Secret Service arrests man in DC, on his way to White House to ‘kill all white police’

Just one day after Devin Patrick Kelley gunned down dozens of people at a Texas Baptist church, another tragedy may have been avoided in Washington, D.C., thanks to some heads-up police work.

Dallas, Texas resident Michael Arega was arrested in the nation’s capitol on Monday afternoon, reportedly on his way to the White House to kill “all white police,” according to a U.S. Secret Service statement.

Around 3 p.m., the Montgomery County Maryland Police Department sent a tip to the Secret Service Protective Intelligence Division to be on the lookout for Arega, who left plenty of clues via social media before heading to D.C. from his Texas home.

According to Heavy.com, “online records show that Arega operated a construction company in the Dallas area named Rehoboth Concrete Construction.”
