What the Democrats fear most is happening: President Trump and his negotiating team are reaching wide-ranging agreements with China that will be a huge boon to the United States.

In an Oval Office press conference yesterday, President Trump and China’s Vice Premier announced a Phase 1 set of agreements that will be documented over the next several weeks. The video of the press conference is embedded below; Trump’s performance was masterful. His many years of experience as a negotiator shine through.

The Phase 1 agreement covers several important topics, including agricultural sales. China has agreed to ramp up its purchases of agricultural products to $40-$50 billion–three times the previous peak–over the next two years. Trump joked that farmers will need to buy more land and work overtime. That means, I think, that Democrats can say goodbye to hopes that tariffs would be the issue that could win votes in rural America.

The agreement also opens up China’s financial services markets to American companies, covers currency manipulation, and addresses some aspects of intellectual property and technology transfer agreements. Phase 2 negotiations will begin immediately.

In view of the Phase 1 agreement, new tariffs scheduled to go into effect on October 15 have been canceled. Further tariff increases are scheduled for December 15, but Trump and Steven Mnuchin, who participated in the press conference, emphasized that there is plenty of time to reach a Phase 2 agreement that would nullify those increases. Phase 2 could be the final agreement, or, if there are still open issues, there could be a Phase 3.

Many are saying that the Chinese willingness to enter into this wide-ranging agreement shows that they understand impeachment is a joke, and expect that President Trump will be re-elected. In fact, Trump himself said exactly that in response to a question: “They expect that I’m going to win. Otherwise they wouldn’t sign the deal. It’s very simple.” If Trump can get our relationship with China straightened out well in advance of the election, with economic benefits becoming visible, the main obstacle to his re-election will, in my opinion, be removed.

Here is the press conference in its entirety:

Blizzard From Red China Blows Across the Video-Gaming Community

The China-symp appeasers at Google and the NBA have much to learn from these honorable players.

International video game giant Activision-Blizzard has been caught in a veritable storm of bad press after a decision was made this week to suspend a professional player and tournament winner of its digital card game Hearthstone.

Chung “Blitzchung” Ng Wai, a Hong Kong native, had participated in an interview with two Taiwanese hosts after a tournament match during which he donned a mask and said, “Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times.” Blizzard laid the hammer on Blitzchung, who was banned for a year and forced to hand over his tournament earnings. Even more shockingly, the video game giant also fired both reporters who conducted the interview, despite their lack of participation in anything having to do with protesting China’s treatment of Hong Kong.

Of course, this sparked immediate outrage from the gaming community. Reddit, a locus of the Blizzard fandom, second perhaps only to the official forums, had multiple threads on the subject reach the front page, with hundreds of thousands of people disavowing Blizzard’s behavior. Even now, it remains awash in anti-Chinese and Blizzard-related memes.

Longtime fans of the company’s games boycotted in anger, vowing to never play Activison-Blizzard games ever again and deleting their accounts. Longtime Hearthstone professional player and caster Brian Kibler quit an upcoming convention called BlizzCon. U.S. Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) publicly shamed the company on Twitter. And a Norwegian parliament member, Grunde Almeland, sent the company a letter warning it may not be welcome to host tournaments in the country unless it reverses its decision to blitz Blitzchung.

It’s good to see that this despicable display united both sides of the political aisle. The cowardly assault on free speech in Hong Kong by the communist Chinese government has finally brought bipartisanship back to the Swamp.

Blizzard “justified” its ruling in an announcement on October 8, 2019. But the company’s strange behavior at this point escalated. Shortly afterwards, its Reddit page became invitation-only. Players reported being banned for more than 1,000 years on Blizzard forums. A coach for another Blizzard game, Overwatch, was told to delete a tweet criticizing the treatment of Blitzchung. A company that offered to reimburse Blitzchung’s winnings and offered him a spot in its own game, Gods Unchained, came under undisclosed cyberattacks.

The most egregious aspect of the whole sordid episode is that Blizzard caved and offered an apology — to the Chinese. On the Chinese social network website Weibo — which is heavily censored by its oppressive government — Blizzard’s Chinese Hearthstone account released a statement apologizing for the behavior of Blitzchung and stating that “we will always respect and defend the pride of our country.”

Such behavior only goes to show how far companies are falling over themselves to appease President Xi Jingping and his communist censorial cronies. It should come as no surprise that Chinese gaming giant Tencent owns about 5 percent of Activision-Blizzard stock. Caving to the demands of the Chinese is part of its modus operandi. 6 facts about Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China

Peter Schweizer, best-selling author of “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends” and Jacob McLeod, a senior researcher with the Government Accountability Institute, explain Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China when his father was vice president.

The furor over Trump’s call for Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden’s business has brought the spotlight back to the former second family’s international dealings.

While his Ukrainian business is currently receiving most of the attention, Hunter’s dealings in China deserve at least as much scrutiny.

Trained as a lawyer at Yale, Hunter had primarily worked as a lobbyist and consultant. His previous foray into financial services, Paradigm Global Advisors, was linked to Stanford Financial, a multibillion dollar Ponzi scheme.

In 2009, Hunter co-founded a new venture, Rosemont Seneca Partners. Rosemont and Hunter were given extraordinary opportunities in China while his father was vice president. Here are some key facts:

1. Joe Biden met with Hunter’s Chinese partners days before they established a new investment firm.

In December 2013, Hunter landed in Beijing aboard Air Force Two, accompanying his father on an official visit to China. Less than two weeks later, Hunter’s company, Rosemont Seneca, became a partner in a new investment company backed by the state-owned Bank of China.

Christening the new firm Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), the partners set out to raise $1 billion for the new fund.

Representatives of the Biden family have denied any connection between the vice president’s visit and Hunter’s business. However, a BHR representative told The New Yorker earlier this year that Hunter used the opportunity to introduce his father to Chinese private equity executive Jonathan Li, who became CEO of BHR after the deal’s conclusion.

2. BHR is a multibillion-dollar enterprise.

Exceeding their initial fundraising goal, the partners at BHR raised their target to $1.5 billion for the new fund. The company’s website now brags that it manages “over RMB 15 billion” in assets — the equivalent of about $2.1 billion in today’s dollars.

Under the terms of the deal, BHR, in which Hunter’s firm held an equity stake, would be a lead investor in the fund. Other investors include China Development Bank and China’s social security fund.Enlarge ImageJoe Biden waves as he walks off Air Force Two with his son Hunter and granddaughter Finnegan.Getty Images

3. Hunter and his partners had prominent roles within the company.

Despite his relative lack of private equity experience, Hunter landed a prominent role with the new company. Under the terms of the original deal, Rosemont Seneca, Hunter’s firm, shared a 30% stake in BHR with the Thornton Group, which was run by James Bulger, the son of longtime Massachusetts state Senate President Billy Bulger. Hunter and Bulger joined the board, along with Devon Archer, Hunter’s longtime business partner. Archer would also serve as vice chairman of the fund’s investment committee.

The value of these partnerships to BHR is clear. Its own website boasts: “BHR, with its unique mixed ownership, combines the resources and platforms of China’s largest financial institutions … and the networks and know-how of our U.S.-based investment fund and advisory firm shareholders.”

Hunter Biden claimed to the New Yorker that he and his partners have not seen any money from the BHR deal. But even if true, the potential payouts are...

10 Facts About America’s Worst Serial Killer Samuel Little

On October 7th 2019, the FBI confirmed that Samuel Little is the most prolific serial killer in U.S history. Investigators had verified 50 murders based on the serial killer’s confessions. Now aged 79-years-old, he was already serving three consecutive life sentences at California State Prison when he confessed to murdering 93 women across 19 states between 1970 and 2005.

Despite being relatively unknown to the public; his killing spree now ranks him above other notorious monsters such as Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Gary Ridgway as the worst serial killer in America.

10The Real Victim Count Is Still Unknown

Samuel Little managed to hunt down and kill 93 women then get away with it for close to four decades. Shockingly, the real victim count might be even higher than the current confirmed numbers as the FBI is still working on other murder cases they believe are also connected to the serial killer. Christie Palazzolo, a crime analyst with the FBI’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program, or ViCAP, is currently piecing together a timeline of his whereabouts along with cold cases around the same time and location. She said, “Even though he is already in prison, the FBI believes it is important to seek justice for each victim—to close every case possible.” As the crimes stretch across many states, the task has took years of hard work as in many cases they don’t have a body. The task has also been difficult as states such as Ohio had destroyed missing person reports made prior to 1990. Little said he found the city of Cleveland to be the easiest to get away with murder, confessing, “They didn’t give a f— if you killin’ over there.”[1]

9He Thought Nobody Would Report The Missing Victims

Little managed to evade capture for so long as he selected only vulnerable victims he believed no one was accounting for—female sex workers and drug addicts. Many victims were unidentified and their deaths were not investigated by police. He would pick up his selected victim before driving them to a secluded area where they were beaten and strangled. Their bodies dumped in alleyways and behind dumpsters—wherever he chose to discard them. He chillingly explained in a confessional video interview, “They was broke and homeless and they walked right into my spider web.”In a separate interview with journalist Jillian Lauren for the New York Times, he told her, “I never killed no senators or governors or fancy New York journalists. Nothing like that. I killed you, it’d be all over the news the next day. I stayed in the ghettos.”[2]

8Former Competitive Boxer Turned Serial

Born June 7th, 1940, in Reynolds, Georgia, Little said his mother was a “lady of the night” and investigators believe he was born in jail during one of his teenage mother’s arrests. He claimed she abandoned him on the side of a dirt road and was instead raised by his grandmother in Lorain, Ohio. In high school, he had problems with discipline and was held in an institution for juvenile offenders after breaking and entering into properties. He eventually dropped out of school and took up amateur boxing with dreams of becoming like his hero Sugar Ray Robinson. As a light-heavyweight prize fighter, he was known for his speed and earned the nicknames “Mad Daddy” and “Mad Machine”. Later in life he used these skills to get away with murder. When it came to his female victims, he would knock them out cold with one punch before strangling them—this often meant there was no “obvious signs” that a murder had taken place. The cause of death was often wrongly listed as overdoses or accidental.[3]

7A History Of Violence

Little had a history of violence dating back to 1956. The long list of criminal charges included shoplifting, fraud, breaking and entering, assault and false imprisonment. In 1984, he was arrested in San Diego for kidnapping, beating and strangling 22-year-old Laurie Barros—she was one of the lucky few survivors. A month later, a police officer found him in his car with an unconscious woman who had also been beaten and strangled. He served just two and a half years for both attempted murder charges and moved to Los Angeles following his release. In September 2012, he was arrested on a narcotics charge whilst at a homeless shelter in Kentucky and then extradited to California. When police collected his DNA, they matched him with three unsolved murders between 1987 and 1989. He claimed he was innocent but witnesses who had barely survived his attacks began to come forward to testify. In 2014, he was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole—that was just the beginning of what was about to unfold.[4]

6He Finally Confessed To A Texas Ranger

The FBI is well-trained in extracting a confession from cold-blooded killers but despite more than 700 hours spent interviewing Little, they never got him to admit to his crimes. Then along came Ranger James Holland who did the impossible and managed to coax Little into spilling all his secrets. For 48 straight days, the two men sat in a room together as Little confessed to 65 of his murders whilst they shared pizzas together. Due to these confessions, judges and prosecutors across multiple states have been able to close long-standing cold cases.Holland said Little was a calculated killer, he revealed, “He was so good at what he did. You know, ‘How did you get away with it, Sammy?’ Did the crime, left town. The first thing I picked up on is how wicked smart he was.” Adding, “Nothing he’s ever said has been proven to be wrong or false. We’ve been able to prove up almost everything he said.”[5]

Mrs. Papadopoulos Flaunts Skimpy Swimwear At Trump’s Miami Resort

Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos has a new swimsuit line.

Naturally she’s showing it off at President Trump’s National Doral Resort in Miami.
Her husband, George Papadopoulos, 32, is a former foreign policy adviser to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. In 2017, the ex-Trump aide pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. He spent 12 days in the jug, was fined $9,500, and was sentenced to parole for 12 months. Papadopoulos has portrayed himself as a victim, saying he’s the victim of government foul play.

Mangiante, who has claimed to be an Italian lawyer, married Papadopoulos in March, 2018, posted several skimpy swimsuit pics to Twitter on Thursday that included thongs, a bikini, and a few skin baring one-pieces.

It’s unclear how old Mangiante is. In 2018, she admitted to ABC News that she had changed the date on a photograph to make her seem younger. “I did happen to lie about my age,” she told ABC News. “I don’t owe anyone any explanation about it.” The report indicated that she is 37, not 34. She said she was born in 1981.

University of Washington Professor Says SpongeBob Squarepants is “Racist” and “Violent”

Truly nothing is safe.

A professor at the University of Washington wrote an academic article denouncing SpongeBob Squarepants as “violent,” “racist,” and “insidious.”

Yes, really.

Professor Holly Barker’s tirade against the yellow cartoon character was published by an academic journal called The Contemporary Pacific: A Journal of Island Affairs.

In it, Barker argues that the show’s fictional location of Bikini Bottom is unfair because it is based on the nonfictional Bikini Atoll, a coral reef in the Marshall Islands used by the U.S. military for nuclear testing during the Cold War.

“The indigenous people of the area were relocated during the testing, which eventually rendered the area uninhabitable due to residual radiation,” writes Celine Ryan. “Barker finds it unjust that SpongeBob and his pals be allowed to “occupy” the area when the nonfictional indigenous people of the area do not have the option to return to their homeland.”

Barker argues that SpongeBob has privilege because he is an “American character” who can go about his life care free without having to worry about the detonation of nuclear bombs.

This equates to “symbolic violence” because SpongeBob and his friends are perpetuating injustices against the indigenous people of Bikini Atoll by occupying the territory.

“SpongeBob’s presence on Bikini Bottom continues the violent and racist expulsion of Indigenous peoples from their lands (and in this case their cosmos) that enables U.S. hegemonic powers to extend their military and colonial interests in the...

ICE: Illegal immigrant targeted alleged rape victim again after release

An undocumented immigrant targeted a woman he previously raped once he was released from custody in Oklahoma after authorities failed to honor an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer request, immigration officials said.

Antonio Ulises Perez, 38, a native of El Salvador, was arrested on Sept. 30 for alleged first-degree rape by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, ICE said in a statement. Officials said the agency asked the sheriff's department on Tuesday to transfer custody of Perez to deportation officers in the event he was scheduled to be released.

They refused and Perez was released Wednesday morning, according to ICE.

“Within a few hours of being released, this illegal alien was back at the home of the rape victim where he was free to re-victimize her and harm other members of the community,” said Marc Moore, director of ICE’s Dallas field office.

Deportation officers were able to track Perez down and arrested him later that day, Moore said. He remains in custody pending deportation proceedings.

"Unfortunately, this is not an isolated event," the ICE statement read. "Over the past few months ago, Oklahoma County has routinely failed to honor ICE detainers by releasing criminal aliens back into the local community before ICE has...

Trade With China Has Turned Into Giving Away Our Values For Their Money

Free trade with communist nations will defeat every law we have. In a free market with an unfree nation, we have created a competition of systems, and bad systems will drive out good.
Trade with China has been a factor in American capitalism since the birth of the republic, but only in the 21st century has it become a truly massive driver of American corporate wealth. But a funny thing happened on the way to the bank: The American influencer became the influenced. Trade is a two-way street that is meant to be mutually beneficial, but American trade with China has turned into a trade of our values for their money.

Corporations that we used to think of as American wear that allegiance very lightly these days, if at all. Their executives are happy to keep their headquarters here and live here. They love that our Constitution gives them and their owners secure property rights and that our taxation regime is not as onerous as some places and is fairly predictable. They love that our First Amendment gives them the right to advocate whatever cause is popular this week among their class of bien pensant elites.

But these leaders of woke capitalism aren’t so keen on extending those same rights to ordinary people. Their loyalty is to the dollar, not the flag. They outsource production to China, which is bad enough, but in doing so they sell out more than the individual workers whose factories they shutter. Importing Chinese goods and Chinese profits means importing the values of the Chinese Communist Party. On free speech, consumer protections, workers’ rights, the environment, and more, our open trade with China has rendered our laws null and replaced them with the dictates of a hostile, totalitarian state.

Whatever You Say, Say Nothing

The most recent example of American business leaders kowtowing to Chinese Communist Party Chairman Xi Jinping is seen in the way the National Basketball Association cracked down on dissent from one of its employees. The situation is benign enough by American standards: Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted a message of support for the pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong — just another American praising democracy and peaceful protest.

But support for democracy is far from harmless in the eyes of the Chinese Communist Party. Word got back to the NBA that dissent from the party line was unacceptable for any corporation that wants to do business with them. Morey’s tweet disappeared, and the league issued a groveling apology.

It wasn’t quick enough, though. The Rockets have been a popular team in the People’s Republic since they drafted Chinese superstar Yao Ming in 2002, but those relationships soon crumbled under the weight of an uncensored thought. Some sources reported that the Rockets even considered firing Morey for his thoughtcrime. In China, the Rockets are already being...

New AOC Bill Proposes Welfare for Illegal Immigrants – And That’s Just the Tip of the Iceberg

AOC’s Green New Deal seems a lot more Red than Green, and that’s by design. Her former Chief of Staff Saikat Chakrabarti admitted that it’s doing nothing more than using climate as a Trojan Horse to usher in a whole host of unrelated social programs part of their socialist vision.

In her latest attempt at legislation, AOC decided to carve out and spin-off the Green New Deal’s socialism into a brand new bill; “A Just Society.”

As the glowing summary from her website states, “A Just Society aims to ensure that we are on a path towards shared prosperity for all. A just society provides a living wage, safe working conditions, and healthcare. A just society acknowledges the value of immigrants to our communities. A just society guarantees safe, comfortable, and affordable housing.”

Her plan composes of six different Acts, with their description and flaws as follows:

The Recognizing Poverty Act – This Act correctly acknowledges a flaw in our federal poverty guidelines, in that they’re not adjusted for the cost of living. Someone earning an income at the poverty line in an expensive city is worse off than someone earning the same income in a relatively cheap-rural area, and yet the two are eligible for the same amount of benefits.

AOC is proposing this presumably to expand the number of people eligible for federal assistance, and ironically, it would expose just how impoverished our liberal dominated states and cities really are. As I noted elsewhere in a comparison of California and Texas: “…while California appears to have a poverty rate of roughly 15 percent (measured by the Census Bureau’s official poverty measure), that only defines poverty for a family of four as $24,036 (in 2015), without any considering for the cost of living. If the cost of living were adjusted for, California’s poverty rate comes out to 20.6% (as measured by the Census’ Supplemental Poverty Measure), compared to a national average of 15.1%. Texas ranked just below average, with a cost-of-living adjusted poverty rate of 14.9%.”

So I’m on board with this idea, except for how it would expand welfare eligibility.

The Embrace Act – This “embraces” immigrants, and by “immigrants,” AOC means “illegal immigrants,” whom she wants to make eligible for federal benefits. While some illegals are able to receive government assistance in niche situations, this would expand the welfare state to upwards of 20 million individuals who have no right to them.

Even her mentor Bernie Sanders acknowledges that open borders are incompatible with a large welfare state. As he said at an Iowa town hall event, “If you open the borders, my God, there’s a lot of poverty in this world, and you’re going to have people from all over the world. And I don’t think that’s something that we can do at this point. Can’t do it.”

The Uplift Workers Act
