CBS News corespondent Catherine Herridge suggests Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Delaware US Attorney David Weiss as special counsel to protect the Biden family by blocking Weiss from testifying.

Once the DOJ realized they wouldn’t be able to push Hunter Biden’s sweetheart deal through the finish line, the DOJ quickly sprung into action.

Republican lawmakers sounded off after Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday apponted a special counsel for the probe into first son Hunter Biden.
GOP lawmakers from the highest echelons torched Garland’s appointment of U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who lead the prosecution in Hunter Biden’s tax and gun charges, to head up the special counsel probe.
House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer, R-Ky., called Garland’s announcement “part of the Justice Department’s efforts to attempt a Biden family coverup in light of [House Oversight Republicans’] mounting evidence of President Biden’s role in his family’s schemes selling ‘the brand’ for millions of dollars to foreign nationals.”

We can get as excited and inflamed as as possible, and I am experiencing plenty of both. The evidence is undeniable, the many layers of deceit are exposed, the blatant arrogance and contempt is infuriating.
But we also understand nothing will happen except more cover-up and deception.
When is anybody in Congress do anything that has more substance than just talk? Why can’t the Sgt. at Arms be told to arrest and hold these people? A criminal referral means nothing because the wrong people are in power. Laws are meaningless and all that we see is theater! Haul in Jack Smith and put him under oath!
