Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Two hour limit. I wonder how many miles - surface streets or highways, or stuck in traffic - does two hours get.
Imagine a 40 mile commute taking six hours. Then only to arrive home needing a full 8-10 hour charge.
The bus, including transfers, doesn't go 40 miles into suburbia. And you still have to drive (ten or more miles one way) to the train station to commute.
These problems were solved by the highway system. Now, with electric cars, they want to take you back to the 1940s.
That's fine with a smaller population and industry close by. What they want to do is shutter suburbia. But the cities cannot handle a larger population. (Suburban communities solved that problem).
So, to work their plan, population reduction is the only viable solution.
