‘Missing persons’ style posters of some of the people kidnapped by Hamas and being held hostage in Gaza have appeared in Jewish communities and in public places all over the country. And Hamas supporters have taken to tearing them down. Some of those have been captured on video. And it tends to happen on college campuses.
Who would do such a thing? Apparently a former ADL intern.
One of the NYU students who brazenly ripped down posters of Israeli hostages is an activist “extremely passionate about fighting racial profiling” who blamed her behavior on misplaced anger. She’s mastered the patois of wokeness. And the ADL has mastered hiring enemies.
Yazmeen Deyhimi — a junior at the top university who once worked for the Anti-Defamation League — admitted to tearing apart banners that were plastered outside NYU’s Tisch Hall, in a shameless act that was caught on video.
Deyhimi came clean on her Instagram account after the action ignited social media outcry and calls for the school to hold the perpetrators accountable.
“I have found it increasingly difficult to know my place as a biracial brown woman, especially during these highly volatile times,” she wrote.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Deyhimi is an advocate against Muslim bigotry and spent a summer working with the ADL as a CSC Education Intern when she was just 15 years old. While Jonathan Greenblatt has performed okay during the current crisis, I warned that the changes he made to the ADL have actually infected the group with extremists who hate Israel and Jews. That was on display earlier this year when Greenblatt ended up becoming the voice of reason compared to who was staffing the ADL.
“After review, we can confirm that one of the participants was part of an ADL high-school level summer internship in 2019,” a spokesperson for the organization told The Post.
“We fully condemn her actions and hope that the apology she issued is the first step towards working to repair the harm and deep hurt her actions caused.”
The ADL has since taken down a blog post announcing the Long Island native as one of the 12 student leaders joining the program, describing Deyhimi as “extremely passionate about fighting racial profiling and championing gender equality.”
That was recently brought home when ‘Jewish Currents’, a site derived from a Communist magazine that cheered the rape and murder of Jews during the Hebron Massacre, published audio from a Zoom chat in which ADL employees attacked Greenblatt for being critical of BDS and the anti-Israel movement.
To Greenblatt’s credit, when asked if there’s a place for anti-Israel employees at the ADL, he finally states, “if you still feel like you can’t square the fact that anti-Zionism is antisemitism, then maybe this isn’t the place for you. Like really, if you’re hearing what I’m saying, and you just don’t agree with it. You think it’s okay to deny Jews their rights? Again, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying, “You know what, I don’t think this is the right place for me.”The ADL really needs to clean house. The organization’s transformation into a generic woke diversity outlet has made it incapable of performing its core mission. The Hamas attack was enough of a wakeup call that the ADL ponderously pivoted to actually performing its main task, documenting antisemitism, but it’s been slow and kludgy. Greenblatt’s performance on some chat shows notwithstanding, the ADL has lost touch with its original mission, and is staffed by leftists who think the organization needs to be about BLM, transgender rights, and...

So Dayhimi falls back to hiding behind her racial characteristics to defend her racism. Hopefully she gets her name on a permanent blacklist that prevents her from being hired by any entity except the terrorist-supporters. FAFO.
ReplyDeleteShe's a muzzi.... nothing will happen to her. If it was a white conservative woman, her life would be ruined by the left.
ReplyDeleteLook, jews and muslims are, essentially, cousins. Their family fights shouldn't involve anybody else. Both of them hate everyone else. Historically, they have worked together against whites, other browns, blacks, and everyone else. Only really fighting each other when they have gotten rid of everybody else? Bleh.
ReplyDeleteNot my problem. I am on neither of their sides, for neither of them are on my side. Both are, essentially, hard-core democrats. Destroying my nation is what both of them are about. Both in and out of my country.
The US needs to get out of the ME. We've done nothing except to help bust up nations Israel wants destroyed or the bankers want to loot.
ReplyDeleteLet Israel & Hamas work this out WITHOUT two US aircraft carrier groups stationed right offshore Israel.
Tell Israel we're out of this dogfight, & let those two settle their differences.
The one that bombs hospitals & schools, strafes refugee columns fleeing Gaza & likes to orally sodomize baby boys would be at the negotiating table in a minute.
Just like all the thousands of race hoaxes.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should stop saying Hamas attacked Israel. The Gaza people elected Hamas as their leaders. Gaza is their state and it attacked Israel and they follow a playbook: 1)attack Israel, 2)Kill Israelis (Jews, Arabs, and Christians), 3)destroy buildings in Israel, 4)take hostages, 5)scream when Israel shut downs energy/food/water, 6)scream when Israel counter attacks Gaza and will cause death and destruction. This should be GAZA ATTACKED ISRAEL.
ReplyDeleteThe USA should stay out of it both in military and money except to get Americans out of the area. Notice no Arab country will take any Palestinian from Gaza.
