HUGE Spike in Sex Offenders Entering U.S. Illegally after Biden Admin Kills Program to Deport Them
Months after the Biden administration canceled a program that deported illegal immigrants convicted of sex crimes, the Border Patrol reports a stunning 3,166% increase in sex offenders crossing into the U.S. illegally via Mexico. Known as Operation Talon, the initiative was launched in the final weeks of the Trump administration and was run by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Around a month after Biden took office, Operation Talon was canceled, igniting outrage among law enforcement and elected officials around the country. Bad move by the incoming administration considering that between October 2014 and May 2018 ICE arrested nearly 20,000 illegal immigrants previously convicted of sex-related offenses including child molestation, rape, sexual assault, and human trafficking, according to data collected by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC).
More than a dozen attorneys general blasted the administration for killing Operation Talon and warned the president in a letter of the repercussions. They specifically mention that it could encourage sexual predators seeking to enter the U.S. illegally. “The cancellation of this program effectively broadcasts to the world that the United States is now a sanctuary jurisdiction for sexual predators,” the attorneys general write. “This message creates a perverse incentive for foreign sexual predators to seek to enter the United States illegally and assault more victims, both in the process of unlawful migration and after they arrive. It will also broadcast the message to other criminal aliens who have committed other offenses that any kind of robust enforcement against them is unlikely.” The signatories include the attorney general of Florida, Alabama, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Georgia, Louisiana, and Kentucky, among others. The chief legal officers proceed to ask: “If the United States will not remove even convicted sex offenders, whom will it remove?”
The warning about more sex offenders entering the U.S. illegally has evidently materialized. During a recent one-week period, Border Patrol agents in the Del Rio Sector in Texas arrested 10 convicted sex offenders shortly after crossing into the U.S. illegally. In a statement, the frontline Homeland Security agency discloses that between May 17 and 23, agents arrested Mexican nationals with felony convictions including forcible sexual abuse, sexual assault of a child under 14, sexual assault of a child, sexual assault, sexual conduct with a person under 13 and a registered sexual offender. Agents also arrested two Honduran nationals with felony convictions for statutory rape, and second-degree sexual assault of a child. On May 24, two Mexican nationals with prior convictions were arrested. Record checks revealed one individual had a felony conviction for lewd and lascivious molestation. Federal Judge Overturns California’s 32-Year Assault Weapons Ban
The judge said the ban was a “failed experiment.” California’s governor called the ruling “a direct threat to public safety.”
A federal judge in California on Friday overturned the state’s three-decade-old ban on assault weapons, which he called a “failed experiment,” prompting a sharp retort from the state’s governor.
California prohibited the sale of assault weapons in 1989. The law was challenged in a suit filed in 2019 against the state’s attorney general by plaintiffs including James Miller, a California resident, and the San Diego County Gun Owners, a political action committee.
The judge, Roger T. Benitez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, wrote that sections of the state’s penal code that defined assault weapons and restricted their use were “hereby declared unconstitutional and shall be enjoined.”
But the judge said he had granted a 30-day stay of the ruling at the request of Attorney General Rob Bonta, a move that would allow Mr. Bonta to appeal it.
Judge Benitez wrote that the case was about “what should be a muscular constitutional right and whether a state can force a gun policy choice that impinges on that right with a 30-year-old failed experiment.”
“It should be an easy question and answer,” Judge Benitez, who was nominated by former President George W. Bush, continued. “Government is not free to impose its own new policy choices on American citizens where constitutional rights are concerned.”
The judge wrote that the firearms banned under the state’s law were not “bazookas, howitzers or machine guns,” but rather “fairly ordinary, popular, modern rifles.”
In a statement late Friday, Gov. Gavin Newsom called the ruling “a direct threat to public safety and the lives of innocent Californians.”

Commercial Ammo: The Untold History of Springfield Armory and America’s Munitions Factories
To understand how American citizens today can get their hands on ammo, which rolls off the same factory lines as those that supply the world’s largest militaries, it’s important to first understand how munitions technology developed. Starting in medieval Europe, on a battlefield where a mounted knight in armor could defeat almost any number of peasants, the development of more advanced and accurate ways to destroy enemy personnel and equipment by launching a projectile is one which combines trial and error, scientific ingenuity, and private enterprise. It’s a story of power and technology dating back to the 13th century, at the height of “the divine right of kings,” and tracks the subsequent diffusion of that power held by a chosen few as the individual became capable of breaking the state’s monopoly on violence.
The first recorded use of gunpowder appeared in Europe in 1247, although China had used gunpowder for centuries before that, mostly for fireworks. The cannon appeared nearly 100 years later in 1327, with a hand-sized version making its debut in 1364. The first ordnances were made of stone, and while it might have been theoretically possible for anyone to own one, this would have been outside the financial reach of anyone but the nobility.
Stone was quickly discarded as a source of materiel for one simple reason: It wasn’t effective against stone fortifications. Thus did the first ever arms race begin, as medieval armies sought ways to fire heavier and heavier projectiles. The first recorded example of a metal ball being fired from a hand cannon came in 1425, with the invention of the hand culverin and matchlock arquebus, which led to lead balls becoming the gold standard for projectiles. This is where we get the term “bullet” – boulette is French for “little ball.”
Ammunition remained largely the same for centuries: Little balls of metal virtually anyone could make. This was true until the invention of rifling in the mid-19th century. Even this invention was, at first, not terribly useful for military purposes. Not only did the barrels quickly become useless, but the barrels often could not be fitted with a bayonet. This made early rifles impractical for military use and mostly a bit of a toy. Not until the advent of progressive rifling (which came, depending on one’s point of view, fortuitously or not, in the middle of the U.S. Civil War), did rifles become practical for military, and also widespread civilian purposes.
Copper jacketed bullets arrived in 1882, but since then the development of both military and commercial ammo has largely been about degrees rather than revolutionary innovations like rifling. The same basic design for cartridges has been in place since the late 19th Century.
Advancing technology was likely a driver in the move toward ammunition produced for commercial purposes, rather than simply military use. While in the past, it was common to simply make lead balls in front of the fire as a family after dinner, making a modern rifle cartridge is far beyond the means of most people. Further, it requires safety procedures above and beyond simply molding lead balls.

An Islamic terrorist wielding a knife broke into a police station in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, a suburb of the French city of Nantes, and stabbed policewoman Katell Lereec multiple times in her legs. The jihadi was able to take the injured policewoman’s gun during the attack. After escaping the scene, the 39-year-old “radicalized” “Frenchman” was hunted down by police and shot dead in an exchange of gunfire.
During the exchange of gunfire, the Muslim terrorist wounded one police officer in his hand and another in his arm. According to authorities, it is clear that he “wanted to attack gendarmes (police officers).”
The female officer was seriously injured in her legs. The woman was in a state of absolute emergency after the attack but is expected to survive her wounds, according to France’s Minister of Interior, Gerald Darmanin, who came to the scene.
The late terrorist was born in France but bore the very African name of Ndiaga Dieye. He was arrested in 2013 for armed robbery and the kidnapping of an elderly couple. Dieye was sentenced in 2015 to 8 years in prison. Freed in March 2021, he was being monitored by France’s Departmental Radicalization Assessment group.

Massive Blaze Engulfs Tehran Refinery Just Hours After Sinking Of Iranian Warship
A major oil refinery in Tehran is now engulfed in a huge blaze just hours after on Wednesday morning the Islamic Republic’s largest warship caught fire and sank in the Gulf of Oman under mysterious circumstances.

- Police arrested Ira Cox-Berry, 41, after he allegedly snatched an 11-year-old girl while she was playing on the playground at Lincoln Elementary School in Ogden
- Before Cox-Berry could get away with the girl an armed school employee shouted and demanded he leave and ushered students into a nearby classroom
- After the children were inside the school, Cox-Berry approached the school building and began punching the window in an attempt to force his way inside
- The school worker, who has a concealed-weapons permit, pulled out his gun and held off the 41-year-old while he called 911
- Police arrived and arrested Cox-Berry after a brief struggle and charged him with attempted child kidnapping
Ira Cox-Berry, 41, was filmed being cuffed and put into a police car in Ogden, Utah, after Tuesday's alleged abduction, which police say was foiled by a hero teacher at Lincoln Elementary School, which his alleged victim attends.
Cox-Berry is said to have attempted to yank the girl away from the playground during recess, only for the armed employee to shout at him to leave her alone.
When the 41-year-old let the schoolgirl go, the teacher ushered her and 19 other students into a nearby classroom, Ogden City Police Department said in a statement.

DailyMail.com spoke to the teacher involved on Thursday afternoon. He asked not to be identified over fears for his future career prospects.
But Lt Brian Eynon of Ogden City PD told ABC4 that the teacher was a 'hero,' whose actions were covered by the law.
He said: 'This employee is protected under the Second Amendment. He followed all policy and procedure at the school, and in this particular case, did everything that he should have done to protect the innocent lives of the children at the school.
'And in this case, it is likely that a life was saved or injury to a life was prevented due to the actions of this heroic...
Government Seeks Retribution for the Biden Resistance
The prosecution of the Oath Keepers is critical in fueling the notion that groups of armed, pro-Trump vigilantes organized an assault on the seat of American democracy.
The U.S. government’s vengeance case against the Oath Keepers, a group that publicly declared its opposition to Joe Biden’s presidency, is now in its fourth iteration with no end in sight.
Biden’s Justice Department, led by a man denied a seat on the Supreme Court in 2016 by Senate Republicans and a woman loyal to both Barack Obama and Robert Mueller, is sparing no resource to destroy the lives of Americans tied to the group that allegedly “stormed” the Capitol on January 6.
Last week, Channing Phillips, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia overseeing the sprawling investigation into the events of January 6, filed another superseding indictment against the Oath Keepers while adding new defendants. Four men have been arrested since May 27; the total number of defendants is 16 and counting.
The Oath Keepers, as the media reminds us daily, pose a mortal threat to the country. As NPR recently warned, it is “one of the largest anti-government extremist groups in the far-right patriot militia movement.” The group’s real crime, of course, is opposing Joe Biden; after the election, a founder of the Oath Keepers said the group would “resist” Biden’s presidency, an act of defiance considered mandatory in many quarters when it was directed at the Trump Administration from the Left.
Indispensible to the Narrative
So, retaliation is underway. The first grand jury indictment was filed one week after Inauguration Day; three alleged Oath Keepers—Thomas Caldwell, Jessica Watkins, and Donovan Crowl—were charged with four trespassing and disorderly conduct offenses.
“The Oath Keepers are a large but loosely organized collection of militia who believe that the federal government has been co-opted by a shadowy conspiracy that is trying to strip American citizens of their rights,” Michael Sherwin, the prosecutor in charge of the early stage of the investigation who bragged about a “shock and awe” manhunt leading up to Biden’s inauguration, wrote in the original charging document. “The organization’s name alludes to the oath sworn by members of the military and police to defend the Constitution ‘from all enemies, foreign and domestic.’”

Peaceful Capitol Protester Threatened With 20 Yrs In Prison For Taking Selfie And Praying On Senate Floor Takes Plea Deal
Peaceful Jan 6 Capitol protester Paul Allard Hodgkins was maliciously overcharged by the feds with "obstructing an official proceeding of Congress" and faced 20 years in prison for the crime of taking a selfie on the Senate floor with others as they "cheered and said prayers."
Hodgkins only spent 15 minutes inside "the People's House" but after being threatened with two decades in prison he accepted a plea deal on Wednesday leaving him facing some "15 to 21 months [in prison] under federal guidelines."

A Tampa man who carried a Trump flag into the well of the Senate on Jan. 6 pleaded guilty Wednesday to one felony count of storming the Capitol to obstruct Congress’s certification of the 2020 presidential election.
Paul Allard Hodgkins, 38, did not enter a cooperation deal with prosecutors, and he is not accused of any other wrongdoing or involvement with extremist groups.
In admitting to the stiffest felony count charged by prosecutors against individuals not otherwise accused of conspiracy or violence in the Capitol riot, Hodgkins faces a prison sentence of 15 to 21 months under federal guidelines. His sentencing is poised to become a test case watched by other defendants deciding whether to accept pleas, several defense lawyers said.
“I have decided that I will accept this plea offer, and I will plead guilty to charge one,” Hodgkins told U.S. District Judge Randolph D. Moss.
Hodgkins’s attorney, Patrick Leduc, said he would seek a lower sentence at a sentencing hearing as soon as July 19, and he asked the judge to waive a $7,500 to $75,000 fine because his client also agreed to pay $2,000 in restitution for his share of riot damage to the Capitol.

And so, we basically had those criteria attached to the grant. And of course, the amount of money that we were providing to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, I’m sure, was a tiny fraction of their total funding. And we had no control over what else they were doing with those funds. That’s another thing we’d like to know more about, and an investigation might potentially tell us.

Former CDC chief says he got death threats from fellow scientists after he went public with his belief that the coronavirus came from a lab in China
Last March, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield betrayed the COVID-19 "expert" community.
Instead of toeing the line on the animal-to-human transmission of the virus, Redfield went on record in an interview with CNN that he believes the coronavirus pandemic began in when the virus escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan, China — and that it started months earlier than the U.S. knew.
His betrayal, according to a new report from Vanity Fair, led to multiple death threats to the former CDC chief — from his fellow scientists.
What did Redfield say about the labs?
In an interview with CNN's Sanjay Gupta on March 26, Redfield said it was his opinion that the novel coronavirus did not evolve naturally from animal to human but instead escaped a well-known pathology lab, the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
The WIV houses "the only facility in China permitted to handle the most dangerous known pathogens, including the Ebola and Lassa viruses," Axios reported in April 2020, and is "home to the Chinese scientists who sequenced the complete novel coronavirus genome in early January [2020] and who are now working on a vaccine."
"I'm of the point of view that I still think the most likely etiology of this pathology in Wuhan was from a laboratory — escaped," Redfield told CNN. "Other people don't believe that. That's fine. Science will eventually figure it out.
"It's not unusual for respiratory pathogens that are being worked on in a laboratory to infect the laboratory worker," he said. "That's not implying any intentionality."
Redfield noted, “It's my opinion, right? But I am a virologist. I have spent my life in virology."

However one looks at it, the country has lost its way: the South African police are not in a position to handle crime effectively.
At a media conference on 14 May 2021, minister of police Bheke Cele admitted to a plethora of failures, including nearly five thousand murders from January to the end of March this year, up 8,4 percent from the same period last year. (These are just the cases reported!) One is not even safe in one’s house: more than 1320 people were murdered in their own homes during that period. In one Johannesburg suburb, there were 68 house breaks in three months, while an average of 105,5 people were raped every day in the same period. More than 75 000 assaults occurred in the relevant quarter, while heavy vehicle hijacking jumped by 25 percent from the previous quarter to 354 during the current period.
What is of great concern to the commercial farming industry is stock theft, with 689 reported cases during the past three months in the province of Mpumalanga alone. More worrisome is the arbitrary use of hunting dogs on private farms (without the consent of the farmer in most instances). Dog packs under the control of syndicates bet huge amounts of money on how many animals (both wild and sometimes domestic) can be killed by the dogs. Some farmers’ properties are arbitrarily invaded by the syndicates and farmers who complain are told to keep away otherwise their farms will be destroyed and their grazing burnt. Eleven people were murdered in the past three months on farms: four were farm owners.
More than 2170 police vehicles in Gauteng province are out of order, 763 more than in November last year. This makes a third of Gauteng’s police vehicles immobile, unrepaired. More than 208 000 DNA tests are awaiting processing, with specific reference to murder and rape cases. Minister Cele says the current situation gives him “sleepless nights” but these are crocodile worries. There are critical vacancies in the police forensic laboratories but ads for these jobs specify that affirmative action applicants need only apply. This rules out whites as candidates for these important jobs. Detectives complain they cannot work properly – their departments are so starved of support and finance that they have to pay for their own uniforms, for finger printing powder and even for flashlights. They pay if they get a flat tire, and they pay to fill up at the local petrol station. There is zero leadership in the SA police force, it is reported. (Rapport 21 March 2021)
Break-ins and theft from police stations have increased: there were more than 136 break-ins in 29 police stations over the past five years. Many of them were to steal crime dockets, weapons and supposedly under-lock-and-key drugs.
Violence
This parlous law and order situation means whole pockets of South Africa are without regular and visible policing. South Africa is a violent society. Many scores are settled “out of court” so to speak. Violence is and has always been the ANC’s calling card. In his book “Secret Revolution- Memoirs of a Spy Boss” (2015), Neil Barnard describes negotiations between former president PW Botha and Nelson Mandela where Botha refused to release Mandela unless the latter eschewed violence.
