Depends on where you were. Where I grew up there were three channels (4, 7 and 10) out of the 12 and no UHF for most of the time. By the time I grew up and moved out, channels 2, 5 and 12 were on the air. PBS was channel 2.
2 through 13 makes only 12 channels. The U never did anything.

ReplyDeleteIn Central California where I grew up near Fresno, UHF was all we had. 24- NBC, 30-CBS and 47-ABC.
