The Left Goes Full Open Borders

It wasn’t long ago that both sides of the aisle believed America’s border laws should be enforced.

As President Donald Trump pointed out on Twitter, even former President Barack Obama, at least rhetorically, said that illegal immigrants couldn’t be let into the country en masse and without restrictions. (He said that as a senator.)
“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants into this country,” Obama said.

This dynamic has dramatically shifted, as the American left now increasingly sees any level of border enforcement as beyond the pale.

The migrant caravans originating in Honduras and heading north to the U.S. border are testing just how far the left will go in embracing this new narrative.

The position Obama held just over a decade ago is now considered offensive in some circles. Some are even demanding that the U.S. let the caravan into the United States.

“Every one of these people are coming from a real fear. These are refugees,” Cambridge, Massachusetts Mayor Marc McGovern said, according to the Boston Herald. “These are people who really are facing real problems and we have to let them through.”

The left is sending a message that concern over unchecked immigration is illegitimate.

Yet this is out of step with the American people in general.

Americans are clearly divided when it comes to the issue of immigration. Some want more high-skilled immigrants, others don’t. Some think a wall is necessary for border security, others don’t.

But one thing that Americans tend to agree on, strongly, is the idea that we have a right to control our border and determine who comes into the country. This belief flows from the concept that...

FL-Gov: Newly released documents add even more to Andrew Gillum’s FBI woes

Newly released documents show that an undercover FBI agent paid the bill for the food at a 2016 fundraiser for Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum’s political action committee.
What happened?

On April 11, 2016, Forward Florida, Gillum’s PAC, held a fundraiser for 40 people. The menu included items like filet mignon, salmon mousse canapés, cocktails, and an open bar for beer catered from a restaurant owned at the time by Gillum’s lobbyist friend Adam Corey. The event was also held at Corey’s house.

The documents include an email from Corey to an undercover FBI agent who was going by the pseudonym Mike Miller. The email read, in part:

Attached is the invoice for the dinner you graciously offered to sponsor. As mentioned, it was a bit higher than I expected because of some last minute attendees so let me know what you would like to cover and I’ll handle the rest. Again, I really appreciate this!

The bill for that event came to $4,386. Forward Florida did not include this contribution in its records.

In another email, Corey asks a campaign finance consultant named Brice Barnes if Gillum ever connected “with Mike Miller to thank him for co-sponsoring the food.” Barnes responded that Gillum had sent Miller “a personal note.” On Friday, Barnes told the Miami Herald that he did not “have any information other than the email exchange.”

Corey also asked Miller to give him “a shout about the Vegas trip you mentioned,” adding “I have another idea.” Trips that Corey and Gillum took with Miller have also come under scrutiny.

This document dump is in addition to the 150 pages of text messages, emails, and photos that were released on Wednesday by the Florida Commission on Ethics. These documents seemed to contradict Gillum’s repeated claim that...

EXPOSED: Leftist Open Borders Activists Are Organizing The Illegal Alien Caravan

A group of 7,000 plus immigrants from Central America has been making its way through Mexico towards the United States border, with clear intentions: enter the U.S., even if that means violating American immigration laws.

One of the key organizers behind the caravan, Pueblo Sin Fronteras, or “People Without Borders,” want to fly under the radar, but we’re here to help lift the veil.

The New York Times has said that “no group has claimed responsibility for organizing [the most recent] caravan,” but claiming responsibility and quietly funding are two different things entirely.

Though no single group has claimed control over the migrant caravan, at least two activists from Pueblo Sin Fronteras -Rodrigo Arbeja and Denis Omar Contreras – are embedded in the caravan, according to USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, and the Mexican newspaper La Jordana.

Contreras (often spelled Contera or Contera) reportedly helped to lead the caravan to illegally enter Mexico, where he told migrants “Welcome to Tapachula!” (a town near the Guatemala border). Abeja was also identified as one of the leaders of the caravans in April 2018, also backed by Pueblo Sin Fronteras.

The director of Pueblo Sin Dronteras in Mexico, and an American citizen, Irineo Mujica (seen below) was arrested on October 18th by Mexican officials for allegedly attacking immigration officials at a pro-illegal immigration protest near the Guatemala-Mexico border.

While American Pueblo Sin Fronteras organizer Alex Mensing told reporters that Mujica was not involved in the recent caravan, Mujica was detained in April for leading a previous caravan into Mexico with the support of Pueblo Sin Fronteras.

A press release on the group’s Facebook page from March 23rd, 2018 lists Mujica as its contact in Mexico, as well as...
