ReplyDeleteIn many ways that timeline was logically forseeable. Of course allocation of resources, legal defense, and not just acknowledgement but approval was required.
For all their fighting for their 'rights', it wouldn't have achieved as much as we see today. That is, the aforementioned were necessary.
Who provided those means? Many, and suprisingly diverse stakeholders. Strange bedfellows but all to achieve the same purpose.
Yet to a very large degree it is all of society, with few exceptions, which has paved the way. Some, the aforementioned were in active pursuit of the goal. Most of society were passive. Both brought to fruition the spread of perversion.

DeleteWell within one lifetime has what was subject to vicious prosecution and deep offense to society has now become in your face. It is now those who complain or take offense who are subject to ridicule, harrassment, physical violence, even legal prosecution.
