Firing automatic weapons exercises those tummy muscles....
Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.

3D Printing - A Revolution
The World's first 3D printed gun. |
Ok, you can't make food with it like on Star Trek, but you can make things to hunt with like guns, knives and cool stuff like that.
3D Printing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital model. The printer creates objects by laying down successive layers of material.
There are websites to download 3D models that you can print and you can even get a device that will create a digital 3d model that can be printed later.
The 3D printer is used today in many industries to create prototypes and usable everyday oblects.
The picture on the left is some of the things you can make with a 3D printer.
Here is a website with downloadable 3d Objects, it is definitely worth a look!

The Terrifying, Dazzling Tools of Mexico's Drug Cartels
It can be a little deceiving to think of Mexico's drug cartels as simply gangsters. Instead, they've blurred boundaries between organized crime and quasi-military insurgents, seized swathes of territory and become some of the world's most dangerous criminal gangs. They've also acquired plenty of firepower to back it up.
The Zetas are one of the most disruptive and aggressive of them all. Formed by ex-military men who became armed enforcers for the Gulf
Cartel, the Zetas split with their former patrons nearly three years ago and have since become
one of Mexico's largest and most dangerous cartels. While most of those ex-military founding fathers of the cartel are now dead or in prison, they've retained a culture of military loyalties, if not so much the discipline and hierarchy. Or much in the way of taste. In September, Mexican police arrested Ramiro Pozos, the alleged leader of drug gang "The Resistance" and Zeta ally -- with his gold- and silver-plated AK-47.
Meanwhile, coming up on Saturday, incoming president Enrique Pena Nieto takes office, the first change in the presidency since the drug war exploded across the country more than six years ago. Aside from reducing the level of violence, one of his priorities will be wrenching back control of cartel territory, and putting it back under the control of the state.

The Revolution of Rising Expectations
The theory known as the Revolution of Rising Expectations states that "unfulfilled, rising expectations create unstable political situations". It is the middle class that tend to spark and lead revolutions, the Tunisian revolution of 2010/2011 was a middle class revolution, which then touched off the Arab Spring. To the casual observer, Tunisia was a stable government until the fiery suicide of a Tunisian fruit vendor began the revolution.
There are a number of countries today that are experiencing a rapid rise in their middle class and rising expectations that will likely go unfulfilled due to oppressive government, population demographics, cultural mores and competition for limited resources. These unfulfilled expectations will likely lead to unrest and possibly revolution.
I am going to explore a number of issues in the coming days that I believe form an irresistable and compelling force that will tie together to create explosive situations that will affect one third of the worlds total population.
This is PART 1 of my Revolution/War series

Florida Prepping
First of all, let me define my worst case scenario or SHTF/TEOTWAWKI, an event has occurred that leads to no power in the entire U.S./World, no government, anarchy, marauding gangs of hungry people.
If you look at a map of Florida, to live in South Florida means that there is no way you can leave Florida in a true SHTF/TEOTWAWKI situation. Pretty much you have 2 options, I-95 or I-75, both would be a gauntlet of traffic jams, thousands of broken down and looted automobiles, potential roadblocks and the threat of a forcible hijacking. The middle of the southern portion of Florida is all Everglades, Snakes, Alligators, your only options are to travel through highly populated areas (Florida is the 4th most populous state). To get from Miami to Jacksonville is 345 miles if 1 tank of gas can get you that far. The way I see it, the only option would be to bug in. I'd Put up my hurricane shutters and try to wait it out until the maniacs kill each other. Given this scenario what would you do from the perspective of a South Floridian?
