Girl in #5: sorry. The track of that hurricane they seeded with dry ice looks nothing like the track of Helene. Further, other experiments with seeding storms since that first experiment (seeding with potassium iodide, and other things) showed there's far more energy there than we can control. I don't believe hurricanes can be steered, let alone steered that accurately. Helene pretty much followed the track that had been predicted and published for the week before it hit.
ReplyDeleteWeather is the most familiar example of chaos theory and the guy who founded it was trying to model weather when he came up with the ideas for chaos theory. Also referred to a "sensitive dependence on initial conditions." Nonlinear partial differential equations. It's the way the universe is put together with very few exception.
