Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has died after suffering a stroke at the age of 87. Known as 'The Iron Lady,' Thatcher was Britain's only female prime minister and led the Conservatives to three election victories, governing from 1979 to 1990.
There was never a time when the relationship between the U.S. and The United Kingdom was stronger. The pair of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher was a worldwide force to be reckoned with.
I personally admired and had deep affection for Margaret Thatcher.
