his critiques of central banking, globalism, and George Soros as...

Unwrapping Liberal Hypocrisy for Christmas

Each Christmas for the last twenty or so years I have received a Christmas card from a cousin of mine. She’s a very sweet person who, despite a very humble upbringing, has led a very privileged life. She is in her late fifties and married to a very computer-smart man who works for one of the Big Tech companies. She is from the same small town in Massachusetts where I grew up, and she was raised in an old-school Democrat household, which, though still misguided in the era of JFK and LBJ, was at least still America-loving and patriotic back in those days.

I just received this year’s card. I should note that her Christmas card always contains a two-page, single-spaced synopsis of the year that her family has had... essentially a blog in paper form. If that sounds like a good idea -- a good way of informing family and friends of how things are coming along with you and yours -- then you have obviously never received a Christmas card from my cousin.

The synopsis typically is a non-stop “humble brag,” as a buddy of mine would put it. It’s a way of showing how great things are going for them with just enough faux humility added in to make them appear gracious... barely. This year’s synopsis started out waxing philosophic, and it struck me as a very accurate encapsulation of liberal thinking as a whole; she wrote, “I long for world that puts humanity before lines on a map. I long for a world that admits we’re killing our host. I long for a world alive in the realization that humans, everywhere, are remarkably similar. I long for a world that recognizes an education is about far more than training for a job or vocations...”. It goes on for another line or two, but I think you get the point.

It’s a noxious combination of naïveté, virtue signaling, and simple-minded shortsightedness; essentially, the essence of liberalism today. I can’t help but break it down.

Line 1: “...a world that puts humanity before lines on a map.” I might point out that the address this card came from is in a wealthy suburb of Seattle, and it prices out on Zillow.com at a cool $1.6 million... or $4,700 per month if you were to try to rent it. I’m wondering if she considers her property lines just “lines on a map.” Perhaps she should take in some of the epidemic of homelessness in the Pacific Northwest. Certainly, she has room for a few dozen tents in her yard.

Line 2: “...a world that admits we’re killing our host.” For one thing, the use of the word “host” would either mean that she believes the Earth welcomed us in as some sort of guest, which is just weird, or that we are some sort of parasite that has embedded itself in the planet, which actually seems more fitting. Of course, she’s making a typical virtue-signaling plea for the world to not only accept climate change (formerly global warming until the data did not fit the narrative) as fact but also to accept that the governments we already know to be horribly corrupt are capable of devising the solution... all while she does nothing about the problem, of course.

Line 3: “...a world that recognizes that an education is about far more than training for a job or vocation.” A) She hasn’t had an actual job since roughly 1995, so... B) she arrogantly assumes that training for a job or vocation is somehow not a valuable pursuit. I’d note here that her mother was a nurse and her father was a union truck driver. I’d wonder what they would have to say about her apparent disdain for the working man.

One of my favorite humans Mike Rowe (see Returning the Favor and Dirty Jobs) has been working especially hard over the last several years to help us remember that “jobs and vocations” are actually not only a great way to make a living and provide for your family (often to the point of great personal wealth), but they are also a critical part of the fabric of our nation. I would opine that any job where one works hard and sweats for a living also contains the makings for one hell of an education; one that doesn’t require six figures worth of student loans to acquire.

The last line of the opening paragraph of my cousin’s diatribe talks about a world that seeks solutions not blame, friends instead of foes. I remember seeing many a post of hers over the last four years that specifically blamed President Trump for nearly every woe the world was experiencing, and that specifically named President Trump as their foe.

My cousin’s way of thinking seems to me to be a perfect illustration of the general thought process of the Left at large; borders are mean (but don’t let any of those people on my property); let’s put the same people who allowed alleged climate change to become a problem (long-time politicians, like Sleepy Joe, for instance) be in charge of fixing said problem; and college is the only way to...

‘Gretchen the Grinch’ comes out to play as defiant Michiganders hold festive Christmas MAGA parade

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer made an unexpected appearance at an anti-lockdown Christmas MAGA parade Wednesday at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing.

Well, kind of …

Rather, someone wearing a “Gretchen Grinch” costume showed up for the event, which was formally dubbed the “How the Gretch Stole Christmas” protest.

But considering the uncanny resemblance between the masked impostor and the governor herself, it was pretty much as if she herself was there.

Look:

You can’t even tell the difference!

The appearance of “Gretchen Grinch” was just one of many fun festivities that rocked Lansing from Wednesday afternoon through the evening as locals fed-up with their state’s restrictive lockdown restrictions gathered to protest.

“Michigan has had a really rough year under the rule of a tyrannous Governor and her overreaching government agencies who continue to suppress freedom, harass, and threaten Michiganders, who choose to practice their God-given freedoms,” the...

WATCH: Family Receives Surprise Military Homecoming for Christmas

A family in Elk Grove, California, got a huge surprise on Wednesday when a loved one who serves in the military returned home for the holidays.

“Nineteen-year-old Matthew Esguerra has been away from home for six months, so he and his dad teamed up to surprise the whole family,” KSBW reported.

Video footage showed the moment Esguerra’s dad gathered everyone for a picture, only to see the young sailor walk through their front door.

Several family members screamed and ran to embrace him and one was so overcome with emotion, she covered her face with her hands and sank to her knees.

“Matthew left for boot camp back in June, but because of the pandemic, his family was not able to attend his graduation,” the KSBW article read.

A similar instance occurred last week in Steubenville, Ohio, when Harrison Central High School basketball player Maddy Butler got the surprise of her life, according to WTOV.

As Butler’s team geared up to play Steubenville Catholic Central, their coaches told them to line up on the court.

When the announcer said it was time to welcome home a servicemember, Butler said, “I was oh my gosh, I love these videos, I’ve always wanted to see one in person.”

However, she realized a few moments later it was her brother, Fire Controlman Seamen Nathan Mayle, whom she had not seen in...

Incoming Officials Reveal Biden's Plan for Undoing Trump Immigration Restrictions

'Guardrails' and the recipe for boiled frog

In a December 15 article captioned "Boiling the Frog Slowly on Immigration", my colleague Mark Krikorian explained that President-elect presumptive Joe Biden will undo the Trump administration's immigration policies, but "will ... try to hide the politically explosive consequences from public view" by rolling out those changes incrementally. On Tuesday, the former vice president, Susan Rice — Biden's choice to lead the Domestic Policy Council — and others gave hints as to the recipe that he will use to do so.

The reference in Krikorian's headline to the "boiling frog" is a common analogy for any action that is done slowly to hide true intentions and inevitable outcomes. It is based on the premise that a frog put in boiling water will jump out and save itself, but a frog put in room-temperature water that is slowly heated will not sense it is being cooked until it is too late.

Rice tweeted:

And, as the Washington Post reported on Tuesday, Biden has vowed to "keep his pledge to roll back the Trump administration's restrictive asylum policies", but will do so "at a slower pace than he initially promised, to avoid winding up with '2 million people on our border.'"

Biden's campaign website was fairly clear about the former vice president's intentions — when he was running for president. He promised that in his first 100 days in office, he would: "End Trump's detrimental asylum policies", as well as the Migrant Protection Protocols — MPP or "Remain in Mexico", under which asylum seekers from countries other than Mexico must await hearings on their asylum claims on the Mexican side of the border.

Now, however, Biden is seemingly backtracking on those vows. He claims that it will take six months to rev up his plans, asserting that it will take months to stand up the machinery by which asylum claims can be heard. He blames government bureaucracy and the appropriations process.

Specifically, the Post references Biden's statements to the effect that "creating a system to process thousands of asylum seekers will take months," as "the government needs funding to put staffers such as 'asylum judges'" — logically referring to asylum officers in U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) — "in place".

As I have explained previously, government hiring takes time, and appropriations are usually a year-long process, while USCIS funding comes from those who are seeking benefits from the agency. Nonetheless, Biden expects to have all of this done in "six months".

The Post continues: "Biden said he was not dragging his feet but 'setting up the guardrails' to find a solution to the immigration issue, instead of creating a crisis 'that complicates what we're trying to do.'"

The "crisis" that Biden is referring to is a rush of illegal migrants at the border, which is "bad optics" in Washington parlance — that is, a scenario that reveals the deleterious effects of governmental action, and which provokes a...
