  1. Hey 9th Circuit: Now do every other edged "arm" that states ban! Like blades over a certain length, spring assist opening, switchblades, gravity knives, plunge blades, swords, trench knives, etc. etc.

    1. The Captain's Journal has a comment on this. Apparently, the 9th has questioned the restrictions too.

Finally! The 9th is not so much a circus these days.

  2. I call BS! Bacon has not tripled in price since June. Six months ago a pound and a half of Wrights thick cut bacon was $9.95. Yesterday afternoon that same bacon was $9.95.

    1. Yesterday I spent $130 on food. I wondered which items cost so much. I only bought perishable staples.

Today I returned to the grocery store to get what I missed yesterday. $91.00. But $25 of that was for beef ribs.

I shop for me alone. One person. Why it cost me $200 for perishables this week whereas up until last month my total monthly food purchase was less than $200.

Today at the store I spoke with a man in his mid-90s. He was glum, almost to tears about the very significant and rapid rise in food prices. I truly hurt for him.

    1. Per their website, the COVID Inquiry is scheduled to release findings in October. Also, their findings is mostly gotten from anecdotal accounts submitted by private persons. Per the website, the deadline for submissions (August 14) is not yet attained.

So I am a bit perplexed why they have released a report now.
Also, such has my distrust of government grown, I question the veracity, or the depth thereof, of a branch of government (justice) investigating the actions of that government which had proven greatly harmful to the people.

    2. Too, already are governments forecasting another round of lockdowns, et.
It will be interesting how this plays out, vis a vis the inquiry Vs forces favorung mandatory vaxx, lockdowns, and such.
