Internet mocks Joe Biden as he stumbles three times to board Air Force One

The American pretender stumbled three times before reaching the door of his Air Force One while pretending that nothing had happened. He seems to leading a stumbling administration too.

At 78 years old, this new episode will provide fodder to those who doubt the US president’s cognitive, physical or intellectual capacities. As reported by many American media outlets, Joe Biden made a fool of himself on Friday, March 19 when he was taking his plane to Atlanta. While climbing the stairs of the aircraft, the US president tripped not once, not twice, but three times halfway up the stairs before he could finally reach the door.

Joe Biden stumbled but steadied himself with his left hand, then a second time in almost the same way, before his ankle seemed to give way. He then ended up on the stairs and got up to rub his knee. Once at the top, he waved his hand as if nothing had happened.

Officially the Head of State is “very well”, at least this what his spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre reported: “He is fine, very well even,” she said on board the apparatus. “As you know, it’s very windy outside. I myself almost fell on the stairs.” By Biden was widely mocked on social networks, with Internet users posting smiles from Vladimir Putin (whom Biden had childishly described as “killer” without a “soul” a few days ago).

Others have made montages where we see Donald Trump playing golf and hitting Joe Biden on the stairs with one of his balls. Some suggested that he use a stairlift for the elderly, the new “Chair Force One”.

Biden’s fall did not surprise his opponents, especially since last November, just after his election, the new president had broken his foot… while walking his dog.

This week, during the summit with Chinese leaders, Biden administration officials put on an equally poor show. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had decided to invite the Chinese delegation to Alaska to hold diplomatic talks. Inviting foreign leaders to a publicly-broadcast meeting is typically something which is done by an administration in the driving seat. Yet Blinken, clearly not prepared for the job he holds, ended up making the United States look quite pathetic.
