My cooking is better(generally) I use the best fresh(although my diet is 95% animal protein-the fish is wild caught, the beef is grass finished, the eggs & chicken are mine and the pork is pasture raised. It's much less expensive I can have a couple glasses of wine & not worry about driving home.
That being said if there was a really good sushi restaurant here, I'd have to hit it once in a while.

I don't eat out anymore-

The most expensive turkey dinner I've had, by far, was the turkeys I raised myself.
