Soros-funded Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza on Thursday had Army Sgt Daniel Perry indicted for fatally shooting AK-47-toting Black Lives Matter "protester" Garrett Foster after he approached Perry's car and allegedly raised his rifle at him during a "protest" in downtown Austin one year ago.
Perry was let go by police without any charges after the July 25, 2020 shooting but D.A. Garza is working to turn Austin into the next St. Louis by criminalizing self-defense.
From The Texas Tribune, "Army sergeant indicted on murder and aggravated assault charges after fatally shooting Austin protester Garrett Foster in 2020": A Travis County grand jury on Thursday indicted Army Sgt. Daniel Perry on charges of murder, aggravated assault and deadly conduct after he shot and killed Garrett Foster, an armed protester in downtown Austin last year.AntifaWatch has more: Read More HERE |
I really feel sorry for this guy. Since he is not being tried in Texas, but instead in Austin, the lib jury will find him guilty.
ReplyDeleteHe may be found guilty in that Leftist Mecca, but should get the State Supremes to overturn. I hope.
ReplyDeleteBut, I'm channeling ADM Josh Painter "This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it."
Grandstanding ideologically-biased DA failing in his ultimate responsibilities to seek justice. Hope the defense attorney is correct, and that the trial is a slam-dunk for Perry and is an opportunity to put the DA on trial.
ReplyDeleteThis parasitic infestation of Texas is getting downright embarrassing. Texas really needs a healthy dose of dewormer to deal with its Austin problem.
ReplyDeleteJust look at the charges. 2 felonies and a misdemeanor. The DA's office is hoping to hammer the guy and force him to plead guilty to the misdemeanor.
ReplyDeleteIf the DA thought that it was a slam-dunk case, there would be no misdemeanor charges.
Charge big, plea down. Why not? It works with black criminals.
If I was on the defense, I'd push for a change of venue to some podunk county.
The Sgt will be railroaded.
ReplyDeleteThey need a different angle on the flagpole picture. My suggestion would be from the other side of the bridge on LadyBird Lake. It would get the tents set up at the base of the stairs that the homeless have taken up residency in. It would also get the overflowing and rotting garbage at the garbage cans on the bridge walkway. I have seen third world cities that were nicer than Austin.
