Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Politico, the media outlet of choice for flacks and hacks, has declared that Ron DeSantis, the conservative Republican running for Governor of Florida, against the media’s favorite new socialist, suffered his “fifth race-related” controversy.
That fifth “controversy” is about something that somebody who isn’t DeSantis tweeted. The fourth controversy also involved a DeSantis donor. The third controversy falsely smeared the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s Restoration Weekend attended by DeSantis (and Medal of Honor winner Clinton Romesha). The second involved a GOP official who also isn’t DeSantis. And the first was that DeSantis had been added without his knowledge to a Facebook group where other people said racist things.
And the media actually dares to get offended when people call it, ‘Fake News’.
What the five “race-related” scandals have in common is that none of them involve DeSantis. They’re all guilt by association. Even by the loosest possible association, a donor, a GOP official, someone on the same Facebook page or someone in Florida.
These fake news scandals aren’t being generated because there’s any basis to the racism smear. It’s a strategic campaign decision made because DeSantis’ opponent, Andrew Gillum, is African-American. Since Gillum is black, the Democrats decided to accuse DeSantis of racism. (If DeSantis were running against a woman, he would be accused of sexism.) And the media decided to advance the smear by inventing “race-related” scandals based on the flimsiest of premises to help the Democrats win.
The fake news template is to find somebody in Florida who said something controversial, then to demand that the DeSantis campaign disavow it. And presto, there’s another “race-related” controversy.
But the DeSantis fake news blizzard is mild compared to the campaign against Brett Kavanaugh.
Like DeSantis, the Kavanaugh smear was a purely tactical decision. Once the Democrats had decided to narrow the focus of their campaign to....
“You remember when we had that great, great election, almost two years ago, can you believe?” he asked the crowd Thursday night from the podium, claiming there were “tears from the fake news media when it was obvious that we were going to win.” [...] “Look at them, they’re still crying,” he said. “And let them cry. They don’t know what the hell happened, but it happened, and that’s why we are setting all-time records, that’s why we are doing so well, but we have to get out for the midterms.” [...] “You got to vote,” he said. “We need more Republicans. When they say we have a majority, it is like this: If somebody has a cold, we don’t have a majority that day. It is like, we have to have more Republicans in office. We will get everything we want so fast.”
The whole rally was similarly hilarious and the house was packed! Watch it in its entirety above.

Protestors who say they believe the accuser of Supreme Court Nominee Judge Brett Kavanuagh despite the lack of evidence apparently don’t believe Rep. Keith Ellison’s accuser.
Ellison is accused of physically and emotionally abusing her ex-girlfriend, Sierra Club activist Karen Monahan.
Democrats have yet to organize a protest or publicly denounce the sitting Congressman who is also the co-chair of the Democratic National Committee.
The Daily Caller spoke with several Kavanuagh protestors at the Hart Senate Office building Thursday, some protestors ignored questions about Ellison, while other refused to...
In an interview at the D.C. premiere of the Creepy Line, a documentary on the dangers of Google and Facebook, Dr. Robert Epstein told the Media Research Center that Google was building personal profiles of users mainly through Gmail. He warned that Google was compiling information upwards of 3 million pages per user, and said, “The more they know about you, the easier it is for them to manipulate you without your awareness.”
Epstein explained what parts of Gmail Google used to create these profiles: every single part. “I can’t even begin to emphasize how important it is that you not use Gmail. The problem is that it’s so extensive it’s hard to condense into a sentence or two. But the point is that they’re taking that information, not just from the emails you send, but even from the drafts, those crazy drafts that you decide not to send, that all becomes part of your personal profile. If you’re mentioning other people, that goes into their personal profiles.”
He mentioned that it didn’t matter if some users had emails outside of Gmail, those were on the profiles too.
“If someone writes back to you from another email server, it doesn’t matter, they’re monitoring that email as well. We’re talking about an accumulation of knowledge which, if someone is in their 30s, which might be the equivalent of, and I’m not kidding, 3 million Word pages of information.”
That was part of the theme of the documentary, The Creepy Line, where Dr. Jordan Peterson talked about being blocked from using Gmail. YouTube content creators like Peterson are at risk for having their Gmail accounts blocked if they become banned from YouTube, as the documentary explained.
Epstein also talked about the monitoring system he used for his 2016 study of how Google produced biased searches during the U.S. election. He suggested that in order for Google to have more transparency in the future, the monitoring system he built could be used to ensure neutrality. Epstein explained, “I am working with business partners now and academics on three continents to set up...
