I don't buy the aluminum/dementia connection. My grandpa had terrible dementia and he had no connection to aluminum. Three uncles on Dad's side had dementia and their connection to aluminum was slight. It may have a contribution now, but it sure didn't 70 years ago.

Every body is different. Maybe slight increases in aluminum that really hurt your grandpa might have a different effect on some one else.
