ICE HAS SPENT MORE THAN $100 MILLION ON TRANSPORTATION COSTS FOR ILLEGAL ALIEN CHILDREN IN THE LAST TWO YEARS

The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) obtained government ICE records that show that the agency has spent over $100 million in the last few years in transporting illegal alien children who have crossed the border since the 2014 border surge began. According to the IRLI’s calculations ICE spent on average $665 per minor in 2014, mostly on transportation costs to fly the children between government agencies, to relatives in the U.S. or back to their home countries if deported.

In October alone 6,754 unaccompanied children and 13,123 parents with children were apprehended at the border, one of the worst months on record. Transportation for these children will cost taxpayers around $4.5 million.

Children who are in ICE’s custody are housed in hotels versus detention centers, which accounts for more than 25% of the agency’s cost. Another 58% is spent on airplane transportation.

After being processed children are transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which then sends the children to relatives or sponsors in the U.S, all paid for by the American taxpayers.

According to a recent Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) report HHS currently has 11,200 children in their direct care as of Nov. 27. The agency is paying the most it has ever paid for shelters since it’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) was started.

In order to pay for the increase of care for illegal alien children HHS had to cut $167 million from other programs including HIV/AIDS and...

Illegal Alien Charged with 4 Murders Looks to Evade Death Penalty with ‘Intellectually Disabled’ Label

An illegal alien charged with murdering four Americans is looking to evade the death penalty by classifying himself as “intellectually disabled.”

Wilbur Ernesto Martinez-Guzman, a 20-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was charged with murdering 56-year-old Connie Koontz, 74-year-old Sophia Renken, 81-year-old Gerald David, and his 80-year-old wife, Sharon David, in January 2019 when prosecutors said he was attempting to steal money from his victims to buy more meth.

Now, Martinez-Guzman’s attorneys seek to classify him as “intellectually disabled” so he can evade the death penalty. The attorneys have appealed their case to Nevada’s Supreme Court, claiming that they need more time to gather evidence that their client is intellectually disabled.

The Associated Press reports:
Nevada’s Supreme Court wants to hear directly from lawyers on both sides in a death penalty dispute over how much more time public defenders should have to try to prove a Salvadoran immigrant is intellectually disabled and can’t be executed if convicted of four 2019 Nevada killings.

Deputy Defender John Reese Petty said in their most recent Supreme Court filings the motion hasn’t been filed yet because they’ve been unable to gather necessary evidence in Guzman’s native El Salvador due largely to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

A clinical psychologist concluded in an evaluation that’s been sealed in district court that Martinez-Guzman’s general intellectual and cognitive test scores fell well below levels needed to satisfy key elements of Nevada’s execution exemption, the defense said.
Previously, a Nevada judge said Martinez-Guzman’s attorneys had until April 20 to prove he is intellectually disabled. They claim they need more time to travel to El Salvador and gather evidence to prove their case.

Among those allegedly murdered by Martinez-Guzman was:

Illegal Alien Out On Bond Kills Sixth Grade Teacher On Thanksgiving

Criminal Illegal Alien, Joel Velazquez
An illegal alien who was killed a 28-year-old teacher in a hit and run on Thanksgiving Day was out on bond when it happened.

He is now being held on $125,000 bail and has an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer, KFox reported.

El Paso Police arrested the man they say was behind the wheel in a deadly hit and run Thanksgiving morning on Cincinnati and Mesa street.

24-year-old Joel Velazquez, is now facing charges of an accident involving death.

KFOX14 Investigates has learned at the time of the crash he was out on bond from a 2017 assault charge. He appears to be in the country illegally and is now currently on an ICE detention hold, related to his immigration status, meaning he cannot bond out of jail.
Mandy Ferguson Weyant
If he could, his bond is set at $125,000.

Police say he blew through a red light just before 2 a.m. Thursday morning.

That’s when he hit Amanda “Mandy” Ferguson Weyant, who was in the crosswalk, and took off. Police later found his vehicle abandoned on Cincinnati.

Mandy was a sixth grade teacher at...

Illegal Alien Murders 4 in Jurisdiction of Sheriff Sued for Reporting Alien Criminals to ICE

Months after a California sheriff got sued for reporting undocumented criminals to federal authorities, an illegal immigrant with a criminal history murdered four people in the veteran law enforcement official’s jurisdiction just days after being released from jail. The brutal crimes occurred in Sacramento, California where Sheriff Scott Jones was recently sued by a leftist civil rights group for transferring illegal alien offenders to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for removal rather than release them back into the community under state sanctuary laws known as the TRUTH Act and the California Values Act. The first one, which went into effect in 2017, requires that local police give criminals in the U.S. illegally a written notice of their transfer to ICE. The second, which was enacted a year later, forbids all California law enforcement agencies from using funds or employees to “investigate, interrogate, detain or arrest persons for immigration enforcement purposes.” The measure is also known as SB 54.

The Golden State’s outrageous sanctuary laws protected 39-year-old Mexican national David Mora-Rojas from deportation after at least two encounters with the law. In April 2021, the mother of his three children obtained a restraining order against him after a domestic violence incident, according to the Sacremento County Sheriff’s Office, which confirms that the order specifically states Mora-Rojas cannot own or possess firearms or ammunition. On February 23, 2022, Mora-Rojas was arrested Merced County about 115 miles south of Sacramento for driving under the influence, assaulting a police officer, and assaulting medical staff. ICE served a detainer on the jail, but state sanctuary laws prohibited Merced officials from holding Mora-Rojas or communicating with ICE about his release, so the illegal immigrant walked out of jail on a $15,000 bond.

Five days later Mora-Rojas shot his three daughters and a court-ordered chaperone at a Sacramento church before shooting himself. The girls were nine, 10 and 13 years old. Mora-Rojas used an Armalite Rifle (AR) style gun with no serial number or manufacturer makings, according to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office, which describes it as a Privately Made Firearm (PMF). The rifle had an extended 30-round magazine inserted and 17 casings were found at the scene. The horrific crimes occurred on February 28 at around 5 p.m. at the Church in Sacramento which is located in a residential neighborhood. The church issued a statement expressing shock and sadness, “resulting in the deaths of five of our members,” which seems to include the shooter. One Sacramento news report says court documents paint a disturbing picture of verbal and physical abuse inflicted by Mora-Rojas on the mother of his three kids, yet he was allowed to remain in the country illegally.

In the tragedy’s aftermath, Sheriff Jones is publicly expressing outrage. The 33-year law enforcement veteran is currently serving his third term as the top cop in the central California county of around 1.6 million that includes the state’s capitol. In a social media post Jones writes that “there is only ONE thing that allowed this horrific tragedy to occur with certainty: the deplorable state of our national immigration policies, and California’s Sanctuary State Laws.” Jones warns that liberals and activists will try to spin the narrative, dredge up sympathy for the monster that killed the victims and focus on the horrors of ghost guns. “When I was invited to the White House by President Trump in 2018 to discuss immigration failures in our country, I described California’s Sanctuary State law as creating ‘spectacular failures’ all over this state,” Jones writes. “I was criticized in The [Sacramento] Bee and elsewhere for that statement, but I defy them now to color this tragic event any other way.”

In November Jones was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for transferring illegal immigrants convicted of state crimes to...

Six-Time Deported Illegal Alien Accused of Killing Colorado Grandmother

A six-time deported illegal alien has been arrested for allegedly killing a 51-year-old Colorado grandmother after being released from local law enforcement custody.

Juan Sanchez, a Mexican illegal alien who has already been deported from the United States six times over the last decade, was arrested last week and charged with vehicular homicide and fleeing the scene of an accident after he allegedly hit and killed Annette Conquering Bear, a grandmother, while she was walking home from Walgreens, 9 News reported.

Sanchez, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials revealed, was deported from the U.S. twice in 2002, three times in 2008, and in 2012. Sometime after his last deportation, he illegally re-entered the...

Previously Deported Illegal Alien Wanted for Child Rape Shot by Police After Pulling a Gun

An illegal alien shot and killed by police during an attempted arrest in Arlington, Texas on Thursday was wanted on eleven sex offense charges, including crimes against children. Juan Jimenez-Salas had been previously deported from the United States.

A felony arrest warrant for Jimenez-Salas was issued months ago, with the Mexican national charged with five counts of rape and six counts of indecency with a child. It was alleged the illegal alien had committed sexual assault against two sisters under the ages of ten.

On Thursday, US Marshals working with Arlington police officers encountered Jimenez-Salas during a traffic stop. It’s alleged he reached for a gun during the arrest, and after pointing it at an officer was shot and killed.

It appears that Jimenez-Salas was deported from the United States are being charged with sex offenses similar to that he was recently charged with. “Approximately 20 years ago, he was arrested on felony charges similar to that on what we have on him in this case now. And he was deported back to Mexico,” said Captain Scott Harwell of the El Dorado Police Department.

If Jimenez-Salas had been kept out of the country after his first sex crimes deportation, the second round of sex offenses against children never would’ve occurred. It’s unclear when he returned to the United States.

Customs and Border Patrol officers have arrested dozens of previously deported sex offenders on the US southern border in the latest...

‘Clear Public Safety Threat’: ICE Rips Sanctuary County For Releasing Illegal Alien Convicted For Deadly Car Crash

  • Jose Barajas-Diaz, an illegal alien from Mexico, was involved in a deadly drunk-driving accident in North Carolina, and ultimately convicted of felony death by motor vehicle.
  • The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office refused to honor an ICE detainer placed on Barajas-Diaz and released him from custody without cooperating with the agency. ICE agents captured him days later.
  • The episode marked the latest example of Mecklenburg County refusing to work with federal immigration authorities since the arrival of Sheriff Garry McFadden.

Officials in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, refused to honor an ICE detainer placed on an illegal alien convicted in a deadly driving drunk driving accident, opting instead to release him back into the community.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed a detainer request on Jose Barajas-Diaz, a Mexican national living illegally in the U.S., a day after he was arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina, in January for driving while impaired and for felony death by motor vehicle. After his sentencing in October, however, the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office refused to honor the ICE detainer, and released him from their custody.

ICE agents were able to locate and apprehend Barajas-Diaz several days later.

“This is yet another example of a clear public safety threat being released into North Carolina communities rather than into ICE custody due to local sheriff policies on ICE non-cooperation,” Matthew Albence, the acting director of ICE, said in a Monday statement provided to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Continued decisions to refuse cooperation with ICE serve as an open invitation to aliens who commit criminal offenses that these counties are a safe haven for persons seeking to evade federal authorities, and residents of Mecklenburg County are less safe due to these misguided sanctuary policies,” Albence continued.

Barajas-Diaz was first arrested on Jan. 29 by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department following an accident that killed a motorcyclist. He made a U-turn in his truck onto inbound lanes, striking the motorcyclist, and killing him on the scene, according to...

Courthouses Are Safe Spaces for Illegal Alien Felons, ICE Are “Stalkers” Says CA Chief Justice

Courthouses are not places to enforce the law against illegal alien criminals and instituting travel bans against terror nations is a violation of the law, so says a California justice.

One justice – among many – is demanding courthouses and their nearby surroundings be declared sanctuaries.
California chief justice, Tani Cantil-Sakauye, is redefining “the rule of law” to mean there must be no arrests of illegal alien felons in courthouses or their surroundings, calling enforcement a “violation”.

Courthouses are where laws are intended to be interpreted and enforced but she missed that in law school apparently.

The Washington Post article about this woman presented her unlawful opinion as if it were a legitimate complaint against the President.

INSPECTOR GENERAL BLAMES OBAMA IMMIGRATION POLICY FOR ILLEGAL ALIEN MURDER OF CONNECTICUT WOMAN

At the request of Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), and Rep. Joe Courtney (D-Conn.) DHS’ Office of Inspector General released a report showing that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials “could have and should have done more to remove Jean Jacques from this country before he had the chance to brutally murder Casey Chadwick."

Jean Jacques, an illegal alien, had been released only five months after serving 17 years in prison for an attempted murder in a separate case when he stabbed and killed 25-year-old Casey Chadwick in her home in 2015. Jacques had a final order of removal to be deported after serving his 17 years but ICE was forced to release him after their three attempts to deport him failed due to a Supreme Court ruling that limits how long an illegal alien can be detained.
Casey Chadwick died from stab wounds to her head and neck

According to the DHS report ICE lacked the documents needed to prove Jacques’ nationality so Haiti denied all three attempts by ICE to deport him back to his home country. After the third attempt the Haitian official said that ICE should try to go through the Haiti consulate in Miami, FL to get the documents needed to prove Jacques was a Haitian citizen. There are no records that ICE reached out to the consulate or that the agency formally escalated this case to get the State Department’s help in deporting....

DACA Is Not What the Democrats Say It Is. Here Are the Facts.

Some members of Congress are threatening to block government funding unless Congress provides amnesty to so-called Dreamers—the illegal aliens included in President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which President Donald Trump is ending.

Responsible members of Congress should not give in.

Such an effort would be fundamentally flawed and would only encourage even more illegal immigration—just as the 1986 amnesty in the Immigration Reform and Control Act did.

Democrats portray the DACA program as only benefitting those who were a few years old when they came to the U.S. illegally, leaving them unable to speak their native language and ignorant of their countries’ cultural norms. Therefore, the reasoning goes, it would be a hardship to return them to the countries where they were born.

Obama himself gave this rationale when he said DACA beneficiaries were “brought to this country by their parents” as infants and face “deportation to a country that [they] know nothing about, with a language” they don’t even speak.

While this may be true of a small portion of the DACA population, it certainly is not true of all of the aliens who received administrative amnesty. In fact, illegal aliens were eligible as long as they came to the U.S. before their 16th birthday and were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012.

DACA also required that beneficiaries enroll in school, graduate from high school, obtain a GED certificate, or receive an honorable discharge from the military; have no conviction for a felony, significant misdemeanor, or three or more other misdemeanors; and not pose a threat to national security or public safety.

However, the Obama administration appeared to routinely waive the education (or its equivalent) requirement as long as the illegal alien was enrolled in some kind of program. Only 49 percent of DACA beneficiaries have a high school education—despite the fact that a majority of them are adults.

How thorough was Homeland Security vetting? In February 2017, after the arrest of a DACA beneficiary for gang membership, the Department of Homeland Security admitted that at least 1,500 DACA beneficiaries had their eligibility terminated “due to a criminal conviction, gang affiliation, or a criminal conviction related to gang affiliation.”

By August 2017, that number had surged to 2,139.

In fact, based on documents obtained by Judicial Watch, it is apparent that the Obama administration used a “lean and light” system of background checks in which only a few, randomly selected DACA applicants were ever actually vetted.

Additionally, DACA only excluded individuals for convictions. Thus, even if a Homeland Security background investigation—which apparently was almost never done—produced substantial evidence that an illegal alien might have committed multiple crimes, the alien would still be eligible for DACA unless Homeland Security referred the violation to...

Illegal Alien Charged With Killing Mollie Tibbetts Worked Under The Name 'John Budd'

Illegal alien Cristhian Bahena Rivera, who has been accused of murdering Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts, used the alias "John Budd" in his employment records and his employers want everyone to think they were none the wiser.
The Mexican man charged with abducting and killing an Iowa college student was known for years on the dairy farm where he worked by another name: John Budd.

The alias has emerged as Cristhian Bahena Rivera’s employer, a dairy farm operation owned by a prominent Republican family, faces questions over whether its managers were aware of any warning signs that he may have been in the country illegally.

The name under which Rivera was hired and paid for the last four years was confirmed by three people with knowledge of his employment history, according to the Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information during an ongoing criminal investigation. One of the people said Rivera’s work identity as John Budd appears in official government records.

The Des Moines Register could not independently confirm the information reported Wednesday by the AP. Law enforcement officials, including ones with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and Bahena Rivera's lawyers, Chad and Jennifer Frese, would not say whether he used the name.

Bahena Rivera's employer, Yarrabee Farms, also declined to confirm or deny Rivera’s work identity. Lori Chesser, an immigration employment lawyer advising the farm, said that companies cannot discriminate against workers based on how they look or how their names sound.

Questioning whether Mexican illegal alien Cristhian Bahena Rivera's actual name was John Budd would have been "pretty racist," retired federal prosecutor Bob Teig told The Des Moines Register:

Employers typically do not face legal consequences for hiring a worker under false documents as long as they were not involved in obtaining them and had no other obvious reason to suspect they are fraudulent, said Bob Teig, a retired federal prosecutor in Iowa.

“Absent unusual circumstances, it would be difficult to show they knew any more than what they were told,” Teig said, adding that it would be “pretty racist” to assume a John Budd could not be Hispanic.

Whether anyone else knew Bahena Rivera as John Budd is unclear. The 24-year-old had a Facebook page under his real name, and his account listed many friends from the central Iowa area. He has a...

Study: Illegal Immigration Is Costing Taxpayers a STAGGERING Amount of Money

Illegal immigration is costing taxpayers $151 billion every year — a 30% increase since 2017.

“The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers 2023,” a report by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), concludes that taxpayers spend $182 billion annually on illegal immigrants. That number is partially offset by illegal aliens paying $31 billion in taxes. FAIR estimates that tax revenue is collected from 15.5 million illegal aliens — far more than the government’s 11.3 million estimated illegal alien numbers, which are based on population surveys.

The cost to taxpayers supporting 11-15 million people who refused to go through the legal process of crossing the border and applying for a green card that would allow them to work in the U.S. isn’t really the point. It’s the loss of sovereignty. Every other nation on earth is allowed to determine who gets in and who stays out. Why America has to be different in this regard is a mystery.

Fox News:
While illegal immigrants are not eligible for the majority of federal welfare programs, the study also takes into account services, such as education and food assistance programs, provided to the U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants and also programs that they may be eligible for at the state level.

The largest cost that FAIR identifies is K-12 education, which the group estimates costs a total of $78 billion a year. Health care – including uncompensated hospital expenditures, Medicaid fraud and Medicaid for U.S. born children – is estimated to cost $42.7 billion a year. Costs related to criminal justice at the federal, state and local levels, which includes federal immigration enforcement, are estimated at approximately $47 billion a year.
“As America struggles to meet countless societal needs while facing the realities of our staggering $31 trillion national debt, the costs of providing for millions of people who have no legal right to be in the United States continues to grow at an alarming rate,” FAIR President Dan Stein said in a statement.

Adding $151 billion to a $31 trillion national debt is immaterial. It’s the drain on resources — criminal justice, healthcare, and education — that matters. This is especially true since the costs of illegal immigration varies from state to state.

California spends $31 billion on illegals — far and away the most of any state. The cost to Texas is $12 billion, largely because the state doesn’t dole out benefits to illegals that encourage more of the same.

The authors note that it is difficult to get a clear picture of the illegal immigrant population, given many sources rely on self-reported data and many such immigrants are reluctant to reveal information to avoid discovery by authorities. The report also faults a lack of transparency from government agencies when it comes to data on the subject. As a result, estimates of not only costs but also how many illegal immigrants are in the U.S. overall, have varied wildly depending on the group. Groups that have called for looser immigration restrictions have challenged FAIR’s previous studies.

The report comes as the U.S. is still being wracked by a historic migrant crisis that saw more than 1.7 million migrant encounters in FY 2021 and more than 2.3 million in FY 2022. FY 2023 has so far eclipsed the numbers from the prior year, although the Biden administration has linked a sharp drop in numbers between December and January to policies it rolled out in early January.

The Biden administration — much to the chagrin of...

New Report Details Stunning Cost of Illegal Immigration

An investigation by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) found that illegal immigration costs American taxpayers nearly $135 billion each year.

The recently released report, The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers (2017), found that the cost of illegal immigration is too monumental to ignore. The U.S. needs immigration reform.

From FAIR’s report:

At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $134.9 billion to cover the costs incurred by the presence of more than 12.5 million illegal aliens, and about 4.2 million citizen children of illegal aliens. That amounts to a tax burden of approximately $8,075 per illegal alien family member. These figures are before taxes paid by illegal aliens are factored in.

The standard answer from the left concerning illegal immigration’s cost to taxpayers is that illegal aliens pay some taxes.

FAIR found that even factoring in taxes paid by illegal aliens, the total fiscal cost of illegal immigration on taxpayers stands at nearly $116 billion.

That’s $116 billion that state and local taxpayers are stuck with, all because of a failure to...

IRS and Congress Ignore Job-Related Felonies – as Long as They Are Committed by Illegal Aliens

During a recent Senate hearing chaired by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), Sen. Dan Coats (R-Ind.) focused on the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) support of identity theft by illegal aliens and the IRS's total disregard for the American citizen victims of these crimes. Coats defined employment-related identity theft as occurring when someone uses another person's identity — their name or their Social Security number (SSN) — to get a job illegally.

The hearing also exposed the failure of Congress to do anything to protect American citizens from massive illegal alien job-related identity theft, leading me to think that what needs to be done is to provide the Social Security numbers of all members of Congress plus the Social Security numbers of all IRS officials and their staffs to illegal aliens so they can file their taxes without stealing the identities of average American citizens.

IRS and Congress Encourage and Tolerate Illegal Alien, Job-Related Felonies

Three key points came from the interchange between Sen. Coates and IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.

  1. The IRS encourages and facilitates the commission of job-related felonies, including Social Security fraud, forgery, perjury, and identity theft as long as these crimes are committed by illegal aliens and their employers.
  2. The IRS places the interests of illegal aliens ahead of those of American citizens by forbidding its employees from notifying American citizens, including millions of American children, that their Social Security numbers are being fraudulently used by illegal aliens in spite of the fact that these Americans suffer serious harm.
  3. Congress is complicit since it has long been aware of the problem but has done nothing to protect American citizens from...

Biden to Crack Down on Arrests of Illegal Aliens in American Communities

President Joe Biden’s top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials are set to issue a new memo that is likely to further cripple Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents’ ability to arrest illegal aliens.

A class-action lawsuit, initially brought by a number of open borders groups, demanded recourse for illegal aliens who were arrested by ICE agents as part of “collateral arrests” in traffic stops and often without a judicial warrant.

As a result, a settlement was approved this month by the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois that will hamper ICE agents’ ability to arrest illegal aliens, particularly in the Midwest.

Biden’s DHS is ordered to issue a new nationwide policy that requires ICE agents to consider a variety of factors before arresting illegal aliens in traffic stops and without a warrant. Particularly, ICE agents will only be allowed to make traffic stop arrests if they have reasonable suspicion to believe that illegal aliens are in the vehicle.

ICE officials will also be required to document the legal basis for each traffic stop arrest of an illegal alien and agents will have to undergo new training measures to comply with the policies.

Across Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, and Kentucky, the settlement allows illegal aliens who were arrested by ICE agents via a traffic stop or without a warrant to seek recourse by being released from federal custody.

The policy is certain to further cripple interior immigration enforcement.

Already, Biden has successfully cut arrests and deportations of illegal aliens thanks to his so-called “sanctuary country” orders that ban ICE from arresting and deporting most of the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens.

For instance, in the first eight months of Biden’s presidency, DHS deported just...

Slimy NGOs Sent Tens of Thousands of Illegal Aliens to All 50 States

The Heritage Foundation’s newly published Oversight Project revealed the degree of involvement of American taxpayer-funded non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have had in sending tens of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens to towns across every state in the Union.

This project highlighted how there were roughly 30,000 unique mobile devices at 35 NGO centers and one Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility stationed on the southern border.

John Binder of Breitbart News noted that the investigation “confirmed that a host of NGOs are actively facilitating” vast amounts illegal immigration into the United States interior as CBP transfers breath-taking numbers of border crossers and illegal aliens to NGOs, which receive taxpayer funds. Then these NGOs provide transportation services to send illegal alien arrivals to all 50 states.

“Devices that were at these NGO facilities later appeared in all but one congressional district in the United States,” the investigation observed. The investigation added:

The investigation confirms that the Biden border crisis affects all of America and that NGOs are playing a central role in the mass resettlement of illegal aliens in the United States. Worse, this flow of illegal immigration helps enable cartels to bring terrorists, criminals, and deadly drugs like fentanyl into the United States.

Throughout multiple phases of this investigation, the Oversight Project found out that tens of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens had arrived at NGO centers prior to being transported to all except one congressional district across the US.

One shocking aspect of the Biden regime is that its Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has entrusted NGOs with the role of providing shelter to border crossers and illegal aliens at the border prior to transporting them into the American interior through domestic commercial flights and buses.

As long as politicians, the NGO-industrial complex, and Big Business are committed to open borders, more schemes to bring illegal aliens into the country will become the norm. These people don’t view America as a unique people and place. Instead, they view it as a multicultural shopping mall that must be subject to all sorts of...

An Illegal Immigrant Killed Her Son, a Police Officer. Here’s How This Mom Fights to Save Others.

A mother whose son died after a car wreck caused by an illegal immigrant with a criminal record who was drunk and high on drugs says his death left a permanent scar on her life.

“When he was taken from me, there was a huge part of my life that was taken,” Mary Ann Mendoza told The Daily Signal in an interview about her son Brandon, who served as a police sergeant in Mesa, Arizona.

Mendoza, a Realtor who now also calls herself an activist against illegal immigration, founded Angel Families with another woman who lost a daughter to an illegal immigrant and drunk driver.

Five years ago, Mendoza and her son had just celebrated Mother’s Day by having dinner together the day before the accident.

Brandon Mendoza was on his way home from work on May 12, 2014, when a vehicle driven by the repeat offender “slammed head-on” into his car in Tempe, she said.

Her son died in surgery about three hours later. He was 32.

Raul Silva-Corona, 42, the illegal immigrant responsible for the crash, was determined to be “three-times-the-legal-limit drunk, high on meth, [and] had driven over 35 miles the wrong way on the freeways here in Phoenix,” Mendoza said.

Mendoza wrote a letter to President Barack Obama in July 2014 asking for answers about her son’s death and why her son’s killer had not been deported.

Brandon was the only one of her four children who wasn’t married with kids of his own, she told The Daily Signal, so they used to travel and do other things together.

Mendoza, who is divorced and lives in Mesa, said she was awakened by a call about 2:45 a.m. to inform her that her son had been in a terrible accident:

I was woke up out of deep sleep, and I kept trying to call Brandon’s cell phone. He wasn’t answering, and a few minutes later the Mesa Police Department came to my house, rang the doorbell. I knew when we drove up to the hospital, the police presence there, I just knew that it wasn’t good. That’s the day that my life changed forever.

Silva-Corona, the illegal alien, reportedly was not deported in 1994 after being convicted of several crimes in Colorado. He also died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Mendoza, who met in March with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, said her son had a generous heart.

“He spent a lot of time at the Boys and Girls Club at the Mesa Arts Academy, [and] made sure that the children knew the importance of staying in school, staying out of gangs, staying away from drugs,” Mendoza said.

Mendoza said Brandon “would spend his own money and go and get pizza or ice cream for them after he had spent his time off playing kickball with them in the park.”

Her son also bought presents for area children who weren’t going to be able to have much for Christmas.

Mendoza founded Angel Families with Michelle Root, whose daughter Sarah was killed in 2016 in Omaha in a car crash caused by Eswin Mejia, a 19-year-old illegal immigrant from Honduras who police said was driving drunk.

The two angel parents’ organization works to educate the public about crimes committed by illegal aliens and bring them to the forefront of society. “Angel parents” refers to those whose children have been killed by illegal immigrants.

Mendoza said her son’s death at the hands of an illegal immigrant underscores the increasing need for border security and...

DOJ Rewards Law-Breaking Sanctuary Cities, States with $342 Million in “Grants”

The Obama administration rewards sanctuary states, counties and cities that shield violent illegal immigrants from deportation with hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grants and one of the biggest recipients recently made headlines for protecting a serial criminal who murdered a young woman. The money flows through the Department of Justice (DOJ), the agency responsible for enforcing the law and defending the interests of the United States. The DOJ is also charged with providing federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime, according to its mission statement, and seeking just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior.

Apparently this doesn’t apply to local governments that support the president’s broad open borders policies, even when they violate federal law. The DOJ doled out $342,168,401 to 10 sanctuary states and cities that proudly reject federal claims for criminal illegal aliens earmarked for removal, according to the agency’s independent watchdog. Among them is Connecticut, a trailblazer in the sanctuary movement that received more than $69 million in grants from the DOJ. Connecticut has long protected illegal immigrants with sanctuary policies and even offers them special drivers’ licenses, known as Drive Only. The state also gives illegal aliens discounted tuition at public colleges and universities and authorities work hard to restrict the feds from deporting illegal immigrants. Last year an illegal immigrant who had spent 17 years in prison for attempted murder stabbed a 25-year-old woman to death in Norwich, a city of about 40,000 residents. The murderer had been earmarked for deportation at least three times.

California, also a renowned sanctuary state that offers illegal immigrants a number of taxpayer-funded perks, topped the list with $132,409,635 in DOJ grants. Judicial Watch has investigated the state’s illegal sanctuary policies for years and back in 2008 launched a California public records request with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department to obtain the arrest and booking information on Edwin Ramos, an illegal alien from El Salvador who murdered three innocent American citizens. Ramos was a member of a renowned violent street gang and had been convicted of two felonies as a juvenile (a gang-related assault on a bus passenger and the attempted robbery of a pregnant woman) yet he was allowed to remain in the country. Last year Judicial Watch obtained records showing that violent crime—including murder and rape—in the Bay area has skyrocketed since...

Joe Biden Ignores ‘Day of Remembrance for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens’

Joe Biden ignored the plight of Angel Families on November 1, failing to mark the “National Day of Remembrance for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens” which was first declared by former President Trump.

In October 2020, then-President Trump made a presidential proclamation to honor American citizens killed by illegal aliens. Like in 2021, Biden again ignored the day and instead focused on campaigning with Florida Democrats Val Demings and Charlie Crist.

Meanwhile, Trump welcomed Angel Mom Sabine Durden Coulter to Mar-a-Lago to speak about illegal immigration and its impact on American families like hers. Durden Coulter’s son, Dominic, was killed in 2012 by illegal alien Juan Zacarias Tzun — a twice-convicted drunk driver whom sanctuary state California officials failed to deport.

Earlier this year, Durden was suspended from Twitter for speaking about illegal immigration.

Biden’s insistence to ignore Angel Families, the loved ones of those killed by illegal aliens, comes as his administration has sought to dismantle the protective network of support imposed by Trump.

In 2017, Trump created the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Victim Of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) office to help Angel Families navigate their cases while they make their way through criminal court. In 2020, VOICE’s hotline received about 700 calls from victims requesting assistance.

Last year, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) got rid of the VOICE office to implement the Victims Engagement and Services Line (VESL) to aid illegal aliens. Biden’s VESL hotline will help American victims but also provide services to illegal aliens seeking...

Gov. Ron DeSantis Gets Tough Protecting Florida From Biden's Nat. Sanctuary Policy

In an extraordinary letter, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is now demanding that the Biden Administration stop its illicit practice of releasing dangerous criminal illegal aliens in lieu of the Administration’s attempt to nationalize a “sanctuary city” policy.

According to Breitbart News, Acting ICE Director Tae Johnson recently ordered that agents not pursue illegal aliens for arrest and deportation until they have been convicted of aggravated felonies against Americans - despite the majority of illegal alien crimes targeting other immigrants.

For context, this means that under the Biden Administration, about 9-in-10 illegal aliens who would have otherwise been detained and removed will not be rewarded for breaking the law and allowed to continue living in the U.S.

Besides the reasonable demand that the President and his Administration do their jobs, during the press conference, Gov. DeSantis also directed Fla. state agencies to notify local law enforcement officials every time a criminal illegal alien is released in the community as a result of Biden’s negligence.

Members of Angle Families joined Gov. DeSantis during the presser; these are families who lost loved ones directly at the hands of aliens who entered the country illegally.

Besides accurately calling the new Biden orders a “reckless policy” and a “disregard for public safety and the rule of law,” the Gov. added - “These are convicted felons who are here illegally. If you can’t remove them, then what do you have? Just a complete lawless system and a complete open border?”

Governor DeSantis also mandated monthly updates from FDLE on all criminal illegal aliens who have had their ICE detainer lifted under Biden, including when their Florida prison terms are up and any subsequent crimes committed by the criminal aliens.

This news comes after the Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody filed a lawsuit against the Biden Admin.’s sanctuary country directives. A.G. Moody detailed how the Biden rules have benefited criminal aliens convicted of burglary, cocaine trafficking, grand theft auto, heroin trafficking, credit card fraud, and money laundering, allowing them to be released back into Florida communities rather than being deported.

“If ICE is not willing to take custody and remove and ICE wants them released into our society, then any additional crime that is committed is, by definition, one that should have been prevented,” DeSantis concluded.

Below is the full letter from Governor DeSantis.
