Ingraham on Republicans: 'A lot of them don't want Donald Trump to succeed'

Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham lashed out at establishment Republicans Tuesday night, telling Fox News' "Hannity" that "a lot of them don't want Donald Trump to succeed."

"A lot of them don't like his policies," said Ingraham, who singled out Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake as being part of "a significant Chamber of Commerce wing of the Republican Party."

Flake made headlines Tuesday with the release of his book, titled "Conscience of a Conservative," in which he described the GOP as being in "denial" about the consequences of electing Trump president.

"Republicans play the safe gentlemanly game of politics," Ingraham told host Sean Hannity. "They agree with the Democrats on a lot of these key issues, and they...

Communist Cuba’s love motels

On its present course, Communist Cuba is doomed. Its current population of 11 million is projected to dwindle to just 1 million by 2025. This makes sense. Who would feel good about creating new people in that miserable, hopeless socialist hellhole?

So naturally the Cuban regime has created government-run

“love motels” (i.e., affordable rooms for fornicating) … throughout the state due to the fact that public sex in public parks is getting out of hand. The country’s continued housing crisis means multiple generations sleep under the same roof, while divorced duos can’t afford to not continue living together.

Instructing the population to copulate to benefit the state is not without precedent in totalitarian societies. It was done in Fascist Italy and the orders were explicit.

As Victoria de Grazia wrote in How Fascism Ruled Women: Italy, 1922-1945 (University of California Pres, 1992, page 69), Benito Mussolini’s dictatorship linked arms with the church “to denounce coitus interruptus as an abhorrent ‘fraud against the laws of nature, God, and...

Montclair Professor Calls For Trump To Be Killed

Women’s Studies Professor Kevin Allred at Montclair State University is back in the news. Allred previously attracted national attention (while on the Rutgers faculty) after he was reportedly ordered to go through a psychiatric evaluation after students “felt threatened” by him following Trump’s election. Now, Allred (who teaches a course on Beyonce) posted a comment that he hoped someone would kill Donald Trump. As should come as little surprise to many who know my view of the First Amendment, I view this statement as protected speech and hyperbolic. However, it was reckless, hateful, and worthy of condemnation.

I must also confess that I am perplexed by the fact that a professor is teaching (and students are getting credit) for a course on Beyonce. Hopefully there is something substantive in such a course though Allred’s public comments do not...
