Thune and Grassley are two peas in a pod (or two rinos in a chamber), and they'll use any damn excuse, no matter how insipid, to block Trump's appointments.
I expected better from Thune, given how blatantly he was cheated out of his first senate race. I bet former majority leader Tom Daschle wishes they had let him win the first time. Now they need a better Republican senator.
