I think the last meme goes more like this: Richard Nixon’s CIA agent staff arranged for a (deliberately) clumsy break-in to monitor political opponents communications, and when Nixon considered using the FBI to cover up the situation they (deliberately) put him in, everything was leaked to the press and his own party urged him to resign.

But then it wouldn’t be Obama did the same, because the truth is Obama did far, far worse.
