Very Big Deal! US Amb. Stops $400 Million Cash Going from Germany to Iran
It’s a big deal because Iran and the EU are still doing business despite the U.S. sanctions. This transfer of cash was a means of circumventing the U.S.-imposed restrictions. Iran uses the cash for terrorism — cash isn’t easily traceable.

The policy appears to be a response to efforts by the U.S. ambassador to Germany, Rick Grennell. It is by no means an easy or small diplomatic accomplishment.
Angela Merkel could step in and transfer the cash. Merkel’s government is considered the most pro-Iran friendly European governments.
Last month, Ambassador Grenell urged Berlin to prevent Iran’s withdrawal of large sums of cash from German bank accounts. It was a way for Iran to circumvent U.S. sanctions that took effect following Washington’s withdrawal from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
BILD reported in July that Iran’s regime seeks to use the European-Iranian trade bank in the northern German city of Hamburg – with the approval of the German government – to transfer the nearly $400 million in cash to circumvent pending US sanctions.
Both Israel and the U.S. are concerned [justifiably] that the cash will be used to finance terrorism. Iran is the leading state sponsor of terrorism in the world.

Collusion: Chinese Spy Caught, Had Been at Diane Feinstein’s Side For 20+ Years
The spy was busted over 5 years ago but the story was largely downplayed and more details are just emerging:
Now, all eyes are on Chinese intelligence in the Bay Area after the website Politico reported last week that a staffer for Senator Feinstein turned out to be a Chinese spy who reported back to the government officials about local politics.
On Wednesday, the San Francisco Chronicle uncovered additional details in a column written by reporters Phil Matier and Andy Ross.
The column revealed that the Chinese spy was Feinstein’s driver who also served as a gofer in her Bay Area office and was a liaison to the Asian-American community.
He even attended Chinese consulate functions for the senator.
Feinstein — who was Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee at the time — was reportedly mortified when the FBI told her she’d be infiltrated.
Investigators reportedly concluded the driver hadn’t leaked anything of substance and Feinstein forced him to retire.
Former FBI agent and KPIX 5 security analyst Jeff Harp said he was not surprised.
“Think about Diane Feinstein and what she had access to,” said Harp. “One, she had access to the Chinese community here in San Francisco; great amount of political influence. Two, correct me if I’m wrong, Dianne Feinstein still has very close ties to the intelligence committees there in Washington, D.C.”
Harp ran counter espionage for the FBI in the Bay Area. He said in addition to traditional political intel and diplomatic secrets, Bay Area spies are often focused on things like R&D, technology and trade secrets.
“They also have an interest in the economy here. How to get political influence here,” said Harp. “What’s being developed in Silicon Valley that has dual-use technology. All of that is tied to the Bay Area.”Of course the media would downplay this.

In his latest, “Death of a Nation,” he takes Trump critics head-on by drawing comparisons between Donald Trump and Abraham Lincoln. The film is based on two of D’Souza’s books, “The Big Lie” and “Death of a Nation.”
More than century ago, Democrats refused to accept the results of a free election, as a description of the film notes. The result was the targeted smearing of Lincoln, a war to defeat him — and, ultimately, his assassination.
D’Souza also addresses the impact of the Left’s disturbing tactics — such as casting President Trump and all those who support him as Nazi-like — in the face of Hillary Clinton’s stunning 2016 election loss.
Gerald R. Molen, the Academy Award-winning producer of Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List” and of “Jurassic Park,” produced the film.
D’Souza and Molen also teamed up earlier, in 2012, for “2016: Obama’s America,” which examined the potential impact on the country of a second term for then-President Barack Obama.
D’Souza has continued to defy mainstream liberal Hollywood by becoming one of the most successful documentary filmmakers around, matched in box-office results only by leftist Michael Moore.

New Report Shows Obama Administration Gave DACA Protection to Thousands of Criminals
The left consistently characterizes all DACA recipients as though they were innocent, law-abiding Phi Beta Kappa college graduates. They also treat anyone questioning DACA as a child-hater. That is just one of the myths surrounding the program.
When President Donald Trump last tried to rescind DACA, a program that Obama implemented without legal authority or the approval of Congress, liberals decried the move as an attack on peace-loving immigrants. However, new research challenges that simplistic narrative.
Recently, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services did a comprehensive review of aliens who applied for benefits under DACA. Getting approved under DACA provided a period of deferred action (a promise that the alien would not be deported) as well as access to certain government benefits such as Social Security and Medicaid.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services found that approximately 8 percent of DACA beneficiaries had previously been arrested, including for crimes such assault, rape, and murder, yet were still approved.
Judicial Watch warned back in 2013 that DACA’s very limited vetting procedures were woefully inadequate, and the data has proven it right.
For those who think that, during the Obama administration, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services was actually checking the backgrounds of all DACA applicants, nothing could be further from the truth. It implemented a “lean and light” system in which only a few randomly selected DACA applications were ever actually investigated, and only rarely was any of the information on the applications themselves even verified.
This new data from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services contradict claims that DACA has not been a shield for criminal aliens. Director L. Francis Cissna lamented: “The truth is that we let those with criminal arrests for sexually assaulting a minor, kidnapping, human trafficking, child pornography, and even murder be provided protection from removal.”

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released newly obtained internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen. John McCain’s former staff director and chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee, Henry Kerner, urged top IRS officials, including then-director of exempt organizations Lois Lerner, to “audit so many that it becomes financially ruinous.” Kerner was appointed by President Trump as Special Counsel for the United States Office of Special Counsel.
The explosive exchange was contained in notes taken by IRS employees at an April 30, 2013, meeting between Kerner, Lerner, and other high-ranking IRS officials. Just ten days following the meeting, former IRS director of exempt organizations Lois Lerner admitted that the IRS had a policy of improperly and deliberately delaying applications for tax-exempt status from conservative non-profit groups.
Lerner and other IRS officials met with select top staffers from the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee in a “marathon” meeting to discuss concerns raised by both Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) that the IRS was not reining in political advocacy groups in response to the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision. Senator McCain had been the chief sponsor of the McCain-Feingold Act and called the Citizens United decision, which overturned portions of the Act, one of the “worst decisions I have ever seen.”

Koch-Backed CATO Institute: ‘Time for the U.S. to Have Open Borders’
In an op-ed for USA Today, the Cato Institute’s Director of Economic Studies, Jeffrey Miron, says the U.S. “has nothing to fear, and much to gain, from open borders,” saying that Americans should “forget” about putting a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border to stop illegal immigration.
Miron downplayed the negative impact open borders would have on American citizens, writing:
Immigrants will not flood into America, although the rate of immigration might increase. Instead, much of the immigration will be temporary. Return migration happens because most people want to be near their families, surrounded by their own language, culture or religion. [Emphasis added]
Crime will not skyrocket. Available evidence shows that immigrants are no more crime-prone than natives. And the additional immigrants likely to enter under open borders would plausibly be even less so, because they have shown respect for the law by not immigrating illegally. [Emphasis added]
Terrorists could well enter via open borders, but they do so now illicitly. Little evidence suggests that our immigration restrictions prevent terrorist attacks. [Emphasis added]
Miron also works in the Department of Economics at Harvard University, an institution that has large borders and barriers for students to qualify.
The op-ed comes as President Trump has hit back at the GOP mega donor Koch brothers for their endless support for mass immigration and free trade.
“The globalist Koch Brothers, who have become a total joke in real Republican circles, are against Strong Borders and Powerful Trade,” Trump wrote on Tuesday. “I never sought their support because I don’t need their money or bad ideas.”
Over the weekend, the Koch brothers held a conference with donors where the heads of their network of organizations threatened to support pro-open borders Democrats in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections.
Charles Koch, at the conference, told the press that Trump’s recent tariffs on imported steel and aluminum were “unfair” to foreign countries and foreign workers.
