Dial phone: I saw a made for TV movie where an assasin called a guy with a wall phone with a short cord. He called the guy and shot him through the wall when he answered. He knew where the guy had to be.
ReplyDeleteI worked my way through college for the phone company in the mid 70s. At first I was changing out wiring so phones could be plugged in to wall outlets. The phones stopped being rotary and were still the same design but with punch numbers. I went to network and was doing cable work.
