Yeah well, Congress hasn't passed a budget on time since 1996. Twenty-nine years!
Arguing over a Continuing Resolution is horse shit. Arguing over a CR as if a CR is normal, as if in compliance with the law.
Er, I mean thirty years. That is, for the 2026 fiscal year. But they're not even arguing over that. On the table is a CR for spending through Nov. 21st
A resolution. As in, proclaiming such and such day in such and such year honoring so and so person. That is a normal resolution. But a series of Cars through the year to keep govt funded ... a helluva way to run a country.
They all should be horse whipped. Then tarred.
