NSA Reportedly Admits To Unmasking Tucker Carlson’s Identity

The National Security Agency (NSA) under the Biden administration allegedly unmasked Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson’s identity, according to a Friday report by The Record.

According to the report, the NSA admitted that Carlson’s name was unmasked after it was mentioned by a third party during intelligence gathering.

“The NSA has just completed its internal review of the matter,” Fox News host Brit Hume said. “The NSA now admits that it unmasked Tucker’s identity after an intelligence intercept. By law, the identities of American citizens are concealed when they’re caught up during foreign intelligence gathering. They can only be unmasked in extraordinary circumstances.”

Fox News called the unmasking of Carlson “entirely unacceptable.”

“For the NSA to unmask Tucker Carlson or any journalist attempting to secure a newsworthy interview is entirely unacceptable and raises serious questions about their activities as well as their original denial, which was wildly misleading,” Fox News said in a statement to The Record.

Carlson initially accused the NSA of spying on him during a June 28 segment of his show, when he said that a source from inside the federal government tipped him off to the spying. Carlson confirmed that the spying was taking place, he said, when the source repeated information about a story Carlson was working on that could have only been gathered from the Fox News host’s private texts and emails.

The NSA denied that Carlson was the target of intelligence-seeking operations. Carlson later claimed that the NSA had leaked contents of his private communications to journalists in order to try and take his show off the...

Cleveland Indians Go Woke With Name Change. Now They’re The ‘Guardians’

guard•i•an - One who is legally responsible for the care and management of the person or property of an incompetent or minor.

The Cleveland Indians are officially changing their team name to “Guardians” after facing pressure from the woke mob.

“The choice of Guardians will undoubtedly be criticized by many of the club’s die-hard fans,” the Associated Press noted.

Narrator Tom Hanks officially announced the team’s shift away from the allegedly racist branding in a video posted to the professional baseball team’s @Indians Twitter account.

“We hold tight to our roots and set our sights on tomorrow. And this is our team that has stood with our city for more than a century. … A team that has seen its own progress and prosperity,” Hanks explained. “Its history flows like the river through the heart of the city. … We remember those moments as we move forward, but, you see, it has always been Cleveland that’s the best part of our name.”

Team owner Paul Dolan said the change was spurred on by the social unrest associated with George Floyd’s death last summer. As a result of his feelings, the team announced in December that fans who wear “headdresses and face paint styled in a way that references or appropriates American Indian cultures and traditions” could be ejected from Progressive Field. The team implemented the change just two years after officially removing the infamous “Chief Wahoo” character from player uniforms.

“Inappropriate or offensive images, words, dress or face paint must be covered or removed, and failure to do so may constitute grounds for ejection or refusal of admission,” the new policy states.

The option to change the team’s name also quickly entered the scene. Social media polls originally indicated that “Spiders” was a top choice by fans who wanted to pay homage to the team’s original name, but Cleveland eventually landed on the Guardians to communicate how the team is “loyal and proud and resilient.”

“Now it’s time to unite as one family, one community, to build the next era for this team in this city. To keep watch and guard what makes this game the greatest. To come together and welcome all who want to join us,” Hanks said. “We protect what we’ve earned and always defended. Together we stand with all who understand what it means to be born and built from the land because this is the city we love. And a game we believe in. And together, we are all Cleveland Guardians.”

Last year, Washington’s professional football team renamed itself from the “Washington Redskins” to the “Washington Football Team” after facing pressure from leftist activists in the name of “social justice.” Polling suggested that most of the American Indians surveyed were “proud” that the team chose to shout out their heritage, but their feelings and the fact that less than 30 percent of Americans said the Redskins should change their name was not enough for the organization.

Over the last year, Major League Baseball has gone from a well-revered American staple to a controversial institution that bows to woke pressure. Just a few months ago, the MLB went out of its way to relocate the All-Star Game after leftists demanded a boycott against the state of Georgia for...

Border Tensions Escalate as Asian Giants India and China Battle for the Himalayas

Just one year after a bloody dispute involving Indian and Chinese soldiers, both sides are now deploying more troops along the 2,000-mile border between the two countries.

"We are seeing on the Chinese side roughly 200 thousand troops, according to some estimates, flow into areas around the border," Zack Cooper, a senior fellow with the American Enterprise Institute, told CBN News.

And what's been seen as the biggest deployment in India's history, some 50 thousand additional soldiers are matching China's current troop strength in the area.

"What's important is the sort of troops they [India] have," Cleo Paskal with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, noted. "They have some pretty serious high-altitude fighters embedded among them; This is a serious deployment designed to try to make the PLA [People's Liberation Army] be very concerned about doing a land offensive again."

Both sides are said to be building new roads, bunkers, tunnels, runways, and moving in advanced military hardware.

The Wall Street Journal reporting that China has deployed surface-to-air missiles and anti-missile batteries, while India has beefed up its air force.

"Both India and China are nuclear-armed countries so if a confrontation does take place on that border, it would be problematic for the world and for the United States," warned Aparna Pande of the Hudson Institute.

Six decades after the Sino-Indian war, the world's two most populated countries are still going at it in the Himalayas.

The last clash coming in June 2020 when Chinese soldiers took several square miles of Indian territory in the Galwan valley.

Indian soldiers fought back, losing 20 of their own. China says 4 of its men died, though that number is thought to be much higher.

It was the deadliest incident between the Asian giants in 45 years.

Dozens of high-level talks since then have failed to calm growing tensions between Beijing and New Delhi.

"Against such a backdrop, the words and deeds of major military and political officials and military deployments should help ease the situation and increase mutual trust between the two sides," said Wang Wenbin, a spokesperson with China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

But it hasn't – leaving India increasingly mistrustful of a powerful neighbor that's pursuing regional and global ambitions

"The overt goal of the Chinese Communist Party is global hegemony and that begins in the Indo-Pacific," Paskal told CBN News. "Within the Indo-Pacific region, the biggest counter to their narrative is India and the goal is basically to fragment and render India inoperative because India is the best hope for other democracies in the region to...

The World’s First Small Nuclear Reactor Is Now Under Construction

China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) launched on Tuesday the construction of the first onshore small nuclear reactor in the world, in its efforts to gain a leading position in the modular reactors market.

Construction began on the demonstration project at the Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant in the Hainan province in southern China, local publication Global Times reports.

The start of the construction for the ‘Linglong One’ small nuclear reactor comes four years later than initially planned, due to delays in regulatory clearances, Reuters notes.

The small reactor was originally planned to see the start of the construction phase in 2017.

A year earlier, the Linglong One small reactor had become the first to pass a safety review from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Once completed and commissioned, the small nuclear reactor is expected to meet the annual power needs of around 526,000 households, Global Times reports, without giving a timeline for the completion.

CNNC has been developing small reactor technology for the past ten years, the outlet says.
According to the World Nuclear Association, interest is growing in small and simpler technology to generate nuclear power, due to lower costs and the desire to provide power away from large grid systems.

“Overall SMR research and development in China is very active, with vigorous competition among companies encouraging innovation,” the association says, noting that the U.S., the UK, and Canada also develop and support their...

'Shrinkflation' strikes shoppers across the country: Companies faced with rising costs are downsizing packages without reducing prices in stealthy move to hit consumers in the wallet

General Mills' Cinnamon Toast Crunch has shrunk from a 19.3 oz package (left) to an 18.8 oz box (right) in an example of shrinkflation that is infuriating consumers
  • Many brands are reducing package sizes in a stealthy move to cut costs
  • From paper towels to breakfast cereal, consumers are getting less for their dollar
  • It is a counterpart to inflation known as 'shrinkflation' or downsizing
  • Consumers pay more in the end as they buy more often, but may not realize it
As companies face higher costs for raw materials, some are jacking up prices for consumers, but others are resorting to a stealthier measure by shrinking the package sizes for everyday items such as paper towels and breakfast cereal.

That's contributing to the 5'.4 percent rise in prices consumers are facing for everyday goods - the sharpest annualized price increase since the 1990s.

Also known as downsizing, 'shrinkflation' is the notorious ploy of selling less of an item for the same price, infuriating consumers who wind up getting less for their dollar.

From the cereal maker General Mills to the store brands of Costco and Walmart, many basic goods have shrunk in recent months, as spotted by eagle-eyed consumers.

Though manufacturers have always sought to cut costs and the trend is nothing new, it seems to have accelerated in recent months, as companies face higher prices for raw materials and seek creative ways to cut costs.

Some companies would surely argue that shrinkflation is a consumer-friendly alternative to simply raising prices, helping to prevent weekly grocery bills from ballooning wildly.

But many furious consumers don't appreciate the stealthy tactic, pointing out that they will end up paying more in the end for staple goods, which they now have to buy more often.

'Consumers are price conscious -- they'll spot that price increase -- but they're not net-weight conscious,' Edgar Dworsky, a watchdog at consumerworld.org, told Good Morning America last month.

'If you ask someone how many ounces is in this jar of mayonnaise, or in the cereal box you buy, they're going to shrug their shoulders,' he said.

'That's kind of how manufacturers take advantage because you don't have those sizes memorized,' he added. 'So what consumers can do is they have to become...

White House Communications Director Admits They’re Trying to Censor Conservative News Sites

During an interview with CNN this week, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield admitted the Biden administration's censorship efforts are specifically targeting conservative news sites for publishing "misinformation."

"You've heard the president speak very aggressively about this. He understands this is an important piece of the ecosystem but its also the other thing, the president has pointed out and spoke to when he was asked about this yesterday, it is also the responsibility of the people creating the content and again I would go back to, there are conservative news outlets who are creating irresponsible content that's sharing misinformation about the virus," Bedingfield said.

Bedingfield's comments come after White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said last week the administration is working directly with Facebook to "flag" posts they believe contain misinformation.

"We're flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation," Psaki told reporters.

The White House isn't interested in combatting "misinformation." If that were true, they'd ban themselves. They're interested in shutting down...

Hunter Biden’s Art Dealer Sued for Fraud and Breach of Contract

Hunter Biden’s art dealer, Georges Bergès, was reportedly sued for fraud and breach of contract in 2016 by an investor in his gallery.

“The lawsuit alleged that [Ingrid] Arneberg, an artist herself, had invested $500,000 for the purpose of gallery expansion and that Berges deposited it in his personal bank account to cover expenses,” CBS News reported Wednesday. “Berges countersued for $4.5 million, claiming, among other things, defamation and breach of fiduciary duty. The two settled in 2018 and terms were not disclosed.”

But that is not the only incident in which Hunter Biden’s art dealer has been involved.

Bergès filed for personal bankruptcy in 1998, and “his creditors included credit card companies, a bank, a jeweler and furniture retailer Pier One Imports, according to federal court records. Bankruptcy proceedings ended three months later,” according to the report.

Also, Bergès was arrested in California months before filing for bankruptcy and was “charged with assault with a deadly weapon and ‘terrorist threats,’ according to public records from the Santa Cruz Police Department.”

The police department provided a report to CBS News in which is described police officers responding “to a report of a fight inside the residence involving one suspect with a knife. No injuries reported.”

Georges Bergès Gallery spokeswoman Robin Davis told CBS News Bergès “got into an altercation with a roommate.”

“Court records indicate Berges was sentenced to three years’ probation, but Davis said the felony charges were knocked down to misdemeanors and eventually dismissed,” CBS News reported. “Santa Cruz County officials declined to clarify the outcome of the case. Berges never served probation, Davis said, downplaying the incident.”

The incidents of Hunter Biden’s art dealer are relevant because the two art shows that Berges will throw for Hunter in New York City and Los Angeles rely on Bergès’ character.

The Washington Post reported Bergès “agreed to reject any offer” for Hunter’s “artwork” from anonymous buyers “that he deems suspicious or that comes in over the asking price, according to people familiar with the agreement.”

Also according to the article, Bergès will set the prices for the artwork and withhold “all records, including...

Pfizer Jab Found To Be Only 39% Effective At Stopping Delta Variant

Over the past month, Israel, the world's most heavily vaccinated country (with leading mRNA jabs, no less) has seen the number of positive COVID tests has risen by more than 30x as the number of active infections in the country has surpassed 10K.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Health Ministry, which has previously estimated the true efficacy of the Pfizer jab against the delta variant at only 64% (while still more than 90% effective at preventing serious illness and death), just released new data purporting to show that while the Pfizer jab is still 88% effective at preventing serious illness, it's only 39% effective at preventing infection with delta.

Alex Berenson, a former NYT journalist who has often reported on scientific findings that don't support the official narrative on masks and vaccines, shared the findings in a tweet, and speculated that the true efficacy in offering protection against the Delta variant might be even lower - perhaps as low as 30%.

Even Bloomberg acknowledged that the Israeli data "could be skewed because of different ways of testing vaccinated groups of people versus those who hadn't been innoculated, according to the report.

"The heavily skewed exposure patterns in the recent outbreak in Israel, which are limited to specific population sectors and localities," means the analysis may not be able to take all factors into account, said Ran Balicer, chairman of Israel’s national expert advisory team on Covid-19 response. "We are trying to complement this research approach with additional ones, taking additional personal characteristics into account. But this takes time and larger case numbers."

BBG also acknowledged that the data "are likely to fuel debate over whether booster shots should be given to people who've already been vaccinated - something Pfizer has said it plans to...

Ballooning number of ‘gotaways’ poses public safety, national security risk

At least 270,000 migrants have sneaked into the U.S. and burrowed into communities across the country so far this fiscal year, according to the latest Border Patrol data.

Agents know them as “gotaways” who represent an acute national security risk, according to the head of the National Sheriffs’ Association’s border security committee.

Unlike the migrant children who often surrender to border authorities and the migrants who are caught and screened before release, gotaways sneak through the country’s defenses without any look into their criminal histories.

The Border Patrol is missing about 1,100 of them a day, said Sheriff Mark Dannels of Cochise County, Arizona, who got his numbers directly from the agency.

“These are people that are coming dressed head to toe in camouflage, being smuggled by the cartels,” Sheriff Dannels said. “That is a public safety and national security risk to this country.”

He said his region of southeastern Arizona has borne the brunt of the gotaway traffic, with 90,000 so far this fiscal year.

That is surprising because Texas is getting more migrants overall.

Customs and Border Protection, the Homeland Security agency that guards the nation’s boundaries, didn’t explain why Arizona is experiencing the worst of the crisis.

But agents in the Border Patrol’s Tucson sector have been pulled off the line and deployed on missions to process and care for migrant parents and children. These migrants generally want to be caught so they can take advantage of more relaxed enforcement.

Sheriff Dannels said 300 agents have been moved out of one Border Patrol station and three highway checkpoints have been shut down for months, creating an easier path to get deep into the country.

The Department of Homeland Security has a sense of who is crossing, thanks to a network of cameras and sensors stretched along the southern boundary with Mexico. Subtract how many people are caught, and the difference is the number of known gotaways.

Sheriff Dannels runs his own network of cameras in Cochise and surrounding areas. He said the apprehension rate there is running at only about 36%. The rest are gotaways.

The Texas Department of Public Safety also runs a network of cameras under a program known as Operation Drawbridge. Its numbers suggest the gotaways rate is steadily increasing.

From Jan. 1 to April 7, the department recorded 21,904 gotaways, or nearly 230 a day. From April 8 to July 15, it tallied....

Biden admin promotes radical group pushing critical race theory in schools

A critical race theory handbook is intended to disrupt Whiteness and oppression

The Biden administration's guidance for school reopening promoted a radical activist group’s handbook that advocates for educators to "disrupt Whiteness and other forms of oppression."

The Department of Education linked to the Abolitionist Teaching Network’s "Guide for Racial Justice & Abolitionist Social and Emotional Learning" in its handbook intended to help schools reopen after the COVID-19 pandemic and recommend how they should spend billions of dollars they collectively received through the American Rescue Plan.

The Abolitionist Teaching Network’s website includes links to various materials and media that include language often associated with critical race theory, though the group avoids using the exact phrase.

"Abolitionist Teachers" should "[b]uild a school culture that engages in healing and advocacy. This requires a commitment to learning from students, families, and educators who disrupt Whiteness and other forms of oppression," the group states in its guide.

Critical race theory advocates have argued that the doctrine is not being taught in public schools and that opponents’ complaints are overwrought. But a number of the Abolitionist Teaching Network’s board members and associated activists are current or former educators who push for race-related reform in public schools.

Abolitionist Teaching Network follows CRT dogma

While the Abolitionist Teaching Network’s mission statement is vague, its rhetoric elsewhere indicates that it aims to overhaul schools to prioritize racial awareness.

"Abolitionist Teaching Network's mission is to develop and support those in the struggle for educational freedom utilizing the intellectual work and direct action of Abolitionists in many forms," the group’s website states.

But in the materials referenced by the Department of Education, the group outlines how "Abolitionist Teachers" should guide students toward "Abolitionist" social and...

Sen. Jim Risch on Biden’s Ecoterrorist Nominee: ‘This Attempted Murderer’ Should Be ‘Before a Jury’

Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID) issued a scathing argument against President Joe Biden’s controversial Bureau of Land Management (BLM) nominee, Tracy Stone-Manning, during a committee meeting Thursday, illustrating the dangers of tree spiking amid revelations of Stone-Manning’s involvement in a past tree spiking crime.

Risch spoke ahead of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee voting along party lines, 10–10, for Stone-Manning after heated debate about the nominee’s role in delivering a letter in 1989 on behalf of a since-convicted ecoterrorist.

The Idaho senator, who earned a forestry degree before becoming a successful trial lawyer and later governor of Idaho, explained during the meeting that tree spiking can be deadly because saws explode the way “a hand grenade goes off.”

“Shrapnel goes every direction. It destroys the saw, be it a band saw or a circular saw. … It will either kill or injure anyone that is within range of the shrapnel,” Risch said.

While she was a graduate student at the University of Montana in Missoula in 1989, Stone-Manning mailed a profane letter to the U.S. Forest Service on behalf of John P. Blount, an individual in her “circle of friends,” alerting federal authorities that trees in Idaho’s Clearwater National Forest that were scheduled to be cut down had been sabotaged with metal spikes.

After the Forest Service received the letter, Stone-Manning and six other individuals in Missoula were the target of a 1989 grand jury investigation for which they were subpoenaed and required to submit fingerprints, as well as handwriting and hair samples. However, the 1989 grand jury did not uncover enough evidence to charge Blount or anyone else with the crime. The case was not solved until Blount’s ex-wife reported him to authorities two years later, and in doing so, also named Stone-Manning as the person who mailed the letter for him. In exchange for immunity, Stone-Manning testified in a 1993 trial against Blount, who was later convicted for the tree spiking crime and sentenced to 17 months in prison.

In a questionnaire ahead of Stone-Manning’s June committee hearing, she reported inaccuracies about the tree spiking case, including falsely claiming she was never the target of a federal investigation.

Risch during his remarks also warned spikes in his state’s forest are “still there,” saying he spoke to the Forest Service and was told authorities were unable to remove any leftover spikes because they had no way of knowing which trees they...
