Wuhan Coronavirus: China Continues to Flood the World with Defective Medical Supplies

More than a dozen countries on four continents recently disclosed problems with Chinese-made coronavirus tests and personal protective equipment. The problems range from test kits tainted with the coronavirus to medical garments contaminated with insects. Defective Chinese face masks, purchased by Spain's Ministry of Health, were distributed to hospitals and nursing homes across the country, and more than 100 healthcare workers who used them tested positive for Covid-19. • More than a dozen countries on four continents have recently disclosed problems with Chinese-made coronavirus tests and personal protective equipment. The problems range from test kits tainted with the coronavirus to medical garments contaminated with insects.
  • Chinese authorities have refused to take responsibility for the defective equipment and in many instances have cast blame on the countries that purchased the material. They have also called on nations of the world to stop "politicizing" the problem.
  • Slovakian Prime Minister Igor Matovič disclosed that more than a million coronavirus tests supplied by China for a cash payment of €15 million ($16 million) were inaccurate and unable to detect Covid-19. "We have a ton of tests and no use for them," he said. "They should just be thrown straight into the Danube."
  • U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler from Georgia accused China of holding up shipments of test kits: "Testing is core to opening our country back up. I'm concerned that China's holding up test kits. They're playing games with trade policy to prevent us, the United States, from getting the testing that we need."
  • "[W]e should not lose sight of the foundational strategic challenge confronting the West in the emerging post-globalization era: We are in a long twilight competition with the Chinese communist regime, a struggle we cannot escape, whether we like it or not." — Andrew Michta, George C. Gatestone Institute recently reported that millions of pieces of medical equipment purchased from China by European governments to combat the coronavirus pandemic are defective and unusable.

Since that report, more than a dozen countries on four continents have disclosed problems with Chinese-made coronavirus tests and personal protective equipment. The problems range from test kits tainted with the coronavirus to medical garments contaminated with insects.

CAIR & DEMOCRATS USE CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN AS A VEHICLE TO BLAST THE ISLAMIC CALL TO PRAYER ACROSS MINNEAPOLIS (WATCH)

“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant…The
Koran, the muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and
Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” – CAIR Founder/Chairman Emeritus Omar Ahmad

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and their Democratic loyalists have successfully exploited the Chinese coronavirus lockdown to justify broadcasting the Islamic call to prayer from the Muslim Bortherhood-linked Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque (“Home of Migration”) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Referred to as the adhan, the Islamic call to prayer is intended to show “power and control over a country”.

CAIR successfully lobbied the controversial Democratic Minneapolis Mayor, Jacob Frey to issue a permit allowing the Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque to broadcast the adhan during Ramadan. This controversial move was celebrated by terror-tied Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN). Watch as Imam Sharif exclaims the adhan from the mosque rooftop, which is located in the densely populated residential Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. This declaration will be blasted from loudspeakers paid for by CAIR five times per day, seven days a week. The first of the five calls to prayer happens just before sunrise (usually around 5am) and the last between sunset and midnight (usually after 9pm).

This is CAIR’s latest public exhibit of its influence over the U.S. government:

The alliance between left-wing Mayor Jacob Frey and terror-tied CAIR is an example the red/green axis. As previously reported at RAIR Foundation USA, “the radical left and Islamic Supremacists have a long history of uniting to destroy their common enemy: those who believe in sovereignty and individual freedom.” History has shown that the radicals in this unholy alliance will fight shoulder to shoulder to...

Nurses at Hospital in Paris Re-Create ‘Last Supper’ With Themselves as Jesus and His Apostles

OK, this is getting creepy now.

Nurses at a hospital in Paris took a break from dealing with coronavirus patients to re-create Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper painting with themselves playing the part of Jesus and his apostles.

The image was posted on the Instagram page of the Hôpital de la Salpêtrière.

“HUGE THANKS TO OUR DAILY HEROES!” said the message accompanying the post. “And big up to the care team of the Cardiac Surgery unit of the CHU de la Pitié-Salpetrière for this masterpiece.”

To say that this image suggestively deifies health workers would be somewhat of an understatement.

Although health care workers across the western world have been widely celebrated for their front line role in fighting Wuhan CoronaVirus, some are beginning to view their social media antics as narcissistic and insensitive.

As we highlighted yesterday, families of cancer victims, who are unable to access treatment because hospitals are devoted to
Wuhan CoronaVirus, also expressed their displeasure at health workers for spending time dancing for Tik Tok videos.

In addition, a woman in the United Kingdom who failed to participate in the weekly activity of applauding the NHS because she fell asleep was subsequently publicly...

Judge Overturns California’s Ammunition Background Check Law

 California had required backgrounds for…ammo.

A San Diego federal judge blocked California’s law that requires a criminal background check to purchase ammunition, which had been the only law of its kind in the country.

U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez issued the ruling, in response to litigation from the California Rifle & Pistol Association. The ammunition background check law had entered into effect in July, and often made it impossible for law abiding gun owners to purchase ammunition due to the lengthy background process involved.

This isn’t the first California gun control law that Benitez has overturned. The San Diego judge previously overturned the state’s ban on standard capacity rifle magazines, although his ruling on the matter was promptly reversed by a higher court of appeals.

Benitez slammed the ammunition regulation in a forceful 120-page ruling, explaining that it was a clear cut violation of the Second Amendment.

“The experiment has been tried. The casualties have been counted. California’s new ammunition background check law misfires and the Second Amendment rights of California citizens have been gravely injured.

Criminals, tyrants, and terrorists don’t do background checks. The background check experiment defies common sense while unduly and severely burdening the Second Amendment rights of every responsible, gun-owning citizen desiring to lawfully buy ammunition.”

Benitez cited data that indicated the woefully executed law ended up denying ammunition purchases to lawful gun owners at least 16% of the time they attempted an ammunition purchase.

California had also been banning the importation of ammunition from other U.S. states, a clear violation of...

HUGE: NEW COMPELING EVIDENCE SUPPORTING CREDIBILITY OF TARA READE’S ALLEGATION AGAINST JOE BIDEN EMERGES

A NEW PIECE of evidence has emerged buttressing the credibility of Tara Reade’s claim that she told her mother about allegations of sexual harassment and assault related to her former boss, then-Sen. Joe Biden. Biden, through a spokesperson, has denied the allegations. Reade has claimed to various media outlets, including The Intercept, that she told her mother, a close friend, and her brother about both the harassment and, to varying degrees of detail, the assault at the time. Her brother, Collin Moulton, and her friend, who has asked to remain anonymous, both confirmed that they heard about the allegations from Reade at the time. Reade’s mother died in 2016, but both her brother and friend also confirmed Reade had told her mother, and that her mother, a longtime feminist and activist, urged her to go to the police.

In interviews with The Intercept, Reade also mentioned that her mother had made a phone call to “Larry King Live” on CNN, during which she made reference to her daughter’s experience on Capitol Hill. Reade told The Intercept that her mother called in asking for advice after Reade, then in her 20s, left Biden’s office. “I remember it being an anonymous call and her saying my daughter was sexually harassed and retaliated against and fired, where can she go for help? I was mortified,” Reade told me.

Reade couldn’t remember the date or the year of the phone call, and King didn’t include the names of callers on his show. I was unable to find the call, but mentioned it in an interview with Katie Halper, the podcast host who first aired Reade’s allegation. After the podcast aired, a listener managed to find the call and sent it to The Intercept.

On August 11, 1993, King aired a program titled, “Washington: The Cruelest City on Earth?” Toward the end of the program, he introduces a caller dialing in from San Luis Obispo, California. Congressional records list August 1993 as Reade’s last month of employment with Biden’s Senate office, and, according to property records, Reade’s mother, Jeanette Altimus, was living in San Luis Obispo County. Here is the transcript of the beginning of the call:

KING: San Luis Obispo, California, hello.

CALLER: Yes, hello. I’m wondering what a staffer would do besides go to the press in Washington? My daughter has just left there, after working for a prominent senator, and could not get through with her problems at all, and the only thing she could have done was go to the press, and she chose not to do it out of respect for him.

KING: In other words, she had a story to tell but, out of respect for the person she worked for, she didn’t tell it?

CALLER: That’s true.

King’s panel of guests offered no suggestions, and instead the conversation veered into a discussion of whether any of the men on set would leak damaging personal information about a rival to the press.
Reade, after being read the transcript of the call, said that it gelled with her memory of it, and, after the video was surfaced, confirmed it is her mother’s voice on the call. “Aww, I have not heard my mom’s voice in awhile,” she said.

There are several notable things about the emergence of the call. On the one hand, the caller does not specifically mention “sexual harassment” or retaliation, as Reade had recalled. On the other hand, the reference to being unable to “get through with her problems” aligns with Reade’s claim that she complained to superiors in Biden’s office and got nowhere, and the reference to going to the press makes clear that the caller is...

Why We Should Start Going Back to Work

At this writing, the number of deaths from COVID-19 in the U.S. is 42,425.

This is just a little higher than the number of deaths in the U.S. each year from auto accidents.

It’s no mystery how to reduce those 40,000 auto accident deaths to zero. Simply prohibit driving.

How many Americans would agree to this?

Not many. Most Americans prefer their freedom and the benefits they get from driving, and are prepared to accept the risks associated with driving.

If there were a million traffic-related deaths each year, for sure Americans would become less wedded to their cars and more open to intrusive regulations that would make it much more difficult to drive.

When the news first broke about COVID-19, we were hearing estimates of a death toll of 2 million-plus for the United States. Knowledge of the nature of this threat was very limited.

There was great fear of waves of casualties, and of hospitals without space and equipment to deal with patients.

Under these emergency circumstances, many were open to compromising their freedom and agreeing to lockdown policies.

But the picture has changed dramatically. By the end of March, Dr. Anthony Fauci was estimating 100,000 to 200,000 deaths, and less than two weeks ago, he revised this to 60,000.

A recent opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal reported COVID-19 research results from a Stanford University team. Based on a sampling from Santa Clara County, the team estimates fatality rates of COVID-19 in the range of 0.12% to 0.2%, approximately the range of seasonal flu fatalities and less than a 10th of the initial COVID-19 estimates.

Certainly, this is no final word. But data and what we are observing points very strongly to the severity of this threat being nothing like what we were initially led to...

‘Nice try, journo’: WaPo reporter deletes deceptive tweet that tried to pin price spike on Trump

William Bryan, a DHS senior official, detailed how COVID-19 was being studied at a biodefense center lab in Maryland and findings so far included that solar light, temperature, humidity and ultraviolet light kill the virus. In addition, Bryan shared that “bleach kills it in saliva or respiratory fluids in 5 minutes; isopropyl alcohol in 30 seconds. No rubbing. Just spray it.”

DHS official says sunlight impedes transmission of the virus (more outdoor activities) and bleach kills the virus in 5 minutes and isopropyl alcohol in 30 seconds. Trump "Sounds interesting to me"

“Isopropyl alcohol, which the Trump administration is saying can kill the virus in 30 seconds on surfaces, for sale on Amazon right now for $2.375,” Phillips wrote in a since-deleted tweet. She included a screenshot from the site in her tweet which was suggesting the administration triggered a price hike in rubbing alcohol because of Thursday’s comments.

What Phillips failed to include, however, was the fact that the price she quoted was for a 55-gallon drum of laboratory-grade isopropyl alcohol.

Heavy demand for hand sanitizer amid the coronavirus crisis did drive up prices for the key ingredient which became harder to obtain, according to a Wall Street Journal report at the beginning of April. But the Washington Post blogger was obviously making a different point in her tweet and Twitter users quickly called her out for it.

Some wondered if she had ever purchased rubbing alcohol at her local CVS.

(A) Do you think she knows that's a 55 gal drum? Or (B) do you think she's never bought Isopropyl Alcohol in the store before? ...Or (C) She knows and it just intentionally lying?

This should be embarrassing for @washingtonpost , but it won't be... because this is standard now. https://twitter.com/byamberphillips/status/1253449043063300101
