The Bombshell Connection Between George Soros And Jussie Smollett’s Release

By now, everyone knows who Kim Foxx is. But just in case you’ve been living under a rock the past week, Foxx is the Cook County State’s Attorney who got “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett off the hook for his fake-hate crime in Chicago.

Today, there’s another twist in the case. And it’s an absolute doozy.

This time, it involves a name that has become infamous in circles of corruption and intrigue on the extreme left. It’s a name you’re guaranteed to know. I’ll hold off of any more suspense, since I’m guessing you already read the title of this piece. It’s none other than George Soros.

Because of course it was!

As it turns out, it was George Soros who donated $408,000 to a super PAC affiliated with Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who shocked the country by dropping all charges against Smollett.

From Conservative Tribune:
In 2016, Soros contributed a total of $408,000 toward Illinois Safety & Justice, according to state campaign finance records.

And Illinois Safety & Justice is a super PAC that’s affiliated with Friends for Foxx, the prosecutor’s candidate committee.

It’s not uncommon for Soros to spend ludicrous amounts of money on local elections for far-left candidates.

Last year, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that Soros similarly spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on district attorney races throughout Northern California. …

Oh, and as we previously reported, the Obamas are also involved. The former first family is connected to the Smollett case through Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff, Tina Tchen, who was instrumental in convincing Foxx to drop...

China turning its massive shipping container fleet into warships with long-range cruise missiles

China is reportedly fitting container ships with silos for long-range cruise missiles, effectively turning its massive freighter fleet into an extension of the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN)

The Washington Free Beacon reports that by adding cruise missiles to freighters, China is also essentially turning ports into military bases as well.

The site noted:
The new missile is in flight testing and is a land-attack variant of an advanced anti-ship missile called the YJ-18C, according to American defense officials.

The missile will be deployed in launchers that appear from the outside to be standard international shipping containers used throughout the world for moving millions of tons of goods, often on the deck of large freighters.

The YJ-18C is China’s version of the Club-K cruise missile built by Russia that also uses a launcher disguised as a shipping container. Israel also is working on a container-launched missile called the Lora.

If this doesn’t add a new wrinkle to the Trump administration’s trade negotiations to China, nothing does.

In fact, the discovery comes as the White House is completing details of a final trade agreement with Beijing that includes provisions allaying American concerns regarding illicit Chinese trade practices that no doubt includes theft of U.S. intellectual property.

In addition, however, the missile could also complicate and even disrupt Chinese plans to buy or build international ports as part of its Belt and Road Initiative that will provide Chinese warships and military assets a large network of bases and...

U.S. Must Put A Ban On Google Helping China Develop A Global Digital Dictatorship

General Joseph Dunford, America’s top military officer, has announced he will be meeting with Google representatives this week to talk about the company’s assistance to China’s People’s Liberation Army.

Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, first stoked the controversy over Google on March 14 during his appearance before the Senate Armed Services Committee. “The work that Google is doing in China is indirectly benefiting the Chinese military,” he said.

“We watch with great concern when industry partners work in China knowing that there is that indirect benefit,” he added later. “Frankly, ‘indirect’ maybe not be a full characterization of the way it really is. It’s more of a direct benefit to the Chinese military.”

Google issued a firm denial in response to Dunford’s comments. “We are not working with the Chinese military,” a spokesperson said. “We are working with the U.S. government, including the Department of Defense, in many areas including cybersecurity, recruiting and healthcare.”

But Dunford is correct. The denial, even if technically accurate, is nonetheless misleading. Google maintains arrangements that it either knows or should know directly benefit the Chinese military.

For instance, in December 2017 the company announced the formation of the Google AI China Center in Beijing.

Due to Chinese ruler Xi Jinping’s announced policy of “civil-military fusion,” there is no longer any meaningful distinction between civil and military research, especially in areas like AI that Xi has determined China must dominate. As Bob Work, once U.S. deputy defense secretary, said of the new facility in the Chinese capital, “Anything that’s going on in that center is going to be used by the military.”

Similarly, acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan sounded the alarm at that Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on March 14. “The fusion of commercial business with military is significant,” he said. “The technology that is developed in the civil world transfers to the military world. It’s a direct pipeline. Not only is there a transfer, there’s also systematic theft of U.S. technology that facilitates even faster development of emerging technology.”

Dunford, in comments last Thursday, pointed to the requirement of having Communist Party cells in companies. The cells, he said, will lead to the transfer of intellectual property to the Chinese military.

The Daily Beast asked Google if its AI China Center hosts a Communist Party cell but has not received a reply.

Google’s AI center in Beijing is not the only project of concern. “Google is partnering with several state entities for various projects to expedite their research,” Bandon Weichert, a national security analyst specializing in emerging technology, told The Daily Beast.

The company is already participating in AI research at Tsinghua University, one of China’s two premier institutions, and is cooperating with Peking University, the other top institution, and the University of...
