ReplyDeleteThis is a huge reminder why ALL manufacturing MUST return to the United States. It is too easy to bottleneck the entire country.
That Union leader should be dragged out and shot with balls of his own sh!t.
Longshoremen are the highest paid blue collar workers. They make more than an Electrical Engineer. It is time to bust the union.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I am aware they work hard, but give me a break. Reagan fired a whole class of people for trying to strike, when the air traffic controllers forgot they didn't own the jobs. I don't see too much of a difference regarding the economic impact.
Note that the Longshoreman Union did not "finish" their strike, but just suspended it until Jan 15th so it would not hurt Harris and the Dems. They are still in negotiation for contracts. I was once a member of a union while I worked my way through college back in the mid 70s and found they are corrupt. Our present HR and govt laws make no needs for unions.
