Strzok’s newly discovered FBI notes deliver jolt to ‘Obamagate’ evidence
James Comey had no business meeting with Obama White House on Flynn case, former FBI executive says.
e belated discovery of disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok’s January 2017 notes raises troubling new questions about whether President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden were coordinating efforts during their final days in office to investigate Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn — even as the FBI wanted to shut down the case.
Investigators will need to secure testimony from Strzok, fired two years ago from the FBI, to be certain of the exact meaning and intent of his one paragraph of notes, which were made public in court on Wednesday.
But they appear to illuminate an extraordinary high-level effort by outgoing Obama-era officials during the first weekend of January to find a way to sustain a counterintelligence investigation of Flynn in the absence of any evidence of wrongdoing.
The Justice Department says the notes were written between Jan. 3-5, 2017, the very weekend the FBI agent who had investigated Flynn’s ties to Russia for five months recommended the case be closed because there was “no derogatory” evidence that he committed a crime or posed a counterintelligence threat. FBI supervisors overruled the agent's recommendation.
Strzok’s notes appear to quote then-FBI Director James Comey as suggesting that Flynn’s intercepted calls with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak “appear legit,” bolstering other recently disclosed evidence showing the bureau saw nothing wrong with Flynn’s behavior.
The notes also suggest Biden — who once claimed he had no knowledge of the Flynn probe — raised the issue of the Logan Act, an obscure, centuries-old law, as a possible avenue for continuing to investigate Flynn.
And Strzok appears to quote Obama as suggesting the FBI assign “the right people” to pursue the case.
You can read the notes here:
These conversations, if accurately portrayed in the Strzok notes, occurred during the same three-day period in which FBI supervisors overruled their field agent’s recommendation to shut down the Flynn case and pivoted toward the strategy of luring Flynn into an FBI interview where he might be caught lying.
Sidney Powell, Flynn’s lawyer, laid out the potential ramifications of the notes in a court filing on Wednesday, calling the new evidence “stunning and exculpatory.”
“Mr. Obama himself directed that ‘the right people’ investigate General Flynn. This caused former FBI Director Comey to acknowledge the obvious:
Girlfriend of Man Who Flew “White Lives Matter” Banner Fired From Her Job
She rejected “intensive racial sensitivity training.”
The girlfriend of the man who flew a “white lives matter” banner over a football match in the UK has been fired from her job after refusing to take “intensive racial sensitivity training.”
The banner was seen trailing behind a plane over Manchester City’s Etihad stadium on Monday before the club’s Premier League game with Burnley.
It provoked widespread condemnation and a police investigation, although authorities subsequently concluded that no criminal offense had been committed.
The person responsible for the banner, Burnley fan Jamie Hepple, faced a social media witch hunt although he responded with a Facebook post that said, “I’d like to take this time to apologise… TO ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOBODY!”
However, after a Twitter mob discovered the employment details of his girlfriend Megan, she was fired by Solace Foot Health and Reflexology simply for being guilty by association.
A statement released by the company said they were “willing to try to help Megan by paying for Intensive Racial Sensitivity training” but that Megan had evidently refused to be re-educated and would rather leave, meaning she was effectively fired for being the boyfriend of a man who thinks “white lives matter.”
Solace stressed that Hepple’s mother doesn’t condone her son’s actions so she...

Media fumes after Trump shares video of a black man beating Macy’s clerk in ‘unprovoked attack’
This was a racist hate crime, pure and simple.
The liberal media took a break from fomenting a racially divisive narrative of police brutality not supported by recent statistics to express horror over President Donald Trump sharing a video of a black man beating a white man.
Responding to a tweet from conservative Matt Walsh that featured a large black man pummeling a Macy’s store clerk, the president remarked: “Looks what’s going on here. Where are the protesters? Was this man arrested?”
Looks what’s going on here. Where are the protesters? Was this man arrested? https://t.co/2E1UbU5vNN— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 23, 2020
“This guy brutally assaulted a Macy’s employee because of his race and then slandered him by claiming he said the n-word, which was a lie,” Walsh tweeted. “This is a horrific hate crime and if the races were reversed it would be the only thing we talk about for days.”
The allegation that the smaller, clearly defenseless man used the n-word was shared along with the video online, to justify the brutality seen in the video.
In defense of Walsh’s assertion that this is not true, The Detroit News reported that a Macy’s spokesperson said the attack “was unprovoked.”
“All the materials from the evening have been reviewed and it is clear the attack was unprovoked,” the retailer said in a statement.
The Flint Township Police identified two persons of interest involved in...
SD Gov. Noem on Mount Rushmore Becoming Target of Protesters: ‘Not on My Watch’
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) on Wednesday’s “Fox & Friends” addressed the possibility of Mount Rushmore National Memorial becoming the next target of protesters as calls to remove statues and memorials of leaders with flawed pasts have increased.
In a Tuesday tweet, Noem said nothing will happen to Mount Rushmore on her “watch.” Speaking to “Fox & Friends” on FNC, she stressed the importance of not erasing the United States’ history.
“[W]e’ve seen some activity online where people have made threats to that,” Noem advised. “What my message is, is that this is no longer about equality, this is a radical rewriting of our history and in South Dakota we won’t stand for it. This is a national monument. The more we focus on the flaws of these men that are on our mountain, the less likely we are to recognize the virtues and the lessons we can learn from their lives. So that really is the message that I have for South Dakotans that love this mountain and Mount Rushmore for this country, that recognize what it represents to us and we will do all that we can to make sure that that message is loud and clear, that we will make sure that Mount Rushmore stays as majestic as it is today.”
“This whole conversation has changed,” she added. “It’s gone away from equality and it’s a radical movement that’s rewriting our history, that will take away all the lessons that we...
