Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has instructed his staff to draw up a contempt of Congress citation for FBI Director Christopher Wray and his deputy, Rod Rosenstein, after it was revealed Saturday that a top FBI agent was removed from the Trump-Russia investigation for possible anti-Trump bias.
What happened?
The New York Times and Washington Post both reported Saturday FBI special agent Peter Strzok — who played key roles in the FBI’s initial Russia investigation, special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation and the Clinton email investigation — was removed from Mueller’s investigation after it was discovered he exchanged anti-Trump text messages with FBI lawyer Lisa Page, whom he was having an extramarital affair with. Strzok was re-assigned to the FBI’s human resources department, a move many saw as a demotion.
The Post reported that Strzok and Page exchanged texts that were anti-Trump and pro-Clinton. The messages themselves weren’t revealed, just the existence of them.
As part of the intelligence committee’s investigation into the Trump-Russia probe and the anti-Trump dossier, Nunes asked the Justice Department several times why Strzok had been removed from the investigation, according to the Washington Examiner. The committee even issued a subpoena on Aug. 24 requesting information on Strzok’s reassignment.
Nunes and his committee followed up five separate times between Oct. 11 and Dec. 1. Each time, however, the DOJ and FBI failed to answer the committee’s questions. It was only after the Times and Post stories hit the presses that the DOJ informed Nunes they would grant his requests — well, at least some of them.
The actions of the DOJ have left Nunes and his committee no other option, the California Republican said Saturday.
What did he say?
He said, according to the Examiner:
Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.

ILLEGAL ALIEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED WOMAN AT BUS STOP WHILE SHE WAS HAVING A SEIZURE
GERMANTOWN, MD (ABC7) — A disabled woman’s trip to her local 7-Eleven morphed into a terrifying experience when a stranger sexually assaulted her during an unforeseen medical emergency.
The victim, whom ABC7 is not identifying, told police she had just purchased a pack of cigarettes at the 7-Eleven along the 12800 block of Clopper Road in Germantown. It was around 11:30 p.m. While walking home, the woman suffered a seizure, causing her to collapse onto a bench at a Ride On bus stop. It’s unclear how long the woman was unconscious, but when she came to, she realized an unknown man had one of his hands down her pants.
That man, who police have since identified as Francisco Roberto Sanchez, 41, of Germantown, allegedly ripped his hand away and fled on foot once the victim awoke.
The woman told police her attacker was a Hispanic man with short dark hair, dark mustache, wearing a white tank top and dark-colored basketball shorts.
Two days later, the victim called 911 to report she had spotted the suspect while she was riding the bus. A patrol officer arrested Sanchez in a wooded area adjacent to the scene of his alleged sexual assault.
According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Sanchez is “unlawfully present” in the United States. ICE has since lodged an immigration detainer against the Mexican national.
In 1999, U.S. Border Patrol agents encountered Sanchez in...
CBS News Poll: As Majority of Alabama Republicans Believe Allegations Against Roy Moore False, Judge Takes Commanding Lead
MOBILE, Alabama — As the majority of Alabama Republicans believe that the allegations against Judge Roy Moore are untrue, he now takes a commanding lead over radical leftist Democrat Doug Jones per a new CBS News poll.
The poll found Moore with a six-point lead over Jones. Moore, at 49 percent, leads Jones — who’s stuck in the low 40s at 43 percent — while four percent said they would vote for someone else and four percent said they are undecided.
The CBS News/YouGov poll, conducted between Nov. 28 and Dec. 1, surveyed 1,037 Alabamians registered to vote in Alabama. It further segmented the poll results into some results among registered voters and others among likely voters. Among registered voters, the margin of error is 3.8 percent. Among likely voters, the margin of error is 4.8 percent. The results for the election, with Moore leading Jones, were broken down to likely voters.
Another part broken down to likely voters was polling specifically about the allegations about Moore. Perhaps unsurprisingly, a significant number of Alabamians do not believe the allegations against Moore one bit.
A total of 54 percent — a majority — of likely voters in Alabama said that the allegations are either definitely false, probably false, or that they have “haven’t heard enough yet to say” whether they believe the allegations against Moore. Only 45 percent of all likely voters in Alabama say they believe the allegations are either definitely or probably true — with just 21 percent saying they are definitely true.
What is more, when broken down by party affiliation, the numbers get even more profoundly in Judge Moore’s favor. A total of 83 percent of Republicans say that the allegations are either definitely false, probably false, or that they have “haven’t heard enough yet to say” whether they believe the allegations against Moore. Only 5 percent of Republicans say the allegations against Moore are definitely true, and 12 percent of Republicans say they are probably true. Among Democrats, 86 percent say they are...

Trump-Hating FBI Agent Fired From Mueller Probe is Key Figure in Fusion GPS Dossier Scandal
In yet another blow to Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, the special counsel was forced to fire a top FBI agent after possible anti-Trump text messages were discovered.
New York Times reports:
The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, removed a top F.B.I. agent from his investigation into Russian election meddling after the Justice Department’s inspector general began examining whether the agent had sent text messages that expressed anti-Trump political views, according to three people briefed on the matter. The agent, Peter Strzok, is considered one of the most experienced and trusted F.B.I. counterintelligence investigators. He helped lead the investigation into whether Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information on her private email account, and then played a major role in the investigation into links between President Trump’s campaign and Russia. But Mr. Strzok was reassigned this summer from.
In August, ABC News reported that Strzok quit Team Mueller for unknown reasons. “It’s unclear why Strzok stepped away from Mueller’s team of nearly two dozen lawyers, investigators and administrative staff. Strzok, who has spent much of his law enforcement career working counterintelligence cases and has been unanimously praised by government officials who spoke with ABC News, is now working for the FBI’s human resources division,” reported Mike Levine.
Late Saturday night, we learn the Department of Justice has launched a review of Peter Stzrok’s role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
Reacting to Strzok’s ‘anti-Trump,’ texts, House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said, “We now know why Strzok was dismissed, why the FBI and DOJ refused to provide us this explanation, and at least one reason why they previously refused to make [FBI] Deputy Director [Andrew] McCabe available to the Committee for an interview.”
Strzok played a key role in analyzing the infamous ‘Trump dossier,’ supplied by shady research firm Fusion GPS. The now disgraced FBI agent used disproven elements of the dossier to spy on...

A Time for War: The Cold Civil War Continues...and Trump Is Winning
The cold civil war we are fighting is not just going well. Contrary to what was once expected, this war right now is in a stage of overwhelming success. Not that we have won anything permanent, but one has to be amazed at how positively things are going.
Consumer confidence is close to an all-time high.
Our economic growth is over 3%. After nearly a decade, our economy is clearly coming out of the doldrums, and the U.S. population is becoming optimistic about its future.
Trump is remaking the judiciary, an extraordinary achievement.
Illegal immigration is down, eventually to be controlled. A real border for a real country.
The military is strong, confident, and doing its job. ISIS and radical Islam are genuinely being defeated.
Our alliances overseas are strengthening, and our leadership is successfully realigning friends from the Obama-Clinton years of destruction. Other countries respect and fear us once again.
America is becoming great again.
Domestically, embittered adversaries on the left are melting down, in multiple ways. Their elites are being shown as irrational, immoral, hypocritical, rudderless, and foolish in an overwhelming wave of self-induced negativity. Their illusion of cultural greatness is falling apart, from Hollywood to the media to the educrats to the Democratic Party itself. They are failing miserably.
The Clinton crime family is going under for the third time, dragging others with it.
Yes, it's wonderful to watch the left disintegrate, but don't forget: they still own the education system and have won too many hearts and minds to their own party. It ain't over 'til it's over. We may be winning, but we haven't won yet.
So let's talk about really winning this thing. In order to really win, there are a few things we need to remember. And never forget: the things we must remember are...
