A sniper shattered the kill shot record when he took out an ISIS fighter
A Canadian sniper broke records when he took out an ISIS fighter in Iraq from over two miles, 3,540 meters in total, away. “The Canadian Special Operations Command can confirm that a member of Joint Task Force 2 successfully hit a target at 3,540 meters,” the group announced via The Globe and Mail. It reportedly took 10 seconds for the bullet to reach its target.
A military source disclosed that the shot “disrupted a Daesh [Islamic State] attack on Iraqi security forces.” RELATED: It was a normal day on the lake until a screamin’ bald eagle intervened — and it was all caught on slow-motion video “Instead of dropping a bomb that could potentially kill civilians in the area, it is a very precise application of force, and because it was so far way, the bad guys didn’t have a clue what was happening,” they added.
According to Newsweek, British sniper Craig Harrison previously held the record for the longest confirmed kills when he shot a target in Afghanistan at 2,475 meters in 2009. Three spots of the top five longest confirmed kills are held by British snipers, including an unnamed British military sniper.
47 Groups Weighing SPLC Lawsuit Warn 'Editors, CEOs': 'You Are Complicit' in Hate Group 'Defamation'
On Wednesday, no fewer than 47 nonprofit leaders maligned by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) — many if not most of whom are considering a lawsuit against the organization — warned a vast array of executives and leaders that if they parrot the SPLC's damaging "hate group" labels, they would be "complicit" in "defamation."
"Editors, CEOs, shareholders and consumers alike are on notice: anyone relying upon and repeating its misrepresentations is complicit in the SPLC's harmful defamation of large numbers of American citizens who, like the undersigned, have been vilified simply for working to protect our country and freedoms," the signatories wrote.
The letter followed news — broken at PJ Media — that no fewer than 60 organizations are considering suing the SPLC following a groundbreaking settlement in which the organization formally apologized to a Muslim reformer, Maajid Nawaz, for branding him an "anti-Muslim extremist."
In 2016, the SPLC published its "Field Guide to Anti-Muslim Extremists," listing Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz, a practicing Muslim, as one such extremist. The left-wing group listed various and changing reasons for including him, even at one point mentioning that he had gone to a strip club for his bachelor party. On Monday, the SPLC apologized and paid $3.375 million to settle a lawsuit Nawaz had filed.
"We haven't filed anything against the SPLC, but I think a number of organizations have been considering filing lawsuits against the SPLC because they have been doing to a lot of organizations exactly what they did to Maajid Nawaz," Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, told PJ Media on Tuesday.
Representatives of the Family Research Council (FRC), the Ruth Institute, and Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) told PJ Media they were considering "legal options."

Is The Air Traffic Control Hiring Scandal Evidence Of Broader Affirmative Action Failures?
In a recent segment on Fox News, Tucker Carlson took the FAA to task for putting “diversity over safety” in its hiring practices:
Most of the segment consisted of an interview with former ATC Michael Pearson, who detailed his lawsuit against the FAA...
...but the segment itself didn’t offer any external confirmation beyond Carlson’s word. Unsurprisingly, Carlson was correct – the FAA’s own website clearly says so…
…and three years ago, The Wall Street Journal blew the horn on how the FAA itself stated that its affirmative action process, the “biographical questionnaire” (BQ), not only was inferior to the existing AT-SAT exam, the agency disqualified prior experience in its hiring criteria:
Starting in 2014 the FAA added a biographical questionnaire to the application process. Applicants with a lower aptitude in science got preference over applicants who had scored excellent in science. Applicants who had been unemployed for the previous three years got more points than licensed pilots got. In other words, the FAA actively searched for unqualified air traffic controllers. That is insane and they knew it was insane when they did it but they did it anyway.
Today we obtained new information, it is an internal email written by an executive at the firm that devised the FAA’s biographical questionnaire. In that email, the executive admits that the test he devised has nothing to do with finding the best air traffic controllers. If you want good air traffic controllers, find people with experience, that was his advice. The FAA ignored this and used the biographical screen anyway. They didn’t care about finding the best air traffic controllers. Compared to diversity, your safety meant nothing to them.

The FAA has made an historic commitment to transform the agency into a more diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects, understands, and relates to the diverse customers we serve. To meet this goal and satisfy the requirements of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission MD-715, the Administrator tasked the Office of the Assistant Administrator for Civil Rights to conduct barrier analyses of the Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) Centralized Hiring Process, Aviation Safety Inspectors, and Airway Transportation Systems Specialists.
The first study, completed in 2013, is on the ATCS series. These reports reflect a collaborative effort undertaken by the FAA’s Office of Civil Rights, Office of Human Resources, and the Air Traffic Organization. The primary purpose of these reports is to identify and analyze potential barriers to equal employment opportunities within the ATCS Centralized Hiring Process and to offer solutions to establish the foundation for improving the process.
A second study was conducted in 2015 and addressed potential barriers and solutions in the hiring process for aviation safety inspectors.
…and three years ago, The Wall Street Journal blew the horn on how the FAA itself stated that its affirmative action process, the “biographical questionnaire” (BQ), not only was inferior to the existing AT-SAT exam, the agency disqualified prior experience in its hiring criteria:
“The FAA says it created the BQ to promote diversity among its workforce,” reported Adam Shapiro of Fox Business. “All air traffic control applicants are required to take it. Those who pass are deemed eligible and those who fail are ruled ineligible.”
The FAA would not tell Fox Business what the biographical test is trying to measure and did not...
ANGEL MOM PUTS IMMIGRANT DETENTION IN PERSPECTIVE — ‘REAL SEPARATION’ IS A ‘COFFIN AND SIX FEET OF DIRT’
Angel moms Agnes Gibboney, Mary Ann Mendoza, and Laura Wilkerson followed up their meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump by making an appearance on Fox News with host Martha MacCallum on Friday.
Both appearances centered around the meaning of “real separation” versus the manufactured media “crisis” going on at the U.S.-Mexico border.
WATCH:
“More than the feeling of being ignored is the feeling of — just the desperate feeling that the American public needs to really know what is going on,” said Mendoza, responding to MacCallum’s comment about them being “ignored” because of the hysteria surrounding detained migrant children. “When you have a problem like what is happening at the border you can’t start at the end result and start placing blame. You have to go back to the origin of the problem. That is what the parents, the mothers letting their children go with these smugglers and the cartel bringing these children to our borders. That is where the anger needs to be directed. It should not be directed at the United States for upholding its laws and quite frankly I’m happy that the United States was able to step in and save some of the children from the fate they were dealt and who knows what was going to happen to them?”
Wilkerson told MacCallum how her son was carjacked and killed by a illegal alien brought by his parents at the age of ten.
“He needed Josh’s truck to scrap for some money,” said Wilkerson. “He beat him in the head with a closet rod so hard it broke in four pieces. He kicked him until his spleen sliced and he...

Germany: Open Borders Activist Believed Murdered, Moroccan Truck Driver Arrested
A Moroccan truck driver has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a German woman known for her activism on behalf of migrants.
Sophia Lösche, 28, has been missing for a week since she embarked on a hitchhiking journey in Germany.
Police now suspect that she was murdered, and an international manhunt has led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Moroccan man who is said to have picked her up at a truck stop in Leipzig.
The man was reportedly traveling to Morocco when he was apprehended in Spain.
While German media has reported on the Lösche mystery at length, it appears that fewer outlets are reporting the identity of the suspect.
"Only smaller, regional newspapers are reporting about it," notes Freie Welt. "This could be related to the fact that Sophia Lösche was active in the political left-wing spectrum and that a possible crime against a migrant supporter by possibly a migrant would be extremely dramatic."

U.S. Pays for Palestinian School Books that Glorify Terrorism, Promote Extremism
In a ghastly waste of taxpayer dollars, the U.S. government helps pay for Palestinian school books that glorify terrorism and promote extremism. The Palestinian Authority (PA) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) uses the radical material to educate about 300,000 students in grades 1 through 11 at hundreds of schools in Gaza and the West Bank. The curriculum and inciting materials are largely funded by the U.S., which is by far the UNRWA’s biggest financial supporter.
As the UNRWA’s largest donor in 2017, Uncle Sam doled out a whopping $364 million, more than double the amount of the second-largest contributor, the European Union. The money helps provide millions of Palestinians throughout the Middle East with healthcare, food, schools and other vital services. Earlier this year the Trump administration slashed the funding by more than $300 million until the UNRWA, part of the famously corrupt United Nations, makes critical changes. The head of the UNRWA said in a mainstream news report that the shortfall in U.S. funding means there may not be enough money to re-open schools in August and September for the new academic year. Considering the PA curriculum that’s a good thing and likely part of the change that the Trump administration is seeking.
PA textbooks are radical, glorify martyrdom, demonize Israel, encourage war and teach children that Palestinian statehood can be achieved through violence. An in-depth analysis conducted by a research group that exposes intolerance in school textbooks found that the books “groom young Palestinians to sacrifice themselves to martyrdom,” promote the idea of a mass “return” to Israel, and “feature a radical Islamist, and occasionally, a Salafi worldview.” The probe found that inflammatory language is found in textbooks across the curriculum and that, besides eliminating Israel, the Palestinian curriculum routinely glorifies terrorism. Enraging passages and graphics from dozens of textbooks are included throughout the report. For instance, in a fifth-grade Arabic textbook jihad and martyrdom are celebrated as “the most important meanings of life.” A renowned Palestinian terrorist (Dala Mughrabi) responsible for the 1978 murder of 38 people—including 13 children—near Tel Aviv is described as a hero that students should be proud of.
The probe examined 66 textbooks from the overall curriculum and the report touches on a number of topics such as the concepts of jihadism and radicalization associated with religious teachings, including martyrdom and the PA’s relationship to global Islamism. “The curriculum exerts pressure over young Palestinians to acts of violence in a more extensive and sophisticated manner,” the review found. “The discourse is couched in terms of nationalist and religious martyrdom, across science, literature, history and religious education textbooks.” The analysis focused on the 2017-18 PA curriculum, which marked the first full reform of the Palestinian curriculum since 2000. “Radicalization is pervasive across this new curriculum, to a greater extent than before,” investigators found, adding that “with a comprehensive and oft-stated justification for defensive (obligatory) jihad, the curriculum’s focus appears to have expanded from...

DEMOCRACY DIES IN AMAZON’S WAREHOUSES
The Washington Post, at least since its latest rebrand in February 2017, prides itself on supposedly illuminating the threats and dangers to American democracy and the nation’s values. While in the Trump era, WaPo’s reporters, columnists and editors have generally agreed that the man in the White House himself represents the most dire of threats.
Regardless of the accuracy of such a judgement, it is one a newspaper can hold and still remain honest and accurate. If that same paper has declared itself such an arbiter of the things threatening the country’s foundations, one would expect it to investigate all the controversies facing all facets of American society.
In the case of WaPo’s coverage, there exists one growing controversy that has remained conspicuously uncovered: the conditions of Amazon’s workplace. (RELATED: Trump Wants Washington Post To Register As A Lobbyist For Amazon)
Such conditions have been covered extensively in the mainstream press. A number of Amazon’s warehouse workforce has long complained about abusive conditions, with one reporter who went undercover as a warehouse worker for six months comparing it to a stint in prison.
“I’ve worked in warehouses before, but this was nothing like I had experienced. You don’t have proper breaks — by the time you get to the canteen, you only have 15 or 20 minutes for lunch, in a 10-1/2-hour working day. You don’t have time to eat properly to get a drink,” the writer, James Bloodworth, told Business Insider.
A series of features in Pennsylvania’s The Morning Call outlines other disturbing conditions faced by Amazon workers at a Breinigsville warehouse.

After a fire alarm went off during a nightshift in November 2010, employees were locked outside in 20-degree temperatures, with many wearing nothing but T-shirts and shorts.
When a disabled employee asked to go inside, where warehouse managers were at the time, his request was denied “and he was forced to remain outside without a coat for about three hours,” the paper said.

Normally, such an omission of horror stories would not necessarily raise eyebrows. After all, Amazon might be one of the largest companies in the world, but the paper has routinely...
Liberal Activist Bicyclist Eaten By Mountain Lion In Seattle
Are cougars a tool of the fascist patriarchy?
Seattle’s cycling community took to social media this week to mourn the death of cyclist S.J. Brooks, who died from a cougar attack near North Bend on Saturday.
Brooks, who used the pronoun “they,” was at the time riding with Izzy Sederbaum, who also suffered injuries but survived.
Brooks was the co-founder of the Seattle chapter of the Friends on Bikes organization, which is dedicated to “fostering a community for women of color who love riding bikes.” According to the Friends on Bikes website, Brooks had been riding bikes since childhood, “crushing down the Shunga Trail” in Kansas.
It seems that was when Brooks caught the bug, a passion they brought to everything from bike commuting in Montreal to serving on the board of directors of Boston’s Bikes Not Bombs organization.

The IG Report Attempted To Thread The Needle...
The Deep State Is Alive And Well.
Any reasonable report would have concluded political bias because it is so pervasive in the FBI leadership.
The IG Report Is Historical
The recently released IG Report heavily criticising the actions of former FBI Director James Comey and lead FBI investigative agent Peter Strzok’s handling of the Hillary private server scandal as well as alledged Russian collusion but concluding that there was no evidence of bias in the final decision, is the equivalent of the IG completing a report on Chef Bobby Flay’s book, “From My Kitchen to Your Table” and finding no evidence of any recipes. Reasonable Americans across the country rightfully have found the IG’s report to be thorough on evidentiary content but ridiculous regarding conclusion.
Nevertheless, the IG’s report is historical and monumental for several reasons. For starters, the report uncovers the reality of a deep state, where high ranking government officials used their power and operated outside department rules and regulations as well as the law to disqualify a legitimately elected U.S. President. Whereas before the report’s release, one could argue that the belief in a deep state was the stuff reserved for tin foil hat wearing quacks, now to deny the existence of the deep state is to deny reality.
The second gift of the IG’s report exposes the reality of a conspiracy. In the report, when FBI lawyer Lisa Page asked FBI agent Strzok if Trump would be President, Strzok replied, “No he won’t. We’ll stop it.” The key word is “we” which includes a high ranking official in the person of Strzok and points to one or more persons working with him in stopping Trump which is the definition of a conspiracy.
Again, before the report’s release, just mentioning the term conspiracy could force a person to lose credibility. Now, with the hard evidence showing that two senior FBI agents, instrumental in the investigations, communicated their need to take down a President, makes a claim legitimate.
It was Trey Gowdy, as chairman of the Benghazi Committee, who uncovered Clinton’s use of a private email server, not the fourth estate.
It was Republicans working on congressional committees that uncovered inconsistencies regarding the FBI’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server, not the fourth estate. And although not part of the Hillary server scandal, it was not the fourth estate but instead The House Intelligence Committee that exposed the Steele discredited dossier that was central to...

MEDIA BLACKOUT: MIAMI SERIAL KILLER TURNS OUT TO BE AN ILLEGAL ALIEN
MIAMI, FL (The Miami Herald) – A Honduran national in the United States illegally has been charged with killing two women in Miami over the past three months and dumping their bodies on the street, police announced Monday.
Juan Carlos Hernandez-Caseres, 37, was arrested Saturday morning for the murders of Ann Farrin, 41, and Neidy Roche, 39. Both women, police said, were prostitutes.
Farrin’s body was found by paramedics Wednesday morning in the 3000 block of Northwest 25th Avenue, between Northwest 38th Street and Northwest 37th Street. Hernandez-Caseres told police he had picked Farrin up in his car for the purpose of paying her for sex, but sometime during intercourse, he became “enraged” and punched her in the throat and neck.
Surveillance footage taken at the time shows a black vehicle coming to a stop between Northwest 38th Street and Northwest 37th Street. The driver gets out, removes a body from the passenger side and leaves it on the sidewalk.
Roche’s body was found three months ago, on March 2, near the corner of Northwest 30th Avenue and Northwest 26th Street. She suffered head trauma and was lying on the side of the road.
Following Farrin’s death, police noticed similarities in the cases. They used DNA evidence and other leads to determine Hernandez-Caseres was the killer.
An arrest warrant issued to Miami-Dade police into the death of...
