Him and every other low life that did nothing for their constituents. We need a way to swiftly remove these people from office when they do not do their duty. The moment they are elected the state should set up an election to vote them out immediately. schedule it a week from the day they won and reschedule it for Thursday of every week until the end of their term. Then do the same for the person voted in during that election, Wash, Rinse, Repeat forever. This way they can be removed quickly instead of it taking so much time that they can cause even more damage. Even have a reward system that extends the rescheduled vote further out the more they do their job. The moment anything looks fishy is slams right back to every week.
Do not show up, or take too much time off. No vote is necessary, they get replaced. Do stupid things, replaced. Just like any employee anywhere. They are our employees and we need a way to fire them when they show a pattern of negligence or break their oath. And certain things are grounds for immediate removal. Vote for, Sponsor, or submit legislation that is Unconstitutional, immediate removal. Fail to support and defend the Constitution as it was written, immediate removal. etc... When it is grey area is when an election decides. You either vote them in or a replacement that is not directly associated with them in any way. This will keep career politicians out as well. Someone smarter can figure out the details. And I do not care if every seat is just musical chairs forever, every week. It will bring the stupidity to a standstill. Gridlock in our government is a feature, not a bug.
There should be real consequences for Thune other than him just retiring with a big pension.

ReplyDeleteWhat would they do if Trump did like Benen, but instead of only pardoning his accomplices, Trump pardons every American who isn't a Democrat?
