Trump’s promised ICE raids now canceled due to deep state leaks that would have ‘endangered law enforcement officers’ — guilty party identified?

On Friday, we reported on a leak to the media regarding President Donald Trump’s recent pledge that Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids were set to begin Sunday, targeting illegal aliens who have been ordered out of the country by immigration judges.

We noted that though the president tweeted about the raids, details were still sketchy since he never revealed anything beyond the fact that they were going to happen — at some point.

But as happens so often with this president, someone from the #NeverTrump bureaucracy leaked those details to the media, which, of course, quickly reported them because as we’ve seen with “Spygate,” the Washington establishment media has become nothing more than an organ of the deep state.

Now, some have questioned why the president would publicly announce such raids, and the answer is, perhaps our compassionate commander-in-chief wanted to give those in our country illegally a chance to leave on their own.

Fair enough. But beyond that very public warning, the details of ICE operations would necessarily remain covert so that agents could achieve maximum results for their efforts.

But no. Someone within government leaked to The Washington Post details of the raids which, if the Post leak is correct, will begin on Sunday in major U.S. cities the paper named specifically…

The Post went so far as to publish which cities were going to be targeted, who was going to be targeted, and, importantly, when they were going to be targeted:

President Trump has directed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to conduct a mass roundup of migrant families that have received deportation orders, an operation that is likely to begin with predawn raids in major U.S. cities on Sunday, according to three U.S. officials with knowledge of the plans.

The “family op,” as it is referred to at ICE and the Department of Homeland Security, is slated to target up to 2,000 families facing deportation orders in as many as 10 U.S. cities, including Houston, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and other major immigration destinations, said the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the law enforcement operation. …

ICE has been preparing agents and equipment for the operation, which is expected to unfold across several days starting Sunday morning, the officials said. Discussions about the scope of the operation continued Friday at ICE, DHS and the White House, two officials said.

As for whether the leak was punitive against the president, the San Francisco Chronicle provided more evidence. Following the president’s tweet’s ICE wasn’t talking:

ICE officials reportedly told the Washington Post that no operations were planned.

Now we know that, indeed, the leak was punitive because the administration has now canceled the raids out of fear that ICE agents’ lives would be put at risk of they proceeded.

In an interview with Fox News’ Judge Janine Pirro on Saturday, Acting ICE Director Mark Morgan lamented the fact that details of the operation had been leaked while announcing that the raids would be put on hold for the time being.

“The media got ahold of some operational specifics, and they reported it. It’s just egregious, and it puts the lives of the officers and agents at risk,” Morgan said.

“The men and women at ICE are true American heroes. The president recognized that. He postponed it to protect them,” he continued.

Gowdy reveals ‘unbelievable’ evidence: FBI gave different intelligence briefings to candidate Trump vs. candidate Clinton

Former congressman Trey Gowdy revealed how the FBI treated Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump very differently during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The former prosecutor and South Carolina Republican discussed with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo just how far the Obama White House went in gunning for Clinton during the campaign, giving her special treatment and different intelligence briefings than the-candidate Trump.

Gowdy and other Republicans have long been concerned about federal officials being biased against Trump and working to undermine his campaign, and he noted on this week’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that the FBI provided “two different kinds of defensive briefings to candidates depending on who you like and who you don’t.”

Added to how the FBI withheld transcript material from the FISA court, the former chairman of the Oversight Committee said “then your bias begins to impact the investigation.”

In discussing Attorney General William Barr’s investigation of the investigators, and the origins of the Robert Mueller Russia probe, Gowdy noted the bias in the intelligence community as Bartiromo said some information was kept from the “powers that be that were making important decisions.”

“I think what we’re going to find in 2016 is, the intelligence community was providing information to law enforcement that then went into this investigation, where some Democrats are calling for Donald Trump to be in prison,” Gowdy, a Fox News contributor, said.

Amash is opposing Sen. Josh Hawley’s reform to protect free speech in the digital public square.

Impeachment cheerleader Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) is rallying to protect Big Tech monopolists and their ability to capriciously kick conservative and libertarian voices off their platforms while keeping the legal immunity granted to them by the federal government.

Amash took to his Twitter account to whine against the Ending Support for Internet Censorship Act, a common sense reform that will be introduced by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) to eliminate special privileges for social media corporations if they acted as publishers rather than as neutral platforms.

Amash claims that removing Big Tech’s sweetheart exemptions in Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, thus protecting free speech from Orwellian corporate censorship, would somehow be dystopian.

Section 230 exempts social media entities like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter from being liable for user-published content on their platforms. They are not regulated as publishers, but have started behaving like ones in recent years by implementing Draconian censorship policies to strangle the voices of primarily right-wing dissidents.

“With Section 230, tech companies get a sweetheart deal that no other industry enjoys: complete exemption from traditional publisher liability in exchange for providing a forum free of political censorship,” Hawley said in a statement regarding the need for his legislation. “Unfortunately, and unsurprisingly, big tech has failed to hold up its end of the bargain.”

“There’s a growing list of evidence that shows big tech companies making editorial decisions to censor viewpoints they disagree with,” Hawley added. “Even worse, the entire process is shrouded in secrecy because these companies refuse to make their protocols public. This legislation simply states that if the tech giants want to keep their government-granted immunity, they must bring transparency and accountability to their editorial processes and prove that they don’t...

Deported Illegal Alien Arrested for Allegedly Raping Tennessee Woman

An illegal alien who was already deported from the United States has been arrested on rape charges after returning to Knoxville, Tennessee.

Javier Morales, an illegal alien, allegedly raped a woman in January, pinning her to a wall and sexually assaulting her, according to local police. Before being prosecuted for the rape, the illegal alien was deported back to his native country.

Local officials placed warrants on Morales in the event that he returned to Knoxville. This week, Morales was arrested and charged for the rape after he arrived back in Knoxville after being deported, according to WVLT.

Currently, the illegal alien is being held at the Knoxville County Jail.

The rape case is the latest incident in Tennessee in which American citizens have been reportedly victimized by illegal aliens. 22-year-old Piece Corcoran was killed last year in a crash caused by an illegal alien who has yet to be prosecuted for his death.

Similarly, in April, Debbie Burgess was allegedly killed in Knoxville by an illegal alien driver.
