It Is A Good Time To Learn To Grow Your Own Food...
Start very small, don't expect much, possibly only an education the first few years. Understand it will eat a lot of your time and more money than you can recoup, probably ever, though efficiency will set in... if you stick to it. I understand. I can't do enough between weeding, watering, upkeep, in the heat, on top of my limited life, to make it work. Still, while expensive, with canning, probiotic souring, and freezing, it will be small amounts of good food you can replace yourself... in good years.
