Have you seen the Japanese bees who have devised a strategy to kill those hornets by luring them into the hive and swarming them, the heat they generate killing the invader.
But the mantis. When I was a child I had a terrarium with several of them. Had to go out and catch bugs for them. One morning I came in and found one being devoured by his mate; forget how my daddy explained that since I was a mere 5 or so.
